This is an exxxxxcellent mic! I thought this might replace my 15-year old Snowball, but this mic still requires an interface. I keep this set up at home, and I keep my Snowball for when I need something more portable. The quality of this mic is night and day from my Snowball, but both mics are so perfect for what they are made for. Can’t go wrong with Blue!

Sounds good according to my web-meeting mates. Bought a Shure X2U adapter that was simple to set up for a USB connection to my Macbook. It's a fairly heavy unit, so the mike stand can be tippy.

Incredible mic, people are always asking me about it because it sounds amazing. Software is doing a lot of work though too, but the switch for -20db has been nice!

So far this mic is pretty good. It is my first condenser XLR mic so it will take some adjustment to dial in the settings.
I do like the fact that it comes with a shock mount in the box, but wish it came with an aesthetically pleasing pop filter. It really helped at the discounted price point.
Blue used to have one available called the BLUE Universal Pop Filter, but that seems to have been discontinued.
After watching a few reviews on YouTube I was concerned that plosives would be realy harsh, but it hasn't shown up a lot in any of the test recordings that I've done.
I'm currently using this at 16db with my Elgato Wave XLR.

This is my first XLR Condenser Microphone. I have a HyperX Quadcast USB Condenser Mic that did extremely well for 2 years. As a streamer though, many said a XLR Condenser mic was the way to go. But I didn't want to spend around $500 on a GoXLR. Then the Wave XLR came along and I decided to go all in. When I was purchasing a Wave XLR, I was shopping for a XLR Mic. Blue has awesome looking mics and their reputation for audio quality is high. I didn't see the need for the baby bottle or hummingbird, however the Spark and Bluebird intrigued me the most for stream and video call usage. The Spark SL seemed fitting for what I was going to use it for. This Blackout Spark SL sounds amazing! I can't image what the higher tier mics sound like. The sound quality is detailed and I sound way better on my Stream!

So far, the setup was easy and simple with the included shock mount. Sound quality is near flawless when paired with my focusrite scarlett solo. Overall, I would recommend this to anyone wanting to go with a decent XLR setup.

I got this microphone when finally moving to an XLR setup and while daunting to figure out the required equipment to get along with it, the microphone itself is very easy to get set up and tune.

Pretty good mic out of the gate. Gets a lot better if you have software to tune eq/use plug ins. Only issues I have are the switches not working most of the time.

I use this for the two zoom calls I have per week and the clarity that others here from me through the call sounds like I’m in the room.

Excellent quality Mic. I think i did a little bit of an overkill for my first mic for streaming, but the quality is great. Only thing that I must put out there is that the mic does not come with an XLR cable. In fact, my best buy store doesnt sell the XLR cables at all. I had to drive to a local music store to purchase all additional items needed for this mic to work for my PC. But overall satisfied with my purchase.
