This keyboard is honestly alot better than i wouldve thought. I already knew it was a nice keyboard to begin with but it has honestly surpassed my expectations, im especially impressed by how easy I can switch between devices with the press of a single button! Definitely a brand I’d purchase from in the future, safely knowing I wont have any regrets!

Amazing keyboard this is perfect for ppl who write stories on their laptops. This had made my writing much better and it makes me want to write everyday because of how nice it feels to use !!! Much better than the keyboard my Mac has (late 2016 MacBook bro) with that weird keyboard everyone didn’t like))

Awesome review! The MX Keys Mini TKL sounds like a game-changer for writers. It’s a total upgrade from those weird MacBook keyboards. Have you tried customizing any of its settings?

Connects easily. Works great. I already had one of their keyboards that connected to multiple devices w/ the round keys. This is very similar to that but this is backlit as well which I'm finding useful. I wish it had a fingerprint reader like the apple devices, but I understand why that would be quite difficult. I do wish it had the command center key. Not cheap.

This is a great keyboard but for one issue. If you have to pick it up and move it with your right hand (as I do almost every time I use it) you will trigger the "do not disturb' button on the upper right corner. That specific key is NOT programmable if you use this with an iPad (as I do). So I am constantly putting my phone in 'do not disturb' mode. Logitech customer support was sympathetic but could not provide a solution. Other than that this is a great keyboard.

We appreciate your honest feedback on the Logitech MX Keys Mini TKL. We understand the frustration caused by the unintended activation of the "Do Not Disturb" button, especially when using it with an iPad. We'll take your feedback into consideration for future product improvements. Thank you for your understanding.

Great little keyboard. The buttons feel good and the overall typing experience is pleasant. The keys are quiet when pressed. My only complaint is that I wish this came with the USB bolt dongle. Other than that, great keyboard.

Okay keyboard, but it has problems

I bought this keyboard instead of an Apple Magic Keyboard because this one has backlit keys. It works OK, and I like the feature that allows you to easily switch between input to my laptop or my iPhone. BUT, 2 problems: First, the backlighting of the keys goes on when your hand approaches the keyboard, but it doesn't react quickly enough. You can't turn on backlighting and just leave it on. It's kind of a weird design. More importantly, I found that I was making WAY more typos with this keyboard. I mean a LOT of typos. That might not happen to you, and in fairness, I know it may just be about my particular typing style. But this was such a constant annoyance that I sprang for the Apple Magic Keyboard, which costs about $20 more, doesn't switch back and forth between devices, and has does not have backlighting. I miss those features, but with the Apple keyboard my typos immediately stopped almost completely. There's no comparison between the two in terms of typing accuracy. I think it has to do with the shape of the keys. The Logitech keys have a pronounced, round, cup-like indentation on each key, while the Apple has a very different, very slight, shallow cupped shape to the keys. The Logitech might work for you, but it didn't for me.

Honestly, this keyboard is great- especially with the ability to utilize it for multiple screens/devices. But I didn't find myself using those options as much. The battery life is good. Response time and feel of the keyboard is exceptional, but if I had to choose between this and Apple's. I'd stick with Apple.

Build quality is excellent, easy install. The reason I didn’t give it five stars was due to the backlit part is not bright enough and price is a little high.

This keyboard replaced a previous Logitech keyboard which I use with my IPad. Great keyboard! It feels solid when typing. It allows you to connect up to three devices on bluetooth, so I use it for my laptop and tablet. My wife can use the third one for her tablet. It connects to each seamlessly. I now use my tablet all the time again, I had not realized how much I loathed using the keyboard on the screen. The only thing that bothers me is that it does not have a cover to slip it into like my old one did. I’m afraid it may get damaged when traveling, but it is pretty sturdy so hopefully it will do OK.

I personally love it. I heard someone say that it's the same price as the Magic Keyboard for MAC, BUT, this keyboard can connect to Bluetooth on 3 devices AND it has a backlight, which the Magic Keyboard does not, for the same price. So I have it paired to my iPhone, iPad and my MAC, and it's now my main keyboard for my MAC. I like the action of the keyboard, it feels great. IF you use the backlight often you'll need to charge up the keyboard, by USB-C, more often than you would another keyboard, but If I need to charge the keyboard, I charge it at night while I'm sleeping so that it'll be ready for use in the morning. I personally love this keyboard, it's great.

My job used to require I crunch numbers so the number pad on a keyboard was important. With that task delegated to a colleague, I can now use this keyboard. Three of the biggest draws for me: compact size, the emoji button is a time saver (yes, I use emoji’s quite often at work!) and the quiet keys. The emoji and mute buttons should be standard on keyboards, IMO. Design is subjective, of course. The minimal sound when typing and tactile quality of this keyboard is music to my ears. I’m not sure this keyboard is for people with large hands. So far, no Bluetooth latency with my Mac mini M1.

Lacks MacOS function keys but otherwise works well

The Mac variant of the MX keys mini uses scissor switch low profile keys, making it easily one of the more ergonomic of the wireless TKL keyboards designed for Mac currently available. It looks stylish and the use of the Logitech bolt receiver minimizes latency, especially when compared with Bluetooth or previous-generation unifying receiver connections. There are two downsides with this keyboard. First, Logitech omitted Mac specific function keys, such as mission control or app expose. Second, Logitech options and options plus remain very unstable. These software packages, along with bolt, are required to fully customize the mx keys mini and unlock useful features such as flow. Despite options plus being advertised as apple silicon compatible, it caused my Mac to overheat.

This is by far the best portable keyboard that I’ve used. I paired this with the MX Master 3S and it is amazing how much more orofuctive i have been able to be in the recent month. I have it connected to my MacBook Pro, iPad Pro, and a bolt receiver for when I use my computers at work and it has been so nice to have a consistent experience across all platforms.
