bought it for my daughter. it is very quiet and simple to operate. even nice looking.

I did a lot of research and bluair seemed like the way to go. Works great and the price is affordable especially for the quality. Definitely recommend!

It's extremely quiet; hardly know it's there even when I'm standing right next to it. I sometimes move it from room to room, and each time I do it flashes red for a couple of minutes so I know it is analyzing and purifying the air, but even then it usually changes back to solid blue light (indicating clean air) within a few minutes. I bought a second one for my mother as a gift.

Reviews praising the low noise level were what led me to choose this model over others as I planned to use it in my bedroom. It lives up to the claims. On low level, I don’t notice it unless I intentionally listen for it. In night mode, I don’t hear it at all. I do notice improved air quality and plan to purchase a second unit for another room.

I suffer from cough variant asthma and allergy induced asthma, and this has changed my life. My house is very clean, but what's in the air is in the air, and during work from home due to my asthma condition, I could not go through the day without coughing constantly. The worst is during phone calls, having to constantly hit the mute button so others do not hear me muting or clearing my throat. After purchasing this on a Sunday, I ran it on full speed, and noticed later in the day my asthma symptoms were getting better. To make sure this wasn't a placebo, I waited a fully week to do this review. This past entire workweek, my coughing and throat clearing has almost completely vanished. I am taking 30-minute conference calls, many that I facilitate, and I do not have to mute once during the entire call. This has literally changed my life, so much so, that I purchased two additional units for our home. I really didn't think this would work, but wow, huge relief for me - I'm a believer!

Quiet. Seems to work well. Designed for use in small rooms. Haven’t used it enough to give it a higher rating.

Am loving this air filter. It's very quiet most of the time, unless it detects the need to clean air rapidly. Very smart operation as well, it detects the amount of particles in air well. Looks nice too.

Works well. Was super easy to setup - really just plug and go. It has multiple settings like night mode, regular, and boost etc. We put it in the bedroom and left it on "auto", but the little blue light was definitely visible in the middle of the night. Fortunately it has a "night" mode, we changed it to that and perfect for the bedroom. Very quiet - can not hear it at all, cleans the air, and completely dark with night mode. We have it right next to the laundry basket, but you'd never know the laundry was there!

Its pretty easy to use... you just plug it in & let it do its work. Once it needs to be clean you just wash & have back at it again. Its incredibly silent & gives you assurance the room is good! But when the air is not clean & its on red its incredibly loud trying to purify the air but once the fan is off & the air is good ... its great!

I have owned this Blueair 411 for almost 2 years. I easly give this machine 5 stars. I have 3 dogs & 1 cat, they all enter my bedroom daily. There isn’t any tell tail odor in my bedtoom. Im definitely purchasing more for ither rooms of my home.

Never bought a air purifier before saw reviews on this one that cleans dust and other odors from a room. So I tested it and it’s pretty good has 4 stages that you could use noticed that it does clean bad odor but the dust is still noticeable unless you have it on high stage to observe the dust. It’s pretty decent for a normal size room and price point is ok. I recommend it if don’t like cleaning the dust from your room just use it on the highest setting to observe the majority of the dust.

Bought this cause I get a lot of dust in my bedroom which causes my allergies to flare up. It works good but the first couple weeks it had a weird smell which has gone away. I like that it has a night mode so it’s quiet and the light isn’t on when I’m sleeping. It has reduced the dust in the room.

It does the job. It's not as sensitive to smelly things like a Coway, but it's also much cheaper. If you're looking for an inexpensive room filter, this the the job. Not a big fan of the touch sensitive controls. I prefer buttons that I can push, but that's a minor detail.

Quiet. I like the auto feature with a color indicator light (blue-good air, amber-not as good, red-bad) and auto fan speed that tracks with this. It’s great to see the quality of the room and know that the unit will spin-up as needed. Construction seems solid and has a Scandinavian aesthetic.

Got these for a couple of small rooms. I love the sleek look and the various settings. The low settings are whisper quiet and if I need to clean the air in a hurry, the high setting can do just that. I also like how the indicator light changes color when it senses changes in air quality.

Excellent purifier! It’s so quiet that you hardly know it’s on. I tried to test smoke in a room and the auto definitely works! It detected within seconds and started to turn it higher to purifier the room. Good quality all around! Would recommend. Only downside is I wish it has timer.

I’m very happy with this air purifier. It is quiet and small enough to not be noticeable and stick out amidst other decor. It is also a sleek looking and attractive unit, so it does seem like another piece of decor,

I have to say this is better than I was expecting. It is quiet but it senses when it needs to increase speed of cleaning. I wasn’t expecting it to be able to detect but it does. When we cook in the kitchen. When someone burns toast.

Works very well! We have an older dustier house and this kicks on automatically when the air is polluted. It’s very quiet on its lowest setting, and no louder than a conventional fan at full blast. The design is also very nice, and fits well with the rest of our decor.

This product was very quiet and did a great job. My husband had COPD and needed this.
