The HP OfficeJet Pro 8035 is part of a new line of smart printers specifically designed for the small business or home office. It's easy to set up, starting with the touch screen and finishing with their Smart Tasks mobile app. Print quality is what you would expect from HP: excellent. The printer is fast - 20 ppm black & white and 10 ppm which prints pages much more quickly then the budget line of color laser printers, and the cost per page is much lower as well. HP also included "8 months of free ink", but that comes with a string -- you have to sign up for their monthly HP Instant Ink program. The 8035 is a full featured printer/scanner with voice activated printing (Alexa or Google Assistant), wireless and mobile printing, duplex printing and capable of outputting resolutions of 4800 x 1200. It also features a large paper tray that accepts multiple paper sizes. You can also save to or print to/from cloud services such as Google Drive or Dropbox. It's also very quiet, which is an important trait many people overlook. The OfficeJet Pro 8035 appears to have a very good build quality, especially for a reasonably priced printer. This OfficeJet has done everything I've asked of it, and has done it well. Wireless connectivity allows convenient placement, the text quality is excellent, and the ink is very inexpensive compared to other inkjet and even color laser printers. If you're looking for a do everything all in one printer, the HP OfficeJet Pro 8035 should most definately be on your short list.

I already have the HP Officejet Pro 8035 and have been extremely pleased with it. I needed another printer, so I picked up the Officejet Pro 8035e. The two are nearly identical when looking at them, but the 8035e has enhanced security features that the 8035 didn't. These features, if you not aware might stop your set up dead in their tracks. More on this in a moment. The 8035e is a feature packed printer that does nearly everything you might need, from printing, scanning, copying and faxing. Two sided printing is an ease. Scanning and copying with the document feeder allows you to process multiple documents at one time. With the HP print app for your mobile device or PC you are able to print wirelessly from virtually anywhere. Using HP+ gives you an extra year of warranty and a full year of Instant-ink from HP ink subscription service. The only area that slowed me down during the initial setup was with the mobile app. As it walked me through the steps to configure the printer, I kept getting an unexpected error, but it didn't give me the reason for the error. Though I tried several times, I kept getting the error at the same point, connecting to WIFI. So I reset the printer back to factory settings and attempted to configure it with my laptop. Again I ran into the dreaded unexpected error, but this time it said the router's WIFI security was not strong. I changed my WIFI router with one with better security and started the configuration again. This time the printer setup was done in less than five minutes. The enhanced security features of the 8035e would not allow me to add it to a vulnerable network. I think this is a good thing, though the mobile app didn't identify the reason for the unexpected error and the PC app did. This is a great printer for a small office or home office and is very capable for all of your printing needs.

Great SOHO all in one printer. Its fast and does everything you want, prints, copies, scans, faxes documents in black or color. It was extremely easy to setup, just turn on, open the inner door, and then install each one of the included inks (3 for color and one black), afterwards it will ask you to print an alignment page which you then have it scan so it can tune up the printer heads. Afterwards, you can finish the setup either on a PC by downloading the HP smart app from the windows app store or you can do it also on your phone downloading the same app from your phone’s app store. I chose to do it with my PC, it will detect the printer and then ask you to enter your Wi-Fi credentials, so the printer connects to your network. Then you can create a HP account (or if you already have one login) and then it will automatically give you an extra year of warranty and 12 months of free ink replacement!! (it does it in the form of 6 months free and then gives you $30 credit, which is worth another 6 months), you do have to enter a credit card info (does not charge you, however it’s needed for when the 12 month free period ends, then it will auto ship you ink, and you can choose your plan, and the great thing is it does it based on printed pages. The printer is amazingly fast, and I love the dual sided print feature, that makes me save so much on paper! Blacks are inky black, and colors are vibrant and defined (paper quality also matters here, so get a quality ink printer paper). I love that the scanner/copy feature has two ways to do it, either with the traditional scanner flat bed, or it also has an auto feeder tray, so you do not have to do one paper at the time, it automatically feeds the scanner/copier. It also has fax port; however, I have not tried it yet, I have not had the need to fax something, but I am sure it is like any other fax machine. Just an FYI, on my initial setup, the printer downloaded a firmware update and upon restart the HP smart app on my PC would not recognize the printer anymore, and then the printer on screen display would keep saying I had to finish setup, which I had done already, it would not let me print anything due this. I battled it out a hole night, doing a factory reset, re setting up the printer and nothing. I gave up. However, then next morning I decided to try it out again (I had unplugged it for the night) and I plugged it back again and everything was back to normal. So, I think unplugging it and plugging it back again made ok after the update, so If you have this same issue, remember to restart it like that after you see a firmware update (make sure it finishes it completely, do not interrupt it!).

