Operating system is a little glitchy, not very good at mapping the house. Does an ok job with the vacuum and mopping, but for the price, not anything extraordinary.

This Robot vacuum and mop combo is awesome! Does a tremendous job on our floors, which are mostly tile. It’s not cheap, but they say, “Cheap stuff ain’t good, and good stuff ain’t cheap!” It’s true!
The $1500 price point gave me a bit of discomfort, but when it dropped to $999 on the Black Friday deal, it was mine! A tremendous purchase!

We have recently moved to a home with all hard floors here so this came just at the right time.
Packaging is big, expect it to weigh around 50lbs if being delivered. Inside the box you will find everything you need boxed in separate boxes and instructions on how to open them. Its very easy to see what you have and when you will need it.
Once everything is unpacked you get to setting the vac up. Its very simple by just pushing on the brushes, then you will download the app, take the top off the vac and scan the QE code to add the vac to your app. You will more than likely get an immediate firmware update, do this as it adds features.
Once setup you can get to working in the app. The app is better on iOS than Android, I struggled with data error messages on the app with Android but not with iOS. Once i had it setup in iOS it worked just fine on the Android version, Strange.
So like a lot of vacs this will clean and map out your home, the more it does it the better it gets at cleaning your home. and in the app you can see a full 3d version of what the vac has mapped out and its very accurate.
Once in cleaning mode it will quietly do its thing. I was surprised to hear how quiet this was in use. the only time it gets loud is when it returns to the base to clean itself and thats when the base station vac kicks in to empty the vac.
You can also get a POV video while the vac does its cleaning which is cool, also you can speak through the vac which has been pretty handy when seeing my son in his room.
You can also use voice commands to start cleaning and such.
I have not yet used the mop but i have filled the tank to do so. In the base station you get a clean water tank and an empty dirty water tank for when it cleans itself.
Overall we love this unit, its quiet, does a great job and has some great app features. We highy recommend

