I really love this air purifier. It’s hard for me to know how well of a job it’s doing but I sure do love the look of it. The cylindrical shape is modern and discrete. It’s very quiet. Sometimes I walk up to it because I’m not sure if it’s on or not but it always is. My only complaint is it has a tiny blue light. In our bedroom at night I don’t like any lights on so I ended up putting a small piece of tape over it. Overall function is great and appearance is 10/10

Having year-round allergies encouraged me to get an air purifier. This one looks good while also being effective. Even at the highest setting, it’s very quiet. I set it to auto and was surprised to find how low it needs to run. I guess my air quality is better than expected but I like using this purifier as insurance and reassurance.

Blueair's new Auto models are a great value offering competitive performance with an integrated air quality sensor that can automatically adjust fan speed. My favorite part about the Blueair Pure Auto line is they are standalone and you do not need to connect the air purifier to the internet. I don’t feel the internet of things is necessary to have a quality product, so it is refreshing to still have improvements made to standalone models. The Auto feature works great and was able to detect a candle being blown out across the room, adjusting the fan speed accordingly. Under normal operation, the 411 is whisper quiet. Even under moderate load the fan is bearable, but when set to high the noise is distracting at 48dB. Fortunately, the unit won’t switch to high unless you set it there or your environment has particularly poor air quality. Blueair does have two larger models that are sized for spaces over 200 sqft, but the 411 seems to work well enough in my space. The 360 filter design is ideal, though it is a little top heavy due to the bulk of the weight at one end. The fabric pre-filter is removable for easy washing and can even be interchanged with other colors. There is also an area that folds over offering built in cord management, a nice touch. All together, this provides a flexible, clean look that works with your space and isn’t an eyesore. If you are looking for a small purifier for a space under 200 sqft, the 411 Auto is the perfect choice to blend in and not have to manually adjust the fan speed.

Works well. Was super easy to setup - really just plug and go. It has multiple settings like night mode, regular, and boost etc. We put it in the bedroom and left it on "auto", but the little blue light was definitely visible in the middle of the night. Fortunately it has a "night" mode, we changed it to that and perfect for the bedroom. Very quiet - can not hear it at all, cleans the air, and completely dark with night mode. We have it right next to the laundry basket, but you'd never know the laundry was there!

Love this air filter! It has modes for low, med, high, and auto. This size is great for our bedroom. I usually keep it on auto, and I know it works because when my dogs walk by it, you hear it working harder haha! We live in quite a dusty area so it is definitely a must have in our household between the drafts in our older home and the dogs bringing stuff in. I love that the exterior cloth part is removable and machine washable. This thing is really quiet in low and medium modes and not bad on high. It looks nice and minimalistic as to not disrupt the vibes and I appreciate that! There are also different color options for exterior fabric that you can purchase separately if you choose to coordinate with your room decor, or just to have an extra on hand while washing one. Will definitely get the larger size for the living room!

The Blue Pure 411 Auto HEPASilent Air Purifier is a nice, compact unit. I think it looks a bit small to have on the floor, but according to the instructions, that is where you are to install it. The unit is pretty much plug and play as far as operation. The air filter comes with a colored fabric sleeve that attaches with Velcro. This is so that you can match your décor of the room where you are using it in. The sleeve that it comes with is grey, which is fine by me. First thing I did was sit and read the instruction manual (though there’s not a lot to this machine as far as setup). I was dismayed, though, by the first line of the Safety Instructions. I’ve included a photo of the text with this review. I’ve never read such a rude comment in an instruction manual before. I can understand what they meant, but as a parent of children with cognitive challenges, I didn’t appreciate the way they said it. I took off one star for that. I wish the company would rethink the verbiage. This is an Air Filter, not a sound mixing board. It’s not that complicated. I’ve also included the diagram showing how the unit works. I expected this to have a button that only needed a light or medium touch to start or change cycles. I literally had to smack the side of my palm on the button to get it to power on or to change modes. I also didn’t have the light patterns committed to memory, so I would continue to press the button to get the mode I wanted by sound. I’ve ran the unit mainly on Boost Mode. The white noise was better for me, as it was so silent on the lower modes, I couldn’t always tell it was on. If you are someone that WANTS a super quiet filter, I’d recommend this one. There’s also an indicator light to tell you whether or not it’s filtering properly. I used Boost Mode for the most part but did try it in Auto and Night Modes. When I did, the blue light (good) turned orange (not good). I turned the unit back up to Boost and the blue light has stayed on ever since. I do wish this unit operated with an app, or even had a small remote to make it easier to use. The Blue Pure 411 is a nice, compact, air filter for an average size room (I used it in a bedroom).