The HP Office Jet 8035e was one of the easiest printers I've unboxed and set up. The unit is neatly packed in a plastic bag with blue handles making the unit easy to remove from the box. Two molded foam pad provide great shipping protection. Nestled in the foam is the ink and power cord. After registering and activating the HP+ your printer is warranted for one full year, ink included. Scanning via USB, ethernet or wireless is fast and accurate. WiFI connection is dual band, 5GHz or 2.4 GHz. Prints at 20 pages a minute in color, 10 dual sided. Easy to use thanks to HP Smart app and responsive color screen on front panel. Firmware updated flawlessly via the internet.

I always liked and used HP when comes to printers. And this OfficeJet Pro 8035e is no exception. I found it ideal to complete my tasks for my small business. The Office Jet Pro 8035 packs scanning, printing, faxing and copying into a single machine and it does it smooth, quiet and fast. It fits well on my desk and came with up to 12/mths free ink program. The installation is a breeze and the device is Wi-Fi and Ethernet-enabled, so you can easily add it to your network. So far so good. I love it!

A piece of garbage like every other HP product I have bought. It us frozen on the HP screen and can not reset. No way to get into the settings and this happened 5 days after the return window closed. Customer service just keeps reading their help menu and not listening. I got to settings if there us no settings menu. The power button will not shut it off and unplugging it does not reset it.

      Hi Daisy.

I’m sorry to hear that your printer stopped working. It’s easy to understand why a frozen screen, inability to access settings and an unresponsive power button would add up to an unnerving surprise. I want to help you out of this dilemma, so I’ll suggest some resources aimed at reaching that goal.

I recommend that you contact us directly so we can help you assess what’s happening and find the best course of action. HP+ printers such as yours come with exclusive concierge support. To call and reach live HP+ experts, visit the following URL and enter your HP+ serial number:

I'll also mention that HP printers have a one-year warranty from their purchase date that covers hardware as well as ink supplies – and that warranty extends to two years with an HP+ account – so if it comes to that, you might consider making use of it. This printer IS an all in one. I can print from anywhere, scan to my computer, and copy. So what's different than any other all in one you ask. 1) touch screen navigation 2) true color representation 3) does it pretty fast. I'm in school, online and have to print off a ton of reading material (yea I'm ole school - see it, touch it, feel it), it's great that I don't have to wait forever until its finished. Loading paper is very easy, the arm on the paper tray can be retracted when not needed. I haven't tried pictures or card stock yet, but I'm fairly sure that this Pro will come through .

After 2 years of a high use and using HP Instant Ink - printer just broke down and stopped recognizing blue color. Waste of money and warranty stopped after 1 year, no replacement parts offered, printer discontinued. Heavily disappointed in this brand.

      Hi there.

I’m sorry to hear that you’ve been unable to use your new printer because it has not connected to your computer like it should. I can wholly understand why the device’s failure to recognize the PIN would cause dismay and frustration. I want to help you get the printer connected and working properly. I hope the resource below will guide you to that end.