The Days of Manually Vacuuming Are Over

SETUP/MAPPING
It comes with the Deebot X1 Omni vacuum/mop robot with a plethora of sensors, two side brushes, a “floating” main brush, three wheels, and mop system attachment with pads. The top is magnetic which grants you access to the on/off switch and a cute little bagless bin that can hold 0.1 gallons with a reusable washable filter that empties automatically when the vacuum goes back to the station or manually if you want to go back to that peasant lifestyle. The Omni auto-emptying and auto-cleaning Station is large compared to other bases. As it houses a clean water tub, dirty water tub, a cleaning brush, an extra pair of mop pads, and a 3L disposable dust bag. The power cord is removeable and has a place to wrap it on the back for cable management. Both the vacuum and the base feel well built, solid, and high quality. Each of the tubs has thick plastic with rubber textured handles. Everything opens and closes easily. Along with sliding in and out of place smoothly. You can tell a TON of engineering went into every single aspect of this device. Replacement parts aren’t too expensive either which is good.
They report an overall run time of 140 minutes. Which I found to be accurate on stock settings. But if you increase the suction power it is a lot less. If you run out of battery mid clean it will return to the dock, charge a bit, and then resume cleaning. They report it takes 6.5 hours to charge fully. Which is a long time, but they likely chose that to maximize the life of the battery. They say it has a max decibel range of 68 dB. I found on stock settings it was close to 50 – 60 dB and would imagine going to maximum suction would be between 60 – 68 dB.
On the lid of the base, it gives you instructions on how to get started. Which pretty much says unbox everything and scan the QR which takes you to the Ecovacs HomeVac App which then walks you thought the rest of the process. Which is pairing your robot, connecting it to the internet, and doing the initial mapping that you can see in real time. They report that it uses True Mapping 2.0 which scans the home environment, quickly generates a map, plans the most efficient cleaning paths, and they guarantee less missed and repeated spots. Which I found to be accurate. Once the initial mapping was done, I fine-tuned it by adjusting my house walls, combining some rooms, labeled them, and made a few software barriers. Such as my stairs. It treats that barrier as a wall, and I haven’t had an issue with it. Overall setup time was about 30 – 40 minutes.
VOICE CONTROLS:
The Voice Control supports Alexa and Google Assistant. But also has a unique one called Yiko. Which you can access by saying “Ok, Yiko” and then a plethora of commands such as “begin cleaning”, “stop”, “return to dock”, “what are you doing”, “clean x”, “mop x”, “clean under table”, etc. You can say “I’m here” and through sound localization tech it will seek you out and clean around you. All of which worked well just like any modern age smart assistant. However, the robotic voice can be improved as it doesn’t sound very good. You can increase/decrease the volume through commands or via the app. And it will call out when it is doing something which I LOVE. Such as starting a clean, returning to the base, emptying the bag, cleaning the mop pads, etc. Which I really like. As that way you aren’t left wondering. For those of you concerned about privacy voice commands are saved on a server which you can go in and delete in the app. You can also turn it off if you’d like.
OBSTACLE AVOIDANCE:
It uses something called AIVI 3D which utilizes AI computing power, astrophotography-grade RGB camera, LiDAR, dToF sensor, autopilot technology, and human recognition to identify and detect obstacles while scanning the home and creating paths to clean even in the dark. They do report that it works better in well-lit environments. Which I found to be true but did just fine in the dark. With all this tech it does a spectacular job at avoiding objects. On the extremely rare occurrence it did suck something up it shouldn’t have it would automatically turn off the brush, lift itself up, and try to vroom off. This worked every time without intervention. There are two protective bumpers on the front, and I found it rarely bumped into anything to activate them. Even when it did it was very mild making me unconcerned about damage to the vacuum or the thing it was being rude to. It never ran into me or my dog. When it detects an object (shoes, dog toys, clothes, cords, socks, etc.) it will clean around them with a minimal barrier (maybe an inch/inch and a half) and gets even closer around tables, chairs, or walls (maybe an inch or less). It never got stuck anywhere. During the initial mapping it shimmed itself into a small crevice under a bed that was barely big enough for it to fit, went exploring, and came out the other side full of dust with a story of adventure. There is also a dresser with some weird woodwork on the bottom where it has a single area it can enter/exit and it will find that spot without any troubles at all. Needless to say, I’ve been extremely satisfied with the accuracy and precision. As it does an incredible job and I never use that word.
VACUUMING:
My initial clean was a gauntlet. I purposefully didn’t vacuum for a YEARS (not really) meaning there was who knows what all over the floor. I found on stock settings it got probably 75% of it first go through. I found by tweaking some settings you can get to about 95%. To do this I set my vacuum to use maximum power on all my carpet areas and normal on hardwood/tile along with going over my dirtiest area (the living room) twice per cleaning along with a regular schedule and it made a HUGE difference. Making it where if I go back over with my wired vacuum that I get very little spill over. The main brush is made from robber and brush material, and it only got clogged once. When it is cleaning it will start with the perimeter and then clean row by row inside it which I found covers about 98% of the area (with that last 2% being in hard-to-reach places that I probably wouldn’t get with a normal vacuum without moving things). In the end I’m very satisfied that my days of manually vacuuming are practically over.
MOPPING:
It comes with two mopping pads that have Ozmo Turbo 2.0 which allows for 180 rotations per minute. You need to manually apply this attachment as when they are on it will avoid all carpets. Meaning if it needs to go across carpet to get to the thing it needs to mop it will get “stuck” making you have to deliver it. Which is unfortunate. As it would have been epic if it could sense hardwood/tile and activate them and then sense carpet and deactivate them. Perhaps in next years model.
As for the performance. In the app you can select the “water flow level” from being low, medium or high, how often it cleans the pads and empties the dust bin (10 minutes, 15 minutes, or 25 minutes), and how long the hot air-dry time is (2, 3, or 4 hours). It works the same way as the vacuuming where it will go around the perimeter first and then clean everything inside it. It also vacuums while mopping meaning the vacuum is on the front and will clean a spot before it starts to mop it meaning you don’t need to have it vacuum first which is awesome. I found that it will make the floor damp but not soak it and does a good job at picking up surface level grime. But doesn’t do a deep cleaning meaning if you have an aggressive stain, it likely won’t fully clean it first time around. It does a good job at cleaning and drying the pads automatically. So, if your primary purpose is for it to mop you may want to look at another robot. For my floors I could clearly see they cleaned them which was proven by looking at the dirty water bucket. Last you can have it spot clean by going into the app and selecting an area or through voice commands. I was expecting better but this still left me satisfied.
AUTO-CLEANING:
One of the main selling points for this guy is that it can auto empty the dust bin and automatically washes, dries, and refills the water tank on the device. And I’m happy to report that it works well. As mentioned, you have some settings in the app that you can change so it empties less or more often. You can also manually select in the app if you want it to empty the dust bin, clean the mopping pads (if attached), or start hot air drying (if attached). Last all of this is also accessible through voice commands. When the robot is doing its thang it will also tell you when it is going to clean the mop or empty the dustbin, or if you need to do something with the water tanks. Inside the app you can see how full or empty the clean and dirty water tank is. The station has 21 kPa to suck up any debris from the 0.1 gallon dustbin on the device to the 3 liter disposable dust bag on the station. They report it takes 10 seconds to empty. It cleans the mops by dumping some water in the bay with some hard plastic where the mop will go over, which then flushes to the dirty tank, and the robots water reservoir is then filled with clean water from the clean tank. When it is drying the pads you can feel a bit of heat if you get close enough with your hand. My one complaint is that I wish they would have used a reusable bin over a disposable dust bag so I don’t have to keep purchasing them. I also never found a spot to put the mop attachment when not in use.
CONCLUSION:
This thing isn't perfect. You're mostly paying for the automation over superior cleaning quality. But it does everything well making it an easy recommendation from me.

