Great keyboard and cover! It's just a lil heavy

I enjoy this folio so much! I researched for days on which Folio was best since I wanted one that was removable, back lit, and protective. There's not many on the market so I decided to go with this one. I like how quickly you can take off the keyboard but how sturdy it is when it's on.
The biggest con is how much weight this adds to the iPad. It weighs pretty close to my 15 inch MacBook Pro with the iPad + keyboard folio, which is annoying since I wanted to travel "lighter" but ended up traveling with similar weight, just smaller in size.
All in all, compared to all the other ones I tried - this one has been the best purchase for durability, price, and features.

Superb Keyboard

This is a super keyboard. It checks all the boxes. Recently got an iPad Air 2022 and got the Apple Magic Keyboard with it to the tune of $299 plus tax. I had no problem with the fact that it didn’t have much of an angle range which is something that a lot of people dislike. What annoyed me about it is that with the iPad tilted all that way back (as far as it would go), the iPad was over the numbers/special characters keys on the top row of the keyboard. My fingers hit the iPad if I was typing numbers or special characters. This was extremely annoying and made using the thing a pain.
This keyboard is really superb in every way. The trackpad is amazingly sensitive and accurate; much better than the one on the magic keyboard. The keys feel much better than the Magic Keyboard. One can type really fast on it without making mistakes.
Keyboards are a “thing” with me. They have to be “just right.” This one does that. And for half the price of the Magic Keyboard. Good job Logitech.

The Logitech Combo Touch Keyboard Folio is a game-changer for my iPad experience, seamlessly combining the convenience of a keyboard with the flexibility of a folio case. This accessory has quickly become an integral part of my daily routine, offering a perfect blend of functionality, versatility, and a premium build.
The keyboard itself is a joy to type on. The keys are well-spaced, providing a tactile and responsive feel that rivals many laptop keyboards. The backlighting feature is a thoughtful touch, making it easy to work in any lighting conditions and enhancing the overall typing experience.
The versatility of the Combo Touch is evident in its design. The detachable keyboard allows me to switch between laptop and tablet modes effortlessly, adapting to various tasks and preferences. The adjustable kickstand offers multiple viewing angles, ensuring that I can find the perfect setup for typing, watching videos, or sketching with the Apple Pencil.
The integration with the iPad is seamless, thanks to the Smart Connector, eliminating the need for Bluetooth pairing or charging. The case provides excellent protection for my iPad, and the fabric finish adds a touch of elegance to the overall design.
What truly sets the Combo Touch apart is its compatibility with the trackpad. Navigating my iPad has never been smoother, and the precision of the trackpad enhances productivity, especially when working with productivity apps or browsing the web.
As a professional who uses the iPad for both work and leisure, the Logitech Combo Touch Keyboard Folio has exceeded my expectations. It's a reliable, well-designed accessory that brings a laptop-like experience to my iPad while preserving its portability. If you're looking to elevate your iPad productivity, this folio is a must-have. Highly recommended!

This is a great detachable keyboard case that has been perfect for my use case. I love that it can be used without the extra weight of the keyboard while at the same time providing the functionality of a laptop experience when it is attached. I have had it for almost a year and have had no issues. It’s been great.

Excellent and cheaper substitute for the Magic or Smart keyboard. Provides more protection than the two mention above and all of the functions. Back lit keys, track pad and simple function keys. Love the kick stand and detachable key board.

Great keyboard. I love the backlighting and the big mouse pad. I like this keyboard better than the Apple keyboard because it protects more and it is also detachable. The stand in the back of the case is sturdy and will last. Good quality build.

Bought to help turn my iPad I bought for college into a mini laptop. Very durable and the detaching/backlit keyboard is an excellent touch. The case keeps my iPad safe from any drops and I’ve dropped it a few times.

I like Logitech products and this is easy to snap the Ipad in and go. Everything was intuitive and easy to use, it looked good, but it made it really heavy. So much so that it was hard to tell the difference (other than size) what the the benefit would be to this combo over my macbook pro. I know a lot of people love their tablet+keyboard conversion and the options it gives them but I decided to just use the tablet by itself. It'd clearly make a good option if I didn't already have a macbook.

I purchased the Logitech folio touch for work and it has been an essential part of my workflow as a creative (product designer). I operate a design studio and have purchased previous logitech products. The keyboard design is an ideal solution for typing and transforming the case into a serviceable laptop. however, the design isn’t durable. I purchased the keyboard in 2021 with a warranty protection from Best Buy. Shortly after the warranty expired, the keyboard shorted out. After many reviews the consensus is many of these devices fail after a year or two years of usage. logitech only covers one year of service. There are no replacement parts for this device , as a result any issues such as worn cables, or ribbons over time can’t be replaced. The only solution is a new replacement keyboard. I spoke with a Logitech agent and unfortunately they provided little help as the device was outside the 1 year warranty. I expect more from a brand that makes peripherals for Apple devices. Apple offers extended care warranties for their devices. At least 2-3 year warranty.
Pros: A budget friendly option compared to Magic Keyboard for iPad Pro 11-inch.
Provides much of the same benefits such as backlit keyboard and smart connecter requiring no additional power source. Give your tablet a protected case and laptop like experience.
Cons: Durability -The silicon casing eventually loses shape around the tablet creating an unsecured fit.
Sometimes the tablet glitches and the keyboard input fails to register.
The device should last 2-3 years. The warranty only covers one year. even with a best warranty it only gives you an additional year of coverage.
Considering the price of the accessory; It should last beyond a year before tablet touchpad and keyboard stops working.

