Love this key board, so much fun and accurate typing

The Logitech POP Wireless Mechanical Keyboard is for those who like the vibrant colors of life. This keyboard can be paired up with the POP mouse of the same color scheme for the ultimate duo! My sister enjoys these types of colors and I gifted her this keyboard along with the POP mouse, and she absolutely loved it. In this review, I’ll explain her thoughts on this product as well as mine. *TLDR at bottom ======== FIRST IMPRESSION: Upon opening the box, the first item you will notice is how neatly packed the keyboard is. Once you remove all the outer layer protection, you will be greeted with a vibrant and colorful keyboard. The colors used are mint, lilac, and sunshine yellow. The colors blend beautifully and complement each other well. I am not too fond of these vibrant colors but my sister who likes these colors more absolutely was amazed by the color scheme. This keyboard is completely wireless, and it works using either the included USB receiver or Bluetooth. The keyboard does take 2 triple AAA batteries to function. According to Logitech, battery life is around 36 months, which is incredible. ======= ERGONOMICS: This is a TKL(Tenkeyless) keyboard so there is no number pad on the right side. This was my first time as well as my sister’s first time using a keyboard with round keys. In short, it did take some time to get used to the round keys. Luckily, this keyboard is seriously fun to type with which made getting used to the keyboard quicker. This is a mechanical keyboard so there will be that “mechanical” sound present. I did enjoy the sound while my sister did not too much. The keyboard is small and does save a lot of space as well. If you’ve used a typewriter, this keyboard does feel like one while typing. Overall, comfort is a solid 9/10. I enjoyed using the keyboard more than my sister but she did find it overly comfortable. ======== FEATURES/LOGITECH OPTIONS SOFTWARE: Some keys can be customized using the Logitech Options Software. The software is optional, but I highly recommend it since the software will allow you to customize your keyboard to your liking. Most of the customizable keys are function keys and the Emoji Keys. These keys can be assigned to do a certain task on your computer such as play/pause music, open an application, minimize an application, assign a certain keystroke, and more. The keyboard also comes with extra Emoji keys that can replace any of the keys on the keyboard. To change out the keys, simply pull up on the key and they will pop out. The first three function buttons allow you to switch between devices seamlessly. This works extremely well, and I found the latency between devices to be about 4 seconds. ======== CONCLUSION/TLDR: Overall, the Logitech POP Wireless Mechanical Keyboard is a fun and wonderful mechanical keyboard. The keyboard can be paired up with the POP mouse of the same vibrant color scheme for the ultimate duo! Some of the notable features are the exclusive Emoji keys, customizable keys, the ability to switch between devices, and the long-lasting battery. The mechanical sound is not for everyone, but I found the sound to be satisfying. My sister found it to be a bit on the louder side and annoying. Logitech always goes above and beyond with their peripherals, and this keyboard is just another outstanding product, so with that, I do recommend you try this out.

If you're not used to mechanical keyboards, you'll find this significantly heavier than you're used to. That being said, its a nice compact little keyboard that feels good to the touch. It took a few days of getting used to from my previous keyboard because that has lower profile keys and doesn't require as much distance to travel to press. It's showing me how many errors i typically make but that should go away with time. the colours are really stylish and its adds some flair to an otherwise drag office desk. with an advertised battery life of 3 years, it'll be nice to test that out as i'm usually swapping out/recharging batteries every 4 or so months. setup is a breeze. once i pulled the tab, my laptop had a popup saying there's a Bluetooth device in range. hit ok, entered the code on the keyboard and i was paired. If you're like me and have multiple computers at your desk, then this is handy as you can toggle between 3 different devices to be connected to. if you don't have BT on your computer, there is also a USB wireless dongle. Depending on your current keyboard you may take some time getting used to the Arrow key locations. its throwing me off when i try to navigate by direction arrows because of how far to the left of the enter key they are from normal. but again, anything new layout will just take getting used to. while the emoji buttons are fun and cute, its not something i do outside of my phone, so i don't see them getting much use, but my kids seem to enjoy them.

I love keyboards and it’s always fun trying out new products! I was so excited to try out the POP keyboard and add a little color to my work day! Opening the box I was shocked by the weight of this bad boy! Definitely a work from home / office keyboard and not something you’ll want to heft around in your backpack despite the otherwise convenient size and Bluetooth connectivity. It’s a solid feeling keyboard that reminds me of the old keyboards used in the 80’s with a satisfying click. At first use I was in love with the key mechanism but I quickly learned that I had become a lazy typist in recent years and I found that my finger arch needed to be more prominent (like we were taught) and that my flat fingers were causing too many errors. After about 10 minutes of so I got in a groove. Subconsciously, I think it helped my overall posture too as I had to sit up in my chair to get my arms at the correct height! My chiropractor thanks you Logitech! The keys were hot-swappable and you can program the individual emojis. I found the pre-installed keys to be to my liking through I did swap a few out to confirm that it was easy to do. I’ve said it once and I’ll continue shouting from the rooftops…Logitech makes the BEST multi device connectivity. I love that I was able to easily pair via Bluetooth to my Mac, PC and iPad and it takes a simple press of a button to toggle between the three. I tend to use all three devices in desktop mode with the same monitor and being able to use the same keyboard (and mouse) for all three is a tremendous time saver and helps reduce clutter. I do wish the colors themselves would be swappable. It would be neat to be able to change shells on a whim, but other than that this keyboard is a WINNER! Bravo Logitech!

