    Technical, quality and support issues

I've used HP printers for many, many years. This one is a bit disappointing. As with everything plastic - the qualify of the machine itself is now cheap plastic - does not feel sturdy as previous models. Technical problem occurred right away. "Supply System Problem" message appeared when I changed out cartridges. I followed the suggested steps but problem remained. Called HP, the printers are now made with a removable print head so they are going to send a replacement head (11 days for delivery). If problem continues, they will replace printer. I'm assuming another 11 days for that. If this was my only printer - 22 days would be too long to be without a printer. Not great customer service, in my opinion.

I simple love it all. Its stylish. A bit bigger than I hope but smaller that similar ones which is a great asset. Has a feeder/ paper storage so no need to worry about loading the paper. I have printed both in color and black and white and printed equally great. I havent had a chance to us the fax but I have faith that it will not disappoint me. The screen is small but big enough to see clearly what functions you are choosing or where you are at. I have been printing mailing labels and the barcodes have come out great and very clear. Copying just as well

i have always loved my HP Printers, they worked well and lasted. but i returned this one and will not buy an HP again unless they switch the paper trey design back! this new paper tray is so flimsy it DOES NOT WORK! there is nothing that locks to hold 8 1/2 x 11 paper in place, so printer just spins and spins trying to load paper. you have to open tray, push paper forward, slowly close tray and pray paper catches. we worked with it for over 2 hours, paper repeatedly refused to load. although several times the ENTIRE stack of paper loaded and jammed underneath printer. we tried 3 HP printers on display at Best Buy with same tray, ALL had exact same problems! would either spin or load & jam entire paper stack. who cares how well it prints if paper wont load? i bought a midrange Brother and am very happy with it.

I bought this all in one printer when it became difficult to buy ink for my last printer. Installation is easy, paper jams are easy to clear, prints clearly and quickly, scans better than my last printer.

High End Printer That Blends in with Daily Life

Printer’s are a necessary evil for home life and can be difficult to work with. This HP 9015 Printer really breaks that mold by being so easy to use that it doesn’t feel like a nuisance to use! PROS: - The Printer is very well designed! I like the white/gray design and although it has a lot of features, it still feels compact and just blends in with your home or office by not being an eyesore. - Setting up was very easy! After turning on and putting the ink in, I used the HP Smart App from my iPad. This App made it very smooth and easy to use. Very happy with the setup! - After setting up, this printer is easily accessible through WiFi from any Windows 10 computer as well as my phone/iPad with the HP Smart App. So printing/scanning was very easy after that! - To be clear: you do not NEED the HP Smart App to print from a mobile device. I was able to print over WiFi with my iPad Pro without using the App. So you can print without the app but using other features via a mobile device you need the HP Smart App. - Can confirm this printer prints double sided!! Nice feature! - Overall it has a lot of nice features needed for a home/office printer. Print’s fast with no errors, scanner, and copier. It will be very useful. CONS: - I like how everything is wireless but if for some reason you wanted a hard connection (which you can do), you would have to buy the cord separately . The Printer only comes with Power Cord and Ink. - I can’t think of many. For the price it takes care of everything I need. BOTTOM LINE: For my uses, this printer hits everything on the head. It’s ease of use is truly great and makes printing/scanning a seamless process.

Do not buy. Extremely disappointed. Quality has gone way down since our HP8620 was convinced it had a permanent paper jam. We bought an HP replacement, but it is clearly made more cheaply. Color ink cartridges are very small. Probably another incentive to try to force you to go to their automatic ink replacement which we do NOT want to do. Instructions are poor. They start out well but abandon you. Can't set up both USB and wireless connections: Pick one. Can't browse for path on fax set up. Paper output doesn't even hold an entire 8X11 sheet. It has a plastic slide to push paper up at an angle since it is too short. You will have to actively monitor any printing over a few pages. I could go on, but this will likely be my last HP printer.

      Hi, Cindy.

I’m sorry you’re unsatisfied with your printer. I can certainly understand, though, why a general disappointment in workmanship, ink cartridges that you find too small, and setup and design aspects that you find inconvenient would contribute to a poor start to ownership. I want to help you have a good experience with the device, so I’ll provide some clarifying information and resources that I hope will reach that goal.

First, regarding ink, the XL cartridges designed for your printer have estimated page yields of 1,600 to 2,000 pages, while the regular size cartridges are expected to produce 700 to 1,000 pages. They’re among the highest-yield cartridges in our consumer and small/medium-business printer lines.

Next, to learn more about your printer and all its features, or for help solving problems, you can access user manuals, how-to documents, troubleshooting guides and software updates here:

You can also visit a page on our support site that has diagnostic tools for various tasks and issues, including cartridge installation, print quality, operating-system compatibility and connectivity. You can find the page here:

If you need further assistance, I suggest that you contact us directly at +1 800-474-6836 so we can help you assess what’s happening and find the best course of action. To expedite the process, I recommend gathering the following information before the call:
