This pc seems great right out of the box, but on day 2 of owning the pc it began to repeatedly crash when doing anything. I’ve done everything I can software wise to upset the pc and all of its drivers/windows and run diagnostic and I am getting a fatal hardware error with the memory.

Im new to pc gaming and I want to start off by saying I’m thoroughly impressed. This pc is amazing. I’ve owned it for roughly eight months. Not a single issue has arose. I’ve done a few minor upgrades (sata ssd and 32GB of ram). The issues i have with it is for this price point there should be 2 slots for M.2 ssd instead you’re stuck upgrading to a Hdd or a Sata ssd as your secondary drive. It’s not that big of deal, it’s just me bringing light to the things I think they could improve on. The 16GB of ram it comes with is standard in a prebuilt. I think that HP has knocked this out of the park, but I think if they wanted to take it to another level they should make it a standard to run 32GB of ram. The omen gaming hub makes it easy for a new pc gamer like myself to monitor my system vitals and dabble in a little over clocking. The cable management is very nice for a prebuilt system. They also make it very easy to upgrade and clean with the quick access glass panel. Very well built machine and would recommend to anyone that just wants to get their pc and fire up some games. Hp has my money if I buy another prebuilt in the future.

I bought this for sim racing. It might be overkill for iRacing but wanted to have the ability to use three 1080 monitors (which combined have more pixels than one 1440 but less than one 4K). For now, I’m using it with a 4K TV in my rig that I had been using with my PS5 (playing mainly GT Sport). I’m getting around 75 FPS at 4K in iRacing (the TV is only 60 hz). I’ve seen tests of the 3060ti in iRacing with three 1080 monitors getting over 100 FPS. The two issues I see people complaining about with this PC are heat issues and an inability to recover from sleep mode. I think these are both overblown. On the first issue, I’m seeing processor temps with iRacing mostly in the mid-70s, with the video card in the 50s. I have seen the processor get into the 80s but the fan kicked up and cooled it off quickly (and the fan isn’t really that loud, yes it got louder but it was still pretty quiet). And this is what people are missing: the Ryzen 5000 series is apparently intended to run hot with the 5800X having a max temp of 90 according comments by a director of technical marketing from AMD, on Reddit (Google it if you do doubt me). He also said temps of 70-85 with a “midrange” cooler such as the smaller liquid cooler in this PC are normal, and guess what, that’s what I’m seeing! I think the concerns are driven by the ease of seeing the temps with the Omen software combined with an outdated concept of what is “normal” or “acceptable”. So stay calm and game on! On the second issue, my computer wakes up fine. Perhaps this was fixed via a software update but I haven’t seen the issue. Finally, in my opinion as an “older” middle-aged gamer, this PC has an attractive design and is not as cheesy as some of the other prebuilts out there. I’m not looking to create a tecnho club atmosphere with all of the RGB lights in my gaming rig… So overall, I’m very happy with this PC for my use at least.

I've had this one for 4 months bought it specifically because of the price and the fact that at the time the 3060Ti was rare. I needed the 5800x that comes with it for workflow purposes as cloud structure computing is something I've been learning. I game very little, but when I do it stays quiet for the most part. No issues with my build so far. If I had one gripe it'd be that its difficult to add more fans to keep it running cool.

Bought as a replacement for my 7 year old Asus that finally died. Man have I been missing out on performance, it's quite fast at most tasks. Although I will note the dreaded HP sleep mode that bricks the PC until your forced to pull the power plug to bring it back, thanks to other reviews I was able to figure this out. And wow does it have crap cooling, I didn't really notice any issues until a month prior to the warranty expiring that the PC would just completely shut down as if the power cord was pulled (typically on boot up of some games). It would do this with zero warnings or errors to even point you in a direction. HP support only cared to try software updates. I inevitably figured out it's due to the CPU temps spiking too fast for the slow HP software to notice and ramp the fans up in time. I made a temporary fix by flipping the rear exhaust fan to make it act as an intake to help bring cooler air to the AIO. Bottom line, great prebuilt but horrible cooling

Very solid PC build out of the box. Does everything needed and can handle pretty much any game you'd wanna run on it, stock. 1 star off because I bought like new open box and it has a weird freezing issue when it goes into sleep mode occasionally.