This printer is easy to set up. App needed. Took me 2 tries. And less than 10mins. It’s kind of large for our small desk. The screen is a good size, bright and doesn’t lag. Ideal for smaller finger. Printing black and white is very fast but color and detailed prints take a little longer. Over all great functionality and good quality prints.

The HP OfficeJet Pro 8035 is such an easy-to-use printer. It is “All-in-One” plus more. While exploring it’s settings/abilities, I realized that besides the usual printer scan, copy, and fax, it also has already installed apps and you can download more, if necessary. The printer also has a photo option in which you can view & print photos from a USB Drive and even print passport photos. I decided to test this printer’s features. First, I connected the printer to the internet, which was very easy. Once connected, I downloaded the HP Smart App on my phone and quickly connected the printer to my device. I bought photo paper to test it’s photo printing and let me tell you, I printed about 6 - 4”X6” photos, and the quality was great! I was also very satisfied with the quality and quickness of the printer. The ink on the photo prints was dry and it did not smudge at the touch. Next, I inserted 8”x11” regular paper to print documents. The printing was quick and the printer was not loud. I scanned photos to my laptop and they looked as good as the originals. Overall, I am very satisfied with this printer's features and recommend it to anyone wanting more out of a printer. It's a pro version for a reason.

HP Office-jet Pro 8035 All-in One Printer is a smart and easy printer to use. I have had many printers over the years and this printer is without a doubt the easiest one I’ve ever set up. Out of the box all I had to was follow a link in the instructions on my IPhone or computer and download the HP printer app. Once downloaded the App walks you through the setup process. The printer can be setup through a standard printer cable directly to your computer, Network cable or wirelessly for multiple users to use. This is a full service printer with printing, scanning, copying and is even Alexa enabled. It has a clear fairly large LED touch screen to work the scanner, copy functions, view ink levels and other setup tools. As a bonus it includes free 8 months of Insta Ink which is great. The print quality is excellent and very quick and is the best HP home office printer I have ever had.

This is the best printer I have ever owned! It’s really fast for printing a lot of pages, the installation is really easy, and the documents/pictures are printed with good quality. This printer is able to connect to all my local devices so I can send files from my phone, my computer, tablet, etc. via wireless connection. I can also scan my documenta and send them to my email without using a wired connection. It included 6 months of free toner as a trial for HP Plus and that has been really good for my home office usage.

I have been through many cheaper Black HP Printers in the past few years/ I honestly cannot tell you the fundamental differences between them, minus some superficial elements This one by far has been the most improvement of them all so far and is good for the modern age for HP. setup was a true breeze. NO printer has been easier to setup and just be ready to go so fast before. on all my devices, samsung galaxy phone, ipad, iphone, mac, & windows 10. All were easy. I like the color of it and have no idea, why the HP Tango, at its more expensive price, keep being recommended over this. THis scanning is fast, printing is great and Ive been printing photos and they come out beautiful. The only downside I hvae is that unlike a model in the past, you can't have, smaller photo paper in while having normal paper in. also, it cannot auto detect what kind of paper you input, so you have to be diligent about that. the quient function on this printer is really quiet, unlike other models of the past. this is good at informing its on and when turning it off would be beneficial to specific jobs you ask. Its worth the cost over the basic black units, modern looking,a dneasy to use. HP Instant ink can be a downside though, its very encouraged to use it and it comes with instant ink in the box, forcing you to sign up for it. otherwise, you MUST purchase the ink separately in order to not use instant ink. luckily you get generous trials for it, but keep in mind for longterm use.

Easy to set up both wireless and/or wired. I can print from anywhere in the home. I received my first order of instant ink (8 months of instant ink included with purchase), less than a week after set up. Easy cartridge install system with 4 colors so you don't waste ink. Printer is quiet, with touch screen to copy or scan. This printer replaces my old HP 2355 all in one (a dinosaur). Very happy with this purchase. Have not yet printed on envelopes. Glossy brochure stock printed beautiful.