This keyboard is built for the who uses text/social media on a regular basis. The draws for it are the customizable emoji keys (4) and pop up emoji menu - 5 keys on the extreme right side of the keyboard, and the ability to switch between devices using either a LogiBolt USB connector or Bluetooth. This allows this to be used with a computer, tablet or cell phone with a quick button touch. There are 4 'standard' emojis on the keyboard itself, but the emoji buttons can be replaced with any of the 4 others that come in the box. Using the Logitech Options software makes this easy and quick and the buttons themselves are easy to swap out. You can also select 'one-offs' from the pop up menu and not assign them to the key defaults. It is a small footprint keyboard, without the stand-alone number pad and quick keys for PgUp|PgDn|Home|End|Ins|Del. If you rely on these extended key sets, this may not be the keyboard for you. But, if you can navigate otherwise, it is a very solid option. The color palette of mint green and purple is actually easier on the eyes than I would have expected, the pastel colors are not at all harsh. The rounded buttons and click to the keys remind me of my early days in computing and old typewriters (Yes, I do remember them! I've been a programmer for almost 40 years!) The keyboard itself is very sturdy, with a bit of heft to it, so it does not move around as some of the lightweight keyboards can. For those of us who know what it's like to get 'banging on the keyboard' from time to time, you know what I mean. What I am a bit surprised at is that, although the spacing and size of the keys are pretty standard, I find myself 'fat fingering' the keyboard on a regular basis. I think this may be due to the fact that the keys sit a little higher off the desk than most current low profile keyboards. Takes a little gettiing used to, but like everything else - practice makes perfect. To get back to the features of this keyboard...The real selling point for this keyboard is the customizable emojis on the right side of the keyboard. There are 4 'preloaded' emojis with a 5th button that gives access to not only a large set of emojis, but symbols, gifs, and other options - some keyed to the time of year, others to your personal tastes. If you tend to use emojis in your messaging/posts/etc., this gives you a lot of options. The Logitech Options software should be downloaded and installed before using either this keyboard or the matching Pop Mouse as it makes setup go so much more smoothly and easily. The software allows you to see what devices are in use, battery levels, connection type - LogiBolt or Bluetooth, and allows for configuration of each. Switching between devices via Bluetooth or LogiBolt USB device is quite simple. Once your device has been paired and configured for the keyboard, the function keys (F1 | F2 | F3) control what device currently has priority. That said, you CAN decide that you would prefer to use the Function keys 'normally' (with out using the fn button to access them. It's an option in the configuration software. Overall, my impression of this keyboard is that is is meant for the texting/social media savvy user. Gamers and programmers are probably not going to get a whole lot out of this one. Pair with the POP Mouse and enjoy.

One thing I will say about the Logitech POP keyboard is that it is cute and different. The colors are bright and vibrant and not the standard black. If you love adding emojis to everything, it’s the keyboard for you! The keyboard is described as portable, but is actually quite heavy. It weighs almost 2 pounds and is very difficult to grip without pushing down on the keys while carrying it. That’s OK if the keyboard is turned off, but not if it’s on. The length is a couple of inches less than a standard keyboard. The manufacturer’s information states that there is a 3 year battery life expectancy which is nice if true. The keyboard connected easily via Bluetooth to my PC and to my Surface Duo 2 phone. There are 3 separate keys to connect up to 3 different devices wirelessly and to switch between the devices. There is also the option to connect the keyboard with a dongle (USB receiver). The F1 - F12 keys on the keyboard can be changed from standard function to FN shortcuts such as snip screen and trigger Voice-to-Text. It has a “start” key to bring up the Windows Start menu and 4 emoji keys. A 5th key opens up the full emoji menu. There are 4 additional emoji keys in the box that can be swapped out. I had some problems with the app. First it took 30 minutes to download. Then when I clicked the box in the app to switch the left/right buttons of the matching mouse, my computer froze. Restart wouldn’t fix it and I had to do a full shut down to get everything back. A couple of times, moving the mouse or pressing enter on the keyboard didn’t wake the computer. The keyboard is noisy and clackity. Every keystroke can be heard by someone in the next room. I’m a fast typer and the raised round keys are hard to type on and I made a lot of mistakes. I also type a lot of numbers and having the numbers on the top row slowed me down. The noise of the pop and click keyboard got old soon. I currently use a Logitech wireless keyboard with my PC and I like Logitech products. But I need a numeric 10 key pad on the right side of the keyboard and I need the DEL key to be in easy reach. The POP keyboard is more like a laptop keyboard. The 10 key pad is missing and the DELETE key is at the top and harder to reach. I don’t think I’ll be swapping out my current keyboard for the POP version. The ability to connect wirelessly to more than one device is great and I was looking forward to using it with my phone. I can type with the POP keyboard when connected to the phone, but would have to use it strictly for the phone. The POP keyboard is just too hard to type on and too noisy to use as my primary keyboard, given the amount of typing that I do. It’s more suitable for sending texts and messages - with lots of emojis. I would prefer a keyboard with all the Bluetooth and connectivity features of this one, but with standard keys. Then I could use the same keyboard with my PC and my phone, as it is intended to be used.

