Great computer with inconsistent lighting controls

Nice system, although I prefer a nice black monolith instead of RGB lighting. Normally I build my own systems but given the price of graphics cards that isn't an option these days. A couple of minor complaints:
1. The large square flashes when it's asleep. I can't find a way to turn that off and it's annoying for a computer that's in our guest room.
2. When the LED control software is updated sometimes it doesn't maintain your previous configuration.
3. LED Control software keeps gaining and losing the ability to control the LEDs on the memory. Fortunately, I turned those off when I had it at one point and they haven't turned back on since.
4. No way to control the LEDs along the side of the graphics card. They're not super bright and mostly hidden by my desk so I don't care too much.

Works fast, fairly capable. Spent way too much for it to lock up in sleep mode everytime. When it's in sleep mode too long, I have to completely unplug the tower from electricity, plug it back in and turn it on in order to use it once it's locked up in sleep mode. So I have to just shut it completely off after every use to prevent this from happening. pretty annoying.

MUST READ..., NOT WHAT PEOPLE ARE SAYING. These new Omens by HP are actually pretty sweet rigs. For us my wife needed an already assembled computer for work/ personal gaming use. This was the best option for us so her boss could pay for it. If we had a bigger budget get the ryzen 5800x with 3070 or 3080. But this is a ryxen 5800x with 3060 ti and still is no slouch. THESE ARENT THAT PROPRIETARY as everyone says they are. The BIOS is configurable once you add hardware like added extra DIMM. The kingston Fury beast works just fine. then go into BIOS and add XMP profile 1 and set to 3200 and done. Now the not so good. The case is a limiter, 1 intake fan 2 exhaust and 1 of those exhaust is pushing through the 120 AIO. you can't add a second or 3rd intake fan because of the case not allowing it without modifying and same with adding a 240 AIO because the front I/O gets in the way. Other than the case small and limited air flow, its really good. which I recommend grabbing a case. a couple fans, maybe $100 extra and this rig will last you many years.

Great gaming PC! I like how the graphics card has a bracket to secure the GPU in place (or at least I think that's what it's for)!
I love the fact that there are nice parts in this PC like the HyperX RGB ram and a Coolermaster gold-certified power supply! Definitely something you don't see in other pre-built PCs! Love HP!

Good product. A bit pricy. The build is solid. Came with win 11 and "power saving mode" took me forever to figure out it was on powersaving mode and throttling performance. Should have been on max performance from the start.

This PC was exactly what I was looking for. It’s easy to get started, it’s fast, and it plays games beautifully. I’m just a recreational gamer and this computer met all my needs. I was looking for gaming performance rather than HD picture. With all my visual in game settings on low and 1080 resolution at 240hz, this PC plays Apex Legends at 240 FPS and Warzone at 190 FPS. I did add a Noctua Chromax fan as an intake to the bottom and replaced the rear 92mm fan with the same… Under stress test the hottest the GPU has gotten is 76°C and the CPU 69°.

Fantastic pre-built for the price! Super easy to set up and has a lot of really nice features including the GPU sag bracket And RGB lights. I would have liked to see additional fans in the front panel or at least available positions to add another fan if desired. I would have also like to see a 240mm CPU cooler at the top as apposed to the single 120mm fan and radiator it comes with. Over heating has yet to be a problem but the additional ventilation would have been a nice option. Overall it’s a fantastic pre built for gaming and have plenty of room to upgrade GPU and memory

Performs graphically like it should but did get really hot the first week i had it (CPU was mid 80s to mid 90s and GPU stayed around 102 while gaming). HP says its supposed to run hot but omen software says its too hot. With elevating the case and using afterburner its dropped 10 degrees. Can't really complain for the price, its a good gaming pc just with bad airflow. Probably better computers out there for a similar price but i didnt want to wait for them to be in stock so i got this one.

Thought about building my own pc but it's way too expensive. I got a 3060ti and 16gb ram with room for 2 more sticks of ram if i want it. Everything runs smoothly and I'm able to play the newest games and stream at the same time.

Fantastic pc. Love the design, performance can melt any game I've thrown at it too. Only two issues are that the lights are kind of goofy to control. I enjoy the RPG alright but its hard to control. The RAM is on a different control and doesn't respond well. Other thing is one of the fans (I think the PSU or GPU but not sure) has developed a clicking I will need to take in to get fixed. Still, highly recommend this beast.

Overheats, fails to wake up from sleep

Been having issues from day one with this computer, it will often fail to wake up from sleep mode and I'll have to force a hard reboot w/ the power button to get it to come back, the cooling is woefully inadequate and it's shut down on me when playing intensive games many times (flight simulator, for example)
If this computer was on the cheaper side, maybe this would be excusable, but dropping 1700$ for a computer that's advertised as "VR Ready" and having the latest GPU tech to have it fail so badly so quickly is inexcusable.
The case is so small that you really can't modify it to improve the cooling in any meaningful way, especially without voiding the warranty, so I either have to return it or move it to another case, which would also void my warranty.
Research this product before you buy it, a brief google search will tell you all you need to know about it's overheating issues, wish I'd researched more myself.
Buyer beware.

This PC is very fast and runs very well. The graphics are cool and the fan doesn't over heat. The PC gets warm sometimes when you are playing for long periods of time but it doesn't overheat.