Quiet, simple, effective, the purifier just works. In terms of operation, I really like the large and flat pad on top that changes the settings with a simple tap from Auto all the way to Off. I never got the hang of the lights that come on in combination to let you know which mode you're in, but I like that they are subtle, and you just keep tapping until you hear what mode you're in by the sound of the fan. The shape, color and size of the unit make it really easy to fit into any decor. In terms of effectiveness, it has made a difference that I can feel in the bedroom. Very pleased with it. Would buy another one.

Coming from a severely allergic person to pets (eyes swelling, throat itching, nonstop sneezing until eventually I just get full on sick), this thing is amazing! Just like I believe in God but can’t see him, I trust this thing is doing it’s job even though I can’t see it. I have, not one, but TWO Siberian huskies that are kept mostly in a room for now (so my body can accept them little by little), but let me tell you how that hasn’t even been necessary. I hang out in that room all the time and not once have I had a single reaction to them. Best thing ever! Best part is that I had BestBuy rewards so I basically got it for $15 out of pocket!

We live in a 29ft trailer and keep the purifier on one end. We have three dogs and tend to keep a majority of the windows closed. After the first night we immediately saw a difference in air quality and the clean up / maintenance seems pretty easy due to the cloth covering. The noise is calming in my opinion, for some in might take some getting used to (i do have it at the highest).

I purchased this for someone and they really are impressed with it and the features. The noise level is really low and the air quality in their environment is drastically improved. Will not clash with any decor. So they’re pleased. I do recommend.

Excellent purifier for the money! Has auto mode that will increase speed depending on the air quality. It has great range 191 sq feet which easily covers my bedroom and bathroom. Does an excellent job, I've noticed I'm sneezing less and my allergies aren't as bad. Added bonus, my wife isn't able to smell all the food orders when I cook. It's a great buy for the coverage and price.

Plug in and start using. The front light shows the level of air quality. We tested and put it close to the fireplace and it instantly turned red, poor air quality. The looks are nice but it’s rather large. So find a place to put it and leave it.

A no-frills air purifier that just works. The thing that makes Blueair stand out is the pre-filter that you can wash and change the colors. I actually really like this as it collects the larger dust particles and keeps the internal filter cleaner and working for longer. With 2 dogs in the house, this is necessary to ensure that the filter and air purifier are working. The purifier is significantly more quieter than the unit that I replaced. As well as it has a modern feeling and fits much better in the decor. The fabric prefilter looks really good and I am not staring at a plastic purifier, it just looks way more premium.

quiet, efficient, and effective. I would definitely recommend this product to friends and family. one con I have with this product is that I wish they came with a black option. the white plastic gets dirty pretty quickly and is easily seen. another con is the button on top to cycle through the options, its not very good at picking up your finger taps. other than that its a solid product

Modern design looks great in my room. Cannot hear it at all. Air felt cleaner after first couple days of use. Easy set up.

I had been eyeing this air purifier for a while and finally decided to get it when allergy meds weren’t cutting it anymore. I’ve been using it every day/night for about 2 weeks and have definitely noticed a difference. I have 4 pets and suffer from horrible hay fever allergies and this air purifier has helped so much and I haven’t been congested since I started using it. It’s super quiet too!

This is extremely quiet and seems to be extremely effective. Allergies tend to be better than before running this unit.

Got this because I am sick all the time and thought it couldn't hurt to get an air purifier. I have no issue with the device, you can tell when it is really working because it'll get a lot louder and the light will change colors. I have this for my room, and when I go to another room I don't really notice a difference. If anything I have noticed my allergies aren't as bad. So that's a plus.

Seems to circulate air…I’m not sure it is filtering anything. Have never seen the “air quality indicator” be anything but Blue (which is good). Used in my bedroom and office on high setting which is quite loud as it is set on hardwood flooring., my dogs didn’t mind the noise and came in to lay down next to it! Medium fan speed and “night mode” or slow is very quiet. Loved the fact it uses very little power so not running up bills for possibly nothing. My dogs seem to enjoy it so maybe it is doing something. Registered for the extended manufacturers limited warranty which adds 2 years protection for free which is nice! Like the sleek look to it and hardly hear it being ran on “medium” or “everyday” mode. If looking to remove smells or smoke, may want to get a carbon filter as this doesn’t remove smells but hopefully allergens. I did notice I napped better with it on…time will tell.

Super quiet and efficient. Great closeout price. Not sure why the discontinued making this model.