The colors are vibrant and fun – why don’t more manufacturers realize people like bold and different? So easy to connect, my desktop recognized the device and I just had to click connect. No USB to plug in (although one was included). There are 5 emoji keys on the right side of the keyboard and you can swap them out for 4 additional keys included in the box. You will need to reprogram the keys if you swap them. The emoji keys do replace Home and End keys. There is also new FN functionality The keyboard is smaller than a standard keyboard size and the keys are very close together. My preference is a standard sized keyboard and I would love to see this in a larger size. You will make noise when typing on this mechanical keyboard. Multiple Pop keyboards and your area will sound like a steno pool. It does take a little getting used to as my fingers go wider and hit the wrong key. It also has a slight tilt which I find useful. In order to fully utilize this product, you will need to download Logitech Options software. The software does have some impressive functionality but is wasted if you just use it to switch emojis. Flow software allows you to move files, texts and photos between connected devices. Battery life is a projected 3 years and then replace with AAA batteries. Backlighting on this keyboard would be impressive but would greatly shorten battery life. Hopefully they will add backlighting in the future. You can connect to up to 3 devices. I tested with 2 and it works fine on both. Designed for both Windows and Mac and other devices. A Logitech mat is also available to complete the look. The keyboard is heavy and seems solid. The smaller size is easier to take on the go. The emoji keys can be fun but they are very hard to view in my office lighting. I just don’t use emojis that often or constrain myself to just a few when I do. I think key shortcuts are easier. All of the keys functioned as intended but they are crowded. My husband tried the keyboard too and said “a child would love this.” It would be great for a child with the smaller layout and vivid colors. For me, I will stick with my Logitech MX Keys. I recently got into mechanical keyboards over the summer and did a deep dive on them. So when Logitech was going into the field with a fun twist, I knew that I wanted to give them a try! Off the bat - this is a beautiful keyboard, a very novel item that is fun to type on. Even the packaging was so thoughtful and fun to open. Logitech paid a lot of attention to details when packaging the Pop keys, right down to the emoji-filled tissue paper. --------------------------------------- Things I liked: --------------------------------------- - It really brings a POP of color to my current set up - so much fun to type on. Equipped with Romer-G Brown switches which are great for typists like me. You get that nice tactile feedback that you don't get on other low-profile keyboards. - Nostalgic of my childhood. When I was younger my father had a typewriter with similar round buttons that he would use to type up legal documents. Typing on this reminded of that. - Bluetooth connection is seamless across different devices. No surprise there. I didn't even use the newer Bolt receiver which you can store underneath the keyboard where the AAA batteries is housed. - Ability to change the emojis on the right side. This keyboard was definitely made for those who uses emojis often. Although at first I was a little hesitant about the usage of the emojis, I ended up liking them a lot especially the laughing one. --------------------------------------- Areas of improvement: --------------------------------------- - like with most mechanical keyboards, it takes some time to get used to the layout of the keys. The rounded corners may throw you off at first but after typing on it for a few days, it really isn't that bad. I'd probably wish that the keys were a little larger and/or with a similar indent as the mx keys. - It is a bit loud and 100% has to do with the hollow base and could use some lubing. - It's not hot-swappable - aka you can't take the switches out. For the price point, I would've loved the ability to change the switches in the future or mod it a bit by lubing the switches. As much fun as this keyboard is, I don't think I will be using it on the daily basis. I do, however, see myself using it on the go or using it from time to time for fun. It is a great novelty item.

I have not dealt with setting up a desktop computer in a long time, but have found myself setting one up recently. I went to Best Buy store to look at keyboards and fell in love with the type-writer look this had and with the way it felt when typing, so I went this route. Here is what I observed: This keyboard is very easy to set up. It comes with a bluetooth adapter in case it's needed, though we did not need this. I love that you can set this up with multiple devices and it is as simple as pressing a button to pair with the desired device. The emoji keys are super cool, cute, and handy! I love this little shortcut and that it comes with extra emoji keys and a carrying bag to store them in. It has all the shortcuts that I use on my MacBook and shortcut keys work perfectly. Overall, I highly recommend this. it is retro in style, modern in features, is easy to use, and provides a great typing experience.

