Bought in February and have to replace the filter at beginning of September after 24/7 use. Works pretty quietly and the lights can be turned off, doesn't need wifi or app, just touch "screen" buttons. It has some hard thresholds at around 85% air quality where the fans just ramp up though. And the air quality screen just seems to show a bunch of numbers regardless of what the biggest pollutant is, but I'm not an air purifier so I can't really say.

Filter lasts very long, I use when cooking and it clears up the air quality makes it easy to breathe had a couple years already use daily filter still has life

Awesome Air Purifier. It’s expensive, but it actually does it job and shows you how clean the air is. I have three dogs and the inside of my house smells fresher than outside.

Bacon smell who??? This purifier does wonders! Gets rid of food odors in an instant! I absolutely love the auto programming, gives you a percentage of your air cleanliness within reach of the machine. Crazy how quiet this thing can be knowing it has six fans running through. It’s light for its size and can fit comfortable in corners. It’s allergy season right now and this thing has certainly helped with my sneezing, because let me tell you before this I would sneeze up a storm in my home, but now it’s like I don’t even have to take allergy pills anymore! Please continue making these magical machines that help with seasonal allergies and smells within the home. Thank you Shark!

Can actually purify the air in our living room plus kitchen. You smell the difference right away. Before and after

This is my first air purifier. After reading many reviews from many options and brands, this one stood out the most. I've only had it for a couple weeks now, but so far as soon as I'm cooking it kicks in automatically and shows the quality of the air drops and changes to a higher speed and immediately starts doing what it says it does. I've even noticed this when I have it in the bedroom. My allergies have also improved overall and I definitely will be getting a second.

We are very happy with the Shark Air Purifier. We have watched dust & pollen particles floating in sunlight disappear in a matter of minutes. There is very little dust now when we clean. This has really made a big difference with our allergy symptoms. It also helps removing cooking odors. You do need to scan the QR code on the top of purifier with your smart phone to see videos on how all the functions works. Pretty easy to use after watching the videos.

This thing has power and does the job. It can clear out smells from cooking in an hour.

We have pets and I am slightly allergic, so we got the purifier. We tested the air pollution settings by a window in the kitchen and noticed it reacted very quickly whenever we cook or have the windows open. It displays air pollutant information along with how many ppm of various sizes, like smoke, bacteria, etc. Operation is extremely easy. Just plug it in, set it to auto, and it will change speeds as necessary. I have definitely noticed it helps a lot with my indoor and seasonal allergies. I wish it were cheaper, but it covers a significant amount of square footage, is quiet, and the slim profile is appreciated.

LOVE this air purifier. I moved into a gut rehabbed apartment in a 140 year old building, so I was a little concerned about air quality (old vents, etc.). Set up was quick, easy, idiot-proof! Within a few minutes of turning the unit on, it assesed the air quality and went to work. It was at 62%, not good! I love that the display indicates three levels/types of particles in the air. I ran it at maximum until it acheived 100% good air quality. O Max the fan was a little loud, but at law and medium the sound is barely perceptible. Very happy with my purchase.

Keep it on auto and it stays on low till its needs to go higher. Start cooking in the kitchen and the filter kicks on high. Set and forget. It will take care of the air quality

Works as it should. Little noisy when it’s on high speed but only happens occasionally. Replacement filters are expensive!

It's fun to watch this thing go to work and clean our air. I have no complaints and our allergies from indoor allergens have become much better.

This was a very great purchase! I would definitely recommend this product. Its my very first air purifier but certainly wont be my last. Its very easy to operate as well!

My wife loves this air purifier. It’s easy to operate and does its job extremely well. After having one for a week, we decided to buy a second for the back of the house. Her allergies and sleep have improved tremendously. Only negatives as of this writing is the replacement filters are out of stock at shark and run around 100 dollars each. The filters should last 9-10 months with all day use.

This is a great buy. During that red smoke. Orange haze that hit nyc. This worked like a charm. Go out and buy one

We were looking for good price and great quality. We got everything we needed!

Pretty solid air purifier. Easy to assemble. Have this in a 1200+ sqft space and it definitely has made a different in air quality and smell. Erases any trace odor of two cats and two dogs. It typically reads 100% but on bad air quality days (Phoenix) with the windows open it drops and catches up accordingly. Havent had to clean the filters yet, but looks easy enough. OEM filters are a little difficult to come by, but there are plenty of 3rd party options that fill the gap in availability. Its quiet, hardly notice that its on with the auto setting.