This pre-built desktop is great for the average person, this is a great midrange pc that can game most triple A games. Id recommend using this desktop with a 1080p - 1440p monitor. This desktop is reliable and can become a great highrange desktop if you invest more money into it. All parts are able to be used in other builds.

So far, it’s been great! As other reviews have mentioned, I do get a strange sleep issue, but mine is not the same as some of the reviews (which say it won’t wake back up from sleep). Mine has the opposite program. It won’t go to sleep. When I click sleep, it will go black and sleep but in a one second, or even less, it will light right back up and turn on at my login screen. If I leave it there for a couple minutes it’ll end up going to sleep from inactivity, but it’s just strange that it won’t go to sleep when I prompt it to. Not a huge issue. I just click it and walk away. By the time I come back, it’s asleep. Other than that, no issues! Games have been running great! SUCH a huge upgrade from what I was using. The RGB features and neat and the case has good build quality! All the wiring looked fantastic and nothing came unplugged or anything that I had to manually fix or plug in. Has some extra spots to put in upgrades for things like Harddrive’s and extra RAM. It was the same price as comparable smaller brand names from n3w3gg.. so I figured it would be nicer to have HP/bigger brand support/quality behind the purchase for the same specs.

Really like the machine. very quiet, and fast. Only issue I have is it runs very hot, even when doing nothing much, which I later found it's a common issue with the Ryzen 7 5800x ? CPU temperature usually hovering at closer to about 70+C. (high 60s normally). I would had thought liquid cooler would had addressed any CPU heat issue. Running the fan at TURBO only seems to reduce CPU temperature by 1-2 degree.

Well worth the buy. I’d recommend it for everyone for at least next 2-5 years. The video card and anything can be upgraded 3610 ti is actually better than the newer video card. I have external 8 terabyte and 2 terabyte 3.1 gen 1 playing games and mods and everything works great. The external hard drive even handles Battlefield 2040 and newer games without using internal space speeds great. You can also change the in eternal lights to any color cycles and speeds or just leave plan. I turn mine off when gaming

Overall great value great price but there is one thing I dislike about it and it’s minor but still it’s a bit inconvenient, when not in use the sleep mode outs the computer to sleep but to wake it up you have to disconnect the plug to turn it back on because if you try to resume it by moving the mouse or even pressing the shut off bottom it doesn’t function. Although aside from that it’s a great purchase and it was a really good value.

Purchased this pc a few days ago and I highly recommend to anybody who wants great performance at a reasonable price. The main game that I play is Warzone and this pc does not disappoint. The gameplay is smooth and the graphics are excellent. Coming from a PS5, I feel the difference between this and the PS5 are as drastic as moving from the PS4 to the PS5. This is partly due to the additional enhancements that you get with PC like the FOV slider, 1440p, etc. The textures load seamlessly unlike on PS5. Between the Omen gaming hub (used to overclock memory and CPU, among other tweaks like adjustment of case RGB lighting) and GeForce Experience which will automatically configure the optimal graphical settings for most games at touch of a button, its ready to go out of the box. I paired this system with two Omen 27i monitors and connected both with Display Port to enable G-Sync. I used an HDMI cable at first, which resulted in choppy play. I play warzone with my PS5 controller with no emulation or third-party software needed.

Overall this model of the HP Omen is a good mid gaming pc for the price, probably the best value you’ll get. Main note is that with what many other’s say, it does fairly run warm to hot. And you’ll be able to tell once the fans start going off like a jet engine. But it’s mainly from the stock fans, replacing the liquid cooler radiator fan and rear 92mm fan with another brand like Noctua improved both temps and noise levels. You could also pay some more for higher up graphic cards for the hp omen but eventually the higher end cards will be comparing to the lower end next generation cards so for 1440p high settings gameplay you can’t go wrong with it.

For the price the desktop comes at, I think this is a very good gaming desktop. the specs meet my expectations with its 3060ti and ryzen 7 5800X. the games i have tested are destiny 2, assassins creed valhalla, doom eternal, and halo infinite. These games run perfectly with medium-high settings. the only thing i would say is upgrade the ram from 16 to 32 gb but overall its worth the buy.

For the price it fulfills every need I have. The 3060ti works well for me. It does run a little hot and I will be upgrading the fans. I would like to add more intake fans but not sure if it’s possible with the tower design.