With the combination of typewriter keys with a mechanical keys comes this awesome keyboard. It will take some getting used to if you are coming from a regular keyboard since the keys make the typing a little strange at first. The color combination is cool. The key presses are very satisfying. The overall build quality is very solid with very little flex. The ability to have emojis customized for your needs is a really cool feature to have in the age of working from home with Microsoft Teams feeling like the new AOL Instant Messenger haha. If they had offered this in a full keyboard with the number pad I would highly recommend it to everyone. This keyboard is definitely one that is more style over function. But it does one great good job at looking cool and leaving you with satisfying clicks. Very much oriented for artistic typists.

This keyboard is a staple for my computer and everyone wants to use it, as it reminds me of the old typewriter keyboard, only default is that it does not have a side number pad, but I was able to find a matching one online as I deal with numbers a lot, love all of the emoji's and the way the keys sound when they click.

After being tired of flat keys for so long, I bought this keyboard to both my iPad and computer, it’s compact easy to use and the keys sounds great. It’s design also is a mid century showstopper.

I LOVE this Logitech POP Keys Mechanical Wireless Emoji Keyboard! It's just simply FUN to use! I own, and use on a daily basis, several Logitech devices. It's a brand I truly trust and enjoy. Unboxing this Logitech beauty was fun, as well. It was packaged in the box in such a way that reminded me of wrapping a present in tissue paper. One of those "extra special touches" I love to see. This keyboard is ... cheerful. It kinda makes me feel happy just looking at it! The color combination of the 'Daydream' one I have compliments nicely. It's really pretty. Even the ESC key is done in an unusual shiny metallic hue. Plus, the friendly "clickety-clack" of the mechanical keys is a satisfying sound I'm partial to. You will need to download and install the Logitech Options software. This allows you to customize your lovely new keyboard along with the 9 Emoji keys you can switch out and change positions of on the right hand side of the keyboard. You are also able to pair this POP keyboard with three different devices, which is definitely a useful feature. There is a Logitech Bolt plug-in 'dongle' included, which from what I understand, is meant to provide a more secure connection, reduce latency, and increase range for Logitech devices. Although you are also able to connect the keyboard wirelessly via Bluetooth to your PC without using the Bolt. The keyboard is heavier than I would have thought, but that's really not a downside at all. I most assuredly DO recommend!!!

Logitech POP Keys Keyboard. Yeah, so the packaging is actually really nice. I love this whole GET EXPRESSIVE Personality That POPS. This keyboard looks pretty sick actually! keys are great. I actually kind of like typing on this thing. The keyboard has features and functions that i haven't seen on any other keyboard. It feels nice and solid. it stays in place on the table thanks to its weighty build. Even with rigorous typing this keyboard will stay nice and firmly in place on your desk. It does come with a usb dongle and there's a spot next to the battery compartment to stash this dongle when it's not being used. This is good because you probably won't need this dongle as this keyboard connects directly using Bluetooth. you'd only really need to use this dongle if you wanted to use this keyboard with a device that didn't have Bluetooth. this keyboard has really great compatibility. it works with windows, macs, an iPad or android phone or an iPhone. you can connect this keyboard and seamlessly switch between any three devices of your choice to pair. I found typing to be natural and comfortable I and really do like the feedback that you get from this keyboard. this is not a cheap keyboard and you definitely get a high quality keyboard for the price.

Wow, this keyboard adds a little fun to our desk time. It takes a little time to get used to the difference between the old and the new but it was worth it because we really enjoy using this POP keys keyboard. The colors are fun as well as dreary black is so old world so if you are giving this a look over then GO FOR IT.

I've been wanting this keyboard for awhile. Im glad I finally got my hands on one. I'm using it right now to write this review. This is the most satisfying keyboard to use. Every "CLICK" I hear is music to my ears. Its so fun and relaxing to use, I'm honestly in love with this keyboard. From the beautiful fun and happy colors to every click sound it makes. It gives you the typewriter vibe. Connecting the keyboard to your laptop is simple just turn it on and turn on your laptop bluetooth. When typing the connectivity is very precise. There's 2 ways to connect this to your computer,Laptop or tablet. Via Bluetooth or using the USB receiver it comes with. There's also 9 swappable emoji keys making it more fun to use. Its battery operated, giving you a 3 years battery life. Which I still need to see about that. This would be a great christmas gift or a great addition to your computer system.

When if comes to noice satisfaction, i love it. The design and colors are really good. Got it for work, it is small and doesn’t take a lot of space which was ideal for a space where it is shared by coworkers.
