Great price on sale i5 256GB and good ram. Got it for the wife to update old laptop for her hobbies. She loved it, way faster then old one. I tell friends this is the one to buy on sale.

Works super smooth. Build quality feels plastic but doesn't affect performance. May be that's also the reason it's very light.

I BOUGHT THIS TO REPLACE A 12 YEAR LAPTOP THAT DIED ON ME. I SHOPPED AROUND AND THIS WAS THE BEST DEAL I FOUND. I ORDER ONLINE FOR IN STORE PICK UP. IT CAME IN A DAY EARLIER THEN ESTIMATE. IT WAS EASY TO SET UP. IT TOOK A WHILE TO RUN ALL THE UPDATES BUT THAT IS NORMAL. I WAS SURPRISED HOW MUCH LIGHTER THIS ONE IS.

I love this computer. I have 5 kiddos and. Accidents happen and they have dropped or stepped on my laptop more than once and it still works perfectly! I play games and do work on it with no issues switching between the two.

This computer has been amazing. I love the fingerprint opening option so I don’t have to type in a passcode all the time. It is user friendly and has plenty of storage for what I need. The screen is the perfect size and offers split screen for viewing more than one thing at a time.

To be honest, I am somewhat disappointed in my HP LAPTOP. I had my stepson choose it for me, because he is a "computer expert", and he knows more than me. My main concern may seem petty, but for an old, half blind, computosaur like me, it is not. The lettering on the keyboard is so lightly etched into each key, it is necessary for me to tilt the keyboard nearly upright to see the keyboard. Also, the touchpad is very problematic. Scrolling is guess your best. Sometimes you push the pad and dragged. or use the miniscule arrows on scroll bar. Or use the arrow keys. And the arrow keys are another STUPID (let's be cool, we are HP) design flaw. The EAST/WEST arrows are proper sized. The NORTH/SOUTH keys are extra small for some STUPUD reason. None of my criticisms are directed towards BEST BUY. You all are truly the BEST. Thanks for listening.

Really nice computer. Seems to run smooth and fast so far. Screen is really nice. 2 cons: The quality of the shell leaves a little to be desired (rough edges where panels meet). The touchpad can be a little goofy.

This is a terrific computer. I have been on Zoom and used it from a hotel room without any problems. I am finding the keys a bit difficult to read so I added a wireless keyboard which solved that problem. It was a lot of computer for the money and I'm happy that I bought it.

Specs for the money are pretty good, featuring a decent Intel processor with usable integrated graphics, a decent 1080p display for watching content (though I do wish it could be brighter), and decent enough speakers. Battery life is good too for what it is. Keyboard is good to type on too which plenty of travel and a quiet mechanism, would be better supplemented with backlighting but this model doesn’t have that option, but not a dealbreaker by any means. And the fingerprint reader seems accurate and responsive, a nice value-add. I will say the webcam quality can be better, a less whiny fan sound if at all possible, and perhaps not as flimsy of a chassis design. Granted some things for cost cutting are due to the price of the machine overall, but are worth pointing out.

Its my everything computer. Handle work like a horse, and even able to some light gaming on it (no, not bejeweled). I always choose HP computers.

Great replacement for a crashed desktop. The best buy associate was more than helpful in recommending this PC and several others, based on my needs. Has the power to use an Adobe photo program and other tasks. Could have another USB port on the opposite side; the two installed are close and do not allow for side by side USB male plugs in some instances. There is a USB-C port on the opposite side, though, and I have a hub and adapters. I put additional sticky "bumpers" to allow for more airflow and use a cooling pad. Audio sounds a bit tinny, but ok. I plug in existing speakers and it's much better. Upgradable to Windows 11 if and when I want it. Overall, a "5" rating for my needs.

as chrome browsers continue to gain favor there will always be the need for windows platform it dominates bussiness/student productivity. HP 15.6 i5 8gb/256gb storage 820001US covers whatever platform running with windows and reminds you of the need for laptop around $400-$450 that performs easily with laptops twice the cost. the browser glut of student models has made HP laptop 15.6 super value, have used for weeks and yet to find any hiccup. IPS DISPLAY is excellent.

So far this computer has everything I need. It is easy to use and set up. I got it for going back to school. I seems to be fast enough for everything I need.

I was looking for a new laptop and had to choose among so many brands. I found this and never regretted it!
