This is by far the best vacuum we have ever used. The battery lasts long enough to cover both floors of our two story, 3k square foot home. We have a combination of both tile and low ply carpet, and which is perfect since this unit comes with easily detachable heads for carpet and hard floors. You can adjust the suction level from Eco, Auto, or High suction depending on your needs. We always leave it on the auto mode as it adjusts automatically as you vacuum to higher or lower. The heads pivot easily and with an amazing range so its very easy to vacuum around objects or under areas like tables or couches. Our favorite feature is the "detect" laser. This works amazing and continuously surprises us by exposing just how much is on our tiles that is usually not visible. With a toddler and two dogs at home, this Dyson makes it very easy to keep up and easily keep the house clean and tidy.

Love it been wanting this for a long time and my wife finally gave in and we purchased dyson v15 and are completely satisfied

So far so good. Its still kicking, And its been great. My first vacuum purchase and probably the last for antoher while.

Excellent quality. Attachments make the process of different duties easy. Battery life allows me to accomplish three floors including hardwoods, stairs, carpet, and rugs in one charge. I chose to store all parts in a bin under bed rather than hang. The product can also be used on anything from couches, pool tables, and cars. Specifically, I love using it on the stairs.

Absolutely Amazing. I have 3 dogs. Rottweiler, German Sheppard and a Pitbull. Picks up dogs hair with no problem.

Probably one of the best vacuums I've ever used. I was a little hesitant about the hype of Dyson's, but they totally live up to it.

I absolutely love this device! It surely is the best vacuum on the market today. I've been a Dyson guy for 15 years and have had multiple vacuums of theirs through the years. The V8 Absolute is still going strong after extensive use for 6 years. Had the V10 for a few years too. But this is the best! Truly amazing!

I decided to cave and get a Dyson stick vacuum after being unhappy with the Shark for the past 2 of 4 years of ownership. I cannot believe the amount of dirt and cat hair that the Dyson v15 picked up off of one area rug right AFTER running the Shark. I was immediately sold and extremely happy with my decision.

I love this vacuum and from now on would always like a laser on my vacuum cleaner. It actually helps see what’s on your floors and for me that’s very helpful, especially with the dog that sheds a lot. My only complaint with this vacuum cleaner is that it is top-heavy, so it does strain your wrist and elbow. I actually got elbow tendinitis from using this vacuum cleaner daily while my family came to visit. I usually only vacuum once to twice a week which doesn’t seem to affect my arm at all.

It works well but isn’t worth the price. Gets clogged too easily

I picked this Dyson-V15 Detect Cordless Vacuum over a robot vacuum because of space limitations. It does have enough suction power to deep clean my whole house with pet hairs.

LOVE this vacuum. Came from the V11 and this is definitely better. These vacuums have gotten expensive, but the laser is fantastic at showing debris on the floor for cleanup, and the soft roller rocks for hardwood floors.

This replaced my Dyson V 11. I really like the new attachment with the laser light. Nothing is left behind. This is a great vacuum. It does everything I want.

This Dyson vacuum works very well. It is an upgrade from our previous Dyson cordless V-10 vacuum (which we have had no problems with). I am pleased with all the attachments this one comes with.

So unboxing this was fun. Every single piece was individually wrapped or in a box. Dyson is making sure this is well protected until it is ready for use. First thing you will want to do is charge the battery for about 4-5 hours. So locate the battery and charger quickly and plug them in, then continue your unboxing. I like that Dyson includes a way to wall mount the unit and a place to keep most of the attachments when not in use. You can set this up while you are waiting for the battery to fully charge When the battery is ready, you simply re attach it to the unit and then you need to cycle through a few menu options before you can start. The color display is fantastic. There is a single button below the display, pressing it once will cycle through the options present to you. LONG press when you want to Select an option or confirm a choice. This display will show you the scientific proof of a deep clean and will separate the dust picked up into different categories: >10pm (pollen), >60pm (Skin Flakes), >180pm (Fine Sand), >500 pm (Sugar). This display also shows the run time countdown timer so you know how much battery you have left as well as which power mode you selected. Once you have gone through the menu settings you are ready to use your vacuum. I have owned two Dyson cordless vacuums in the past and this is by far the best one ever. You get all the standard attachments but this time you get two cleaner heads. The first is the laser slim fluffy cleaner head. This is designed for hard floors and has a precisely angled laser that makes dust visible. I had no idea what to expect but this is my favorite feature by far. Being able to SEE where you have been and where you need to still vacuum is a game changer. I could not wait to try this attachment out first and I was quickly rewarded. The laser is perfectly bright to see in all light conditions. You will only see several inches in front of you as you go but that is all you need to see. Wow, I had no idea how dirty my floors were until I shined a light on them. Then I found myself constantly looking at the display to see what types of dust I was picking up. The second head is the more traditional High Torque cleaner head for deep cleaning of rugs and carpets. My initial use of the vacuum I was able to use both the hard floor head and the carpet head. I was able to use it for about 45 min total the first time. The hard floor head will use the least amount of battery power even when using the laser. When you switch to carpet, it takes more power from the battery (which is to be expected) so it drains more quickly. Suction was equal to any of my full corded vacuums. So now it is full and ready to be emptied. You will remove the attachments so you are left with only the main unit in your hand. Using both hands, one hand will hold the unit like you were vacuuming, and the other hand will then press down on the red lever on the outside of the canister. Be sure you are positioned over a trash can before you do this. This red lever will MOVE the entire canister down towards the trash can and away from your trigger hand. If you push slowly you will see it move and the unit becomes longer. When it reaches the end, it will pop open on the end and empty the contents into the trash receptacle. The first time I did this I was too quick and was not quite expecting the action. So it emptied quickly. The next time I was more intentional when pressing the red lever so I could see the canister moving and I stopped when it got to the end. Then I pressed harder when I was ready to empty it. To be honest, for me this is one area that could use an update in the next version. I REALLY like how the canister slides, in the older models I had, the canister was fixed so if something was still stuck in the top of the canister it was harder to clear. Now you can quite easily get all the debris out of the canister. But the area that could use some updates is the actual release at the end. It just snaps open. I would like a little more control over the actual opening of the canister. I also noticed that hair had gotten wrapped around the inside section of the canister which is to be expected, but as I slid the canister open to empty it the canister went past the hair and now I had to pull it off the canister manually. Not sure the fix for this but something you will likely notice. I do wish the unit would come with 2 batteries so you could always have one fully charged ready to go. And I do wish there was a way to LOCK the power on so you did not have to squeeze the trigger the entire time using the unit. Next I used the smaller attachments to clean the couches, cushions and inside our cars. They worked flawlessly, and in all my use so far I have yet to have any hair tangled on the rollers. These work as advertised. TANGLE FREE for sure. Well done Dyson engineers on this.
