Great PC, boots up ridiculously fast, does everything one would expect, but exceptionality quick. Great laptop for my wife to continue her education and edit photos.

Never had a touch screen laptop till this one. Love it, my old laptop I did not use everyday but this one I use more often now. The speed is great, very clear screen. The battery life is amazing.

I bought this computer to replace a very old computer. I mainly use it for web surfing and personal records/spreadsheets (no gaming). The computer boots up quick. The screen is large, sharp, and amazing to view. The computer set up was easy and simple with the step-by-step directions. The keys on the keyboard are nice light touches. The number lock does not have a light indicator to tell if its locked or not. Wished it had that indicator. The laptop is light weight. Overall, I'm very happy and satisfied with the purchase. Planning to buy another one for a family member.

I had taken a walk from Windows for the last few years because simply I was sick of the lack of support, but then i work in finance and most applications wont work on a iMac. So i needed at least one Windows device in my home office. So i purchased a laptop, touch screen with a 110 keyboard and the ability to log in with my finger!. The only surprise was NO ethernet connection. That is the reason for the 4/5. And one of the updates absolutely had my operating system stuck in boot mode. So after having it for 3 months, still under warranty, it had to be sent back to HP. My laptop was back in less than 7 days, fixed, working better than ever with the Windows 11 update on it. Sound is loud. Connects to my 32" screen easily I have it bluetoothed to everything and tax season is in full tilt. The camera im not impressed with, so i did purchase a Logitech external camera for my webinairs and training courses.

Other than the screensize, another advantage is that the laptop is pretty fast.. however the self weight is not that much. Overall, a good laptop for students, has good battery backup.

I finally decided to get a new laptop and searched around for models that would have a larger screen but more power than my older laptop. I was also eager to move up to Windows 10 (from Windows 7!). I've been very pleased with this model. I would have liked a bit larger SSD drive, but the 512GB should be okay, especially if one makes use of One Drive or Dropbox. Startup is very fast and, a big plus over my older laptop, the fingerprint reader works very well. I haven't used the touch screen much, but this should be a plus for some apps as well. Given it's size, it's a little heavy, but less than it would be if it had a traditional hard dive and CD/DVD reader. Speaking of which, you'll need an external CD/DVD drive, but my guess is that most people are using these less these days so not a big deal.

This laptop was purchased new to replace a much older (2012) 14" laptop running Windows 7. I like the larger 17" screen and the larger keyboard that provides a separate numeric keypad. I also like the fingerprint ID button that allows me to log in without using a pin or password (the pin is available if needed). The only problem I've experienced, which may not be a hardware issue, is that Zoom does not recognize the internal microphone so I either have to use earpods or an external USB microphone. I have not yet contacted Geek Squad for their assistance on this.

I was looking at laptops, so many I think my head was spinning. I kept coming back to this one. It has all the stuff I wanted and some nice extras that I really like. My vision is not as good as it used to be so I really needed the 17.3 inch screen, I also really like the back-lit keyboard. It has a larger touch pad than others and it allows you to do more than move and click on things. It's so sleek and lightweight compared to the others I've had and looked at. It is so much faster than anything I've used in a long time. It feels like it's built sturdy and ready to go.

Let me start by saying that I like a larger screen and a fast computer. This is a great laptop. It is lightweight, and I carried in my backpack on a recent air flight. The speed is excellent, and operation is tremendous. On/off switch is on the keyboard, and it has the built in fingerprint identification scanner. It easily connects to my phone, my home desktop, my wife's iPhone, and our printers. With added software, it has easily handled video production, video viewing, live streaming, home connect streaming and files, word and spreadsheet programs, and computer to computer transfers. It was more expensive than my other options, but you are paying for conveniences, built in tools, light weight, excellent screen, and processor and processing speed and connections. After a month, I am extremely pleased with performance.

We love the new computer! Our last laptop, also an HP Envy, was beginning to run really slow and definitely showing its age. But, it was 7.5 years old so that is to be expected. As to be expected, the new computer is running a lot faster. The touch screen is responsive and nice. My only issue is that it does not have a network jack. The wireless is fine and how we normally will use it, but I ran into a driver issue during setup, and couldn't log into it while booted in safe mode. I re-installed the OS and this time created a local admin account. (Darn Windows)

Very pleased with this laptop. This is my 2nd purchase of HP laptops so I obviously like them. Much lighter and slimmer than my previous one, battery life is a lot better as well. The only "gripe" I have is that it does not have an input jack for for an internet cable. So unless you have good wifi in your hotel room (I travel a lot and prefer the security / privacy of using a cable rather than the wifi) you are going to have to buy and adaptor.

Great laptop. Good for all around use. I lettle heavy but worth it.

Great shopping experience. This pc is replacement for 7 year old model. Very fast! Easy set up also. Did engage geek squad to make sure all was good. As usual, their service was fast and good. Plan to enjoy this pc for a few years!

Great Laptop! absolutely amazing. It might be a little heavy but it is absolutely worth it! I7 processor makes it so much better to be able to listen to music, have a background live display and play video games. Great to have it a home -work laptop. The sound is super and it is veery immense. Would recommend !

I needed a new computer bad and after looking over a number of computers I decided on this one. I wanted a PC that I can use for work and play and this one so far as gotten the job done. I wish the camera was a little better but love the other features. The screen is huge and for the power its like having a portable desktop. As a DJ, it's important to have the speed and functionality. I look forward to see what else I can do with my new toy.

I purchased the laptop two years ago (2021) and I was very happy with the HP Envy as always: responsive touchscreen, numpad, generous space for the wrists, quite lightweight for a 17.3'', fast startup, decent sound and video. I won't take stars from the review, but something broke on the motherboard in less than two years and the laptop wouldn't charge anymore; the repair cost were too high so I just purchased the next gen of ENVY.

Excellent upgrade for our needs. Large 17" screen plus fast CPU and plenty of RAM for our programs. The Gorilla Glass touch screen is so much better to use than regular touch screen laptops. The Optane memory feature is nice which helps keep the Ram purring along. The connectivity works very well thru bluetooth and home network devices. I use graphic and sound editing software without lagging issues as my older model did. Best investment for myself and the family loves it too. Was priced lower than most laptops that were equal in specs. Surprisingly, the laptop speakers have very good sound, not as tinny like most and gets louder than most also.

It is very new but so far our experience has been very good. - The initial startup out of the both was very easy - The performance has been very good - I was able to re-install and setup all our applications quickly - The transfer of the data from the old to the new laptop was easy - My wife is thrilled with the speed of everything she does - We like the brilliant screen
