I have used almost every imaginable vacuum there is, including whole hose systems (iI am contractor). The biggest problem all most all uprights is the cannot get under furniture. This model allows you to have two in one with great suction and filtering. I spoke with a pest control tech who brought up the fact that the reason bed bugs are making a come back is partially due to people not vacuuming under beds (everyone bought a dyson upright). I highly recommend this product for value and features.

Wonderful vacuum. It is easy to use and very light weight. Has no problem getting into small areas and does very well with picking up everything including dog hair. First time using the Shark product and very happy with the purchase.

This vacuum has the best suction of any vacuum I've ever used. It is also easy to take apart to empty . So far it's never clogged.

I've seen some of the commercials for the Shark vacuums over time and didn't believe them. However, my son and daughter-in-law purchased a Shark for their home and loved it. So, when we needed a new vacuum that would take care of hardwood floors and two types of carpet, we bought a Shark. It has lived up to its advertising so far and very easy to use on stairs, upholstery and more. We are very, very happy with it.

This is a excellent vacuum. It’s got high power suction. Works great on my carpet and bare floors. I love how your switch can change to carpet or bare floors. You can detach the center to bring with you to vacuum the stairs. It’s like a mini vacuum. I bought because I rent and our carpet is old. It has lots of allergens. Worked great. Highly recommend

It's great-easy, powerful, compact!; the best I've ever used. Don't know why U never tried this brand before now.

This replaced a similar Shark vacuum that had worn out. This version is lighter to carry up and down stairs. It does a good job with pet hair and kitty litter. I like the light on the wand, when you pull it out to use it. Very nice vacuum, overall.

I have previously had an Oreck. On the tile floor it just scattered dirt around. I had to buy a cordless vac for the tile. I researched the Shark vacuum for awhile and purchased one. I am very impressed with it. I couldn't have asked for a more versatile vacuum. It goes everywhere and cleans top to bottom. I would recommend this to everyone.

This is the best vacuum that I've ever owned. Takes care of pet hair anywhere. I've researched other companies and it seems you have to pay lots more for a vacuum capable of dealing with pet hair so well. I've never owned a Dyson (but seriously considered one until I saw the price for their "Animal" vacuum…got a nice sale price on the Shark), but I don't feel that I'm lacking anything with this Shark. I've heartily recommended it to family and friends.

I’ve owned a lot of different vacuum cleaners and this one is great! It’s a lot lighter and easier to use than my old Electrolux(which I loved). The suction is great and the removable wand is great.

Easier to use than my Dyson. More options also with the ability to convert from an upright to a canister and just as much suction power.

We are very impressed with this shark vacuum. The brush and the suction really pulls the dirt out and leaves the pill up. This is a very light and easy to use and easily to take a part and get under beds, furniture, and up high and has the attachments on the vacuum. We also like the ease of emptying the dirt out.

This vacuum is simply amazing!! We had a good vacuum that we paid a lot of money for but we got a golden retreaver and needed something to clean furniture better. We saw an infomercial and thought we would try it. We used out vacuum girst and the shark after and were discusted at how much our old vacuum didnt pick up. This vacuum is awesome!

I thought my carpets were pretty clean until I used my Shark. I was surprised how powerful this product is. The dust has been reduced in my house. I also love the attachments. I was able to reach the ceiling and corners effortlessly. It also works well on high pile carpet. This was a great purchase.

My wife and I were very pleased with this product. Light weight, easy to control and assembles within 10 minutes.

Been needing a new vacuum for awhile.wanted one that had alot of power and portability.All i can say is this is it.I have had others that said thier product did this or that .well this delivers on all claims.noticed a differance right away.deep. cleans and none of that after smell of dust when your done.yes its pricey but you get what you pay for.wife said wishes we would of gotten one along time ago.we had friends try it out and they went and bought one also.

Light, powerful, and maneuverable, the Shark Rotor vacuum is by far the best I have owned in the last 5 years!

We needed a strong vacuum cleaner for my business and this has been perfect. We have to vacuum a lot of either just-cleaned or freshly installed carpets, sometimes with a lot of pet hair, and this vacuum has been terrific so far! It gets almost everything on one pass. It's very easy to set up--basically snap two parts together, remove a little tape and you're all set. The suction power is great, and it's very easy to empty. It's fairly light for a vacuum this powerful, but still has some heft to it so be careful if you're taking it up and down stairs. The only knock against it is price--it's a lot of vacuum for the money, but likely more than most people need so be sure you're not 'over-buying' a vacuum you don't need. This is probably overkill for a small apartment that only gets vacuumed once a week or every couple of weeks. Still, it's a great vacuum and Shark makes quality products, so at least feel secure you're getting what you pay for!

I really, really like the vacuum. It works well on my hardwood floors. I only have one complaint so far. The hose is way too short. I would like to have an extension hose.

I bought this vacuum as a Christmas gift for my son and daughter-in-law. The stair cleaning option works well, and the regular power head, unbelievable. They had just had their carpets cleaned a couple of months prior and the amount of dirt/carpet fuzz was amazing. The hard floor function worked well on their tile floor, but I didn't try the floor duster feature. I have been wanting to buy this vacuum for myself for about a year now, this was the perfect chance for me to try it out on my Christmas visit to see them. My only reservation for purchasing it for myself, as an upright it is extremely heavy to push, even my son, who is a big guy commented on it. I think if I buy one for myself, I will end up using it on the caddy as a canister.
