The good: Battery life, display, and portability. The bad: 32bit OS I couldn't get the Linux apps (strangely I wanted to run native Firefox) I wanted to run on this because it's a 32bit system. On sale, $399, the price to value is nice. MSRP is far too high. The ram is great, the storage is not. The processor is middle ground for 2021. The keyboard is decent and the pen is easy to use. The pen I received in the box did not work. It wouldn't display any information about the charge or register any taps. I exchanged it back at Best Buy from an already open-box system. The new pen worked on the first touch.

Nice Chromebook . . . Bad support from HP.

I had the Chromebook for about a month. It worked great. Touche screen worked. Chrome OS was really cool and lightweight. Stylus was awesome. Then mysteriously the stylus stopped working. The touchscreen worked, just not the stylus. Which was half the reason that I bought the machine. So, I contacted HP Support. Which was a nightmare. I spoke to someone overseas. Who ran me through hard resetting and power washing the machine (which is factory default). That did not help. Then he transferred me to a message that said that they were closed. I contacted HP chat support and requested a new stylus. They seemed confused. They did not appear to know that there was a stylus offered with this model. Regardless, they asked me to download login me in onto my windows computer or mobile phone. This was "So we could continue troubleshooting." Why they would need access to my files on my phone or windows computer is beyond me. I refused and ended up arguing with HP Support on Facebook for several days. In the end, I have a new Chromebook with a working stylus. I just hate that it had go down like that. Best Buy has been awesome in replacing the Chromebook. HP needs to work on its customer support.

I’m really loving this chrome book so far. I have used the Lenovo duet and the asus CM3 up until the release of this tablet and there is no comparison. The build quality is massively betters, stylus is better, performance is better. I have yet to find a major downside as a detachable keyboard chromebook. Thought I would hate the blue color but it also has pleasantly surprised me. Hp has a winner here and it meets/exceeds all my expectations and needs.

Made the switch from Apple and it was the best decision ever! It's perfect for what I use it for. All my work is web based/cloud based and I wanted a smaller screen so I have had no complaints, although the keyboard can get annoying when you use the device on your lap. Got this on sale. At $399 this is unbeatable, at full price it's too expensive for what it offers. I'm especially impressed with the stylus (something I never used before and now it's all I use) and the sound that comes out if this small thing. When I use it with no breaks the battery lasts 6-7 hours before I have to charge it, but it charges very quickly. Would definitely recommend!

If you are looking for a Tablet / Laptop or 2 in 1 then you cannot go wrong with this machine as long as it is on a discount. It is a fantastically built machine with a Premium feel. Accessories are just good enough to pass as the only accessories you would need for this device (Keyboard, Pen, Back Cover/Stand) The Device is powerful enough for an internet machine, and can even do light to medium gaming using Android Games, You will not be able to play every game but likely 90% of the Catalog of Games, not because it is limited in Power, but because not all games are available for Chromebooks yet. Expandable Storage is a great extra. For those of you wondering, this is not an LTE enabled device, even though some of the marketing and specs say otherwise. The screen is best part of this machine, it is not OLED but it is a Laminated IPS with great colors. Speakers are somewhat good for Speech and some Music but depending on the content they can be Loud or very Quiet.

I have love hate relationship with Chromebook's, this one was no exception. I may actually return it today. I think the issue is me using iPad as well which is in a whole different ball game. HP 11" is a fantastic device, quality is just out of this world, Keyboard is comfy and screen looks sharp. Back stand is very creative so overall on the looks I think this thing should get a 5 Star. however when it comes to performance it lacks, all Chromebook's lack. At least the semi budget ones I tried. They are a bit slow, it takes some time to get used to the overall OS especially how to add different users and keep things tight. I love that I has 2 USB-Cs as well. So if you need this for a single user web browsing then look no further, for anything else then spend a bit more to get some of processing speed.

Finally a Chromebook worthy of replacing Android tablets. Fast, an snappy performance. Really love the detachable keyboard and the back stand. Didn't care much for the pen. Would be nice if there was a audio jack, but at lease it has 2 USB C ports (1 for charging, other for audio dongle.) Only suggestions a 128GB version and 12-13 in version, would be nice so I could offline music and videos.

This Chromebook tablet does everything I need it to do and more. Battery life has been excellent, writing on the tablet works well, the screen is easy on the eyes. I got a great deal on this and for the price I paid, I can say it is definitely worth it. I really love that it'll get updates until 2029 and I plan on using it a lot until then...