This case/keyboard combo does everything I was looking for and then some.
It’s a bit cheaper than the Magic Keyboard from Apple but it where the Magic Keyboard lacks this makes up for. Mainly having function keys where the Magic Keyboard does not have any at all.
It’s actually a full-body case that you slip the iPad into so it’s protecting the back and the edges of the device.
Also you can remove the keyboard via the magnets and go into “tablet mode” and still will have the kick stand to keep the tablet up without holding it.
It also uses the Smart Connector pins to connect to the keyboard to keep the 2 pieces together and when they are connected the iPad is what is giving the keyboard power.
The keys are backlit and you can control the brightness via the function keys.
If you have Apple Pencil 2 don’t worry there is a space up to magnetically place the pencil for charging but sadly no flap to keep it in place if knocked around in a bag. But don’t let that stop you.

Logitech Combo Touch - iPad Air 5th Gen - great

For my needs, the Logictech Combo Touch detachable keyboard is great. The keyboard works well with the Apple iPad Air 5th generation tablet. It works best on a firm flat surface. I appreciate using the backlit keyboard during low light conditions. It is powered from the iPad and that feature works well. Depending on the tasks I am working on, I attach the keyboard to the iPad to use as a laptop or detach the keyboard to use the iPad as a tablet. The case back has a flap that can adjust for optimal screen viewing. Since the keyboard also functions as a cover, I avoid compressing the keyboard against the iPad screen. So far, I am pleased with detachable keyboard case.

This product is much more useful that the Apple Magic product. You can detach the keyboard and still have an excellent protective case for your iPad in tablet mode for reading or easy browsing or email. It is also less expensive than the apple product. It is a little heavy, but so is the Apple keyboard.

This was a must have for the iPad. Was really torn between this and the magic keyboard. I ended up going this route for the added protection. The keyboard is nice and the case protects really well. Having my apple pencil accessible was also a great feature. This is an updated version of the other logitech keyboard/case combo, and this one is way better (I had bought the other one first, and returned it for this). The increase in quality and detachable keyboard is worth the few extra bucks. This thing is super versatile and I couldn’t imagine using my iPad as a mini computer without it .

Best Ipad Case with keyboard

I love this style case. It offers everything one could need.
This case is a fabric material keyboard case with a kick stand. It has a very premium feel to it. I like that I can watch media on just the case with kickstand and it sits very solid. When I click in the keyboard I can type and use the glass trackpad to multi task more with the Ipad. Also it has back lighting so I can see what I am typing at night. All of this and no chargers. I feel like this is as close to the S.....e line of tablets as you get. Except there is all of the IOS Apps within this ecosystem that bridge the gap much better from productivity to media consumption. The only Cons are I wish there were color choices and a way to mix the keyboard and case for more personalization. Also the kickstand does start to bend when pulling it out so that may not hold up well over time. Definitely loving it.

I recently purchased the Logitech smart Keyboard Case for my iPad Air, and I must say, it has exceeded my expectations! The sleek design and perfect fit for my iPad Air make it look like a natural extension of the device. The keyboard itself is comfortable to type on, with well-spaced keys that provide a satisfying tactile response.
The case offers excellent protection for my iPad, and the sturdy build quality ensures that it will withstand daily wear and tear. The added convenience of having a keyboard with my iPad makes it much easier to be productive on the go. I no longer need to carry a separate keyboard, as it's seamlessly integrated into the case.
The backlit keys are a game-changer for me, especially when working in dimly lit environments. It's a small but significant detail that sets this keyboard case apart from others. The adjustable viewing angles are also a thoughtful feature, allowing me to find the perfect angle for comfortable typing and media consumption.
Pairing the keyboard with my iPad Air was a breeze, and the battery life is impressive. I can go for days without having to recharge it, making it ideal for long trips or busy workdays.
If I had to find any drawbacks, it would be that the case adds a bit of weight to the iPad. However, the benefits of having a functional keyboard outweigh this slight inconvenience.
Overall, the Logitech Keyboard Case for iPad Air is a fantastic investment for anyone looking to boost their productivity while keeping their iPad protected. Whether you're a student, professional, or simply an iPad enthusiast, this keyboard case will undoubtedly enhance your iPad experience. Highly recommended!

I needed a keyboard for my iPad. At first I tried the Apple Magic Keyboard and I hated it. It was too heavy and I could not use my iPad in portrait mode. So I decided to give this keyboard a try. I absolutely love it. It provides more protection than the Apple one and I am still able to use it in portrait mode. The keyboard and mousepad are easy to work as well once connected to the iPad. It is also light and durable. Would certain purchase again.

I tried a few different keyboards including the brydge air max + and brydge max+. This is the clear winner. Smart connector, backlit keys and versatility! The others do a decent job of converting your ipad into a laptop, this one reminds you what an ipad is. cant recomment it enough.

Solid keyboard case. The detaching keyboard is nice because I can still keep the protective part of the case on when I want to simply use it without the keyboard, and it goes back on with ease. Much better protection and far better value than the Apple magic keyboard.
Only complaint would be the unnecessary “lock” button in the upper right corner of the keyboard. I keep hitting it accidentally and turning off my keyboard without meaning to.

I love this setup! Having the full keyboard with the smart connection combined with the ability to have a strong case when using as a tablet was important. I was a bit skeptical about not having additional security for the Apple Pencil but so far so good. The only "gripe" is that it's a bit of a pain to open/separate to use but doesn't deter me from considering it a near-perfect case