I've been playing with the HP Chromebook X2 I purchased today, which is by FAR the cheapest (in cost) computing device I have ever purchased. I've paid more for shipping a computer than I paid for this, including the detachable keyboard and stylus. My Google Pixel Slate Core i5 finally gave out, so I bought this for about 1/4 what I paid for the Slate, plus it's proprietary detachable keyboard and active stylus. I was concerned the Qualcomm processor would make running Crouton (basically a Debian Linux container) difficult or have significantly lower performance than the i5, but neither seem to be the case so far. Having 8 GB of RAM was a must for me, and it seems to have paid off on this device. Chrome OS has come a LONG way since I first bought a device with this OS. There are still some relatively minor quirks and bugs, especially in the GUI when detaching or reattaching the keyboard, but the tools to report or mitigate these are also easy to access. Chrome OS has frequent bug fixes and feature releases, so I'm confident in its capability. If you can get rid of Windows, and aren't into the Apple ecosystem, this is the device to get. I am writing this in an armchair with this on my lap, and it's perfectly comfortable and competent. The button layout and small keyboard are the weak points, but nothing that I haven't been able to master in mere hours. The magnetic, rechargeable stylus is a nice touch, as is the separate, detachable magnetic kickstand/rear cover with a smooth infinite-position hinge that operates from 0 to about 170 degrees. The cameras seem terrible in this dark room, especially given the lack of LED flash, however I really couldn't care less. I almost never make video calls or take photos with my computing devices anyway. Everything from installing The GIMP to accessing my Windows 11 desktop workstation via Chrome Remote Desktop has been flawless thus far. It's deep integration with internet sharing, calling, texting, and receiving notifications for my Pixel 6 Pro is starting to rival that of Apple in terms of individual features. Its developer-friendly options and access to the Linux container are why I chose this device over one of their offerings.

HP Premium 11" Chromebook Tablet Device

This is a Premium high-end HP Chromebook with upscale design and build specifications. I have had no performance problems in 5 months of use: no mechanical/hardware nor Chrome software issues. I have owned several Chromebooks over the years, so I knew what I was getting with the Chrome OS. That said, I must conclude that this is not the Chromebook for me. I should have stayed with a clamshell design and larger screen/keyboard. This is not to fault the device. It would be unfair to ding the rating based upon my personal preferences alone. It is still a 4–5-star Chromebook and is one of the few, (and likely the best), of the niche Chromebook Tablet devices out there. Recommended with 4.5 stars for its specific-use case/form factor and design, and for the excellence of build quality and materials.

    Great Surface-Like Tablet for ChromeOS

Pros: * great build quality (tablet seems like it's all metal) * bright screen * comes with stylus and keyboard * runs relatively cool * processor adequate for several tabs on Chrome, along with multitasking (terminal, pip video playing, etc. ...all at the same time) * form factor and processing power is unique in the chromebook world (bigger and more powerful than the duet, has keyboard solution that previous 10"+ chromebook tablets had in the past Cons: * if you're coming from surface devices, the detachable kickstand (rather than integrated) adds some slight heft * storage seems quite slow (maybe due to EMMC?) * processor is adequate (better than duet), but does feel very occasionally sluggish * on uneven surface (lap, pillow, etc.), keyboard makes clicking sound when applying pressure beneath or sides of of touchpad (sounds like a click, but doesn't always register as one) Other: * Linux on ChromeOS works for applications like LibreOffice, Inkscape and some programming tools

Pros: Great, high quality feel, reasonable weight, excellent battery, bright screen, lots of RAM, good keyboard, excellent trackpad, and kickstand. It's a good deal at 399, and better at 379. Cons: meh performance with stutters; it could be snappier, no internal stylus storage (the magnet is good, but it's not a garage). Mediocre black levels on the screen, no ability to adjust the screen from vivid to a more natural tone (nit picking). The included charger could be a better form factor. Also, the first one I received had a defective Wacom, so it did not work properly with the stylus, and had to be exchanged. Either way, it is a very good device at 400 or less!

I purchased 2. The key was when the price dropped a significant amount. They are easy to setup with one key concern: you need a strong/ full Wi-Fi connection. If it's weak, the setup process will fail. Outside of that, they are easy to use, and fast with excellent video and touch screen.

Excellent device (with one bad feature).

Let me get the bad feature out first, because it is the only one: the speakers volume is too low, even when set to 100%, and this is something that Google and OEMs need to address (the Acer Spin 713 also has low volume). Aside from that bad feature, the HP Chromebook X2 11 is a premium device with a gorgeous, bright display, the kickstand and keyboard are solid, with good magnets; when attaching the keyboard it makes that nice sound like the Surface Pro keyboard does, but unlike the Surface Pro's keyboard, the X2 11's keyboard has a magnet to keep the tablet and keyboard attached when closed, and the kickstand attaches strong and secure to the back of the tablet. I highly recommend the HP Chromebook X2 11, because it is a great device, but do note that it's volume, even when set to 100% is very low, like most Chromebooks (the Pixelbook has excellent speakers, but it's expensive and it's running on old hardware).

This is the best tablet I have owned. A premium build, comes with a keyboard that is actually usable, great battery life, and the chrome os makes it more like a pc than a tablet. I have found it to be really useful, especially when I don't want to lug my laptop around. I like the magnetically attached stylus also.

The HP Chromebook X 211 is a premium device. Some might say that it mimics a Surface device or an iPad. The HP Chromebook X 211 runs Chrome OS (A chrome book/ Andriod tablet hybrid). The HP Chromebook X 211 includes a stylus and keyboard, and backover case. The stylus makes the HP Chromebook X 211 different from other hybrid devices in this Chromebook category for mimicking a second-generation Apple Pencil's charging. Accuracy of the stylus lacks what that second-gen Apple pencil offers. The HP pen charges magnetically on the side of the device. Suppose you can acquire the HP Chromebook X 211 for under USD 400. I feel this is a good investment if looking for a chrome book that could do more. Take in mind the specks; of a much Pricer, chrome book does more. Last I'm thrilled with this purchase. I have been using it for the past two months. Mostly Microsoft's OneNote. I commend HP for making a device like this and hope other companies will to in the future