Robot Vacuum I've Been Looking For
|

This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.
It's been my experience that most robot vacuums are an exercise in compromise. They're either too dumb, too loud, not intuitive, not powerful, or some combination thereof. I've had robot vacuums over the years from 3 different brands and by far, Ecovac's DEEBOT line has been my favorite, and the X1 is no exception.
This vacuum is certainly in the premium camp of robot vacuums in terms of both cost and feature set. If you've only ever had a basic vacuum and not one that has the base for mopping, charging, and debris collection, you'll be in for a shock when you open this up. The base is tall, I'd say about 2 feet tall, meaning you can't tuck this under a piece of furniture like a standard robot vacuum.
The base contains 2 water tanks for the mopping feature. One is for fresh water, the other is for waste water. I've been using this thing for about a week now, but haven't mustered the courage to try mop mode as of yet due to all the rugs we have around our house.
A little further down the base, on the front, is the pop-put drawer for debris collection. One of the nice features of these kinds of vacuums is that you don't have to remove the debris collection part and empty yourself. This thing dumps the debris it collects when it finishes a cleaning run and returns to the base. No more dog or cat hair and dust popping up into your face like a typical robot vacuum.
The X1 is also chock full of smart features, powered by the Ecovacs mobile app. Here, you can:
- Create a map of your home, complete with no-mop and / or no-go zones.
- Monitor the status / location of the unit in real time as it's moving about.
- Set schedules for cleaning.
- Stream video from the camera atop the unit.
- Interact with people at home through the speaker on the unit.
There's also an Ecovac's voicebot assistant named Yuki. You can say, "Hey Yuki"... and the vacuum will perk up and listen for commands. I personally haven't used the Ecovacs assistant, but it's cool to know it's there as an option. I wasn't able to verify if this works with Alexa or Google Assistant, but I was able to figure out a way to get it to pair with my HomeKit setup using a popular app called Homebridge.
In terms of performance, one of the things I appreciate the most is how quiet this thing is compared to our previous robot vacuum. This thing is like, ninja quiet, compared to the last machine we had that was not an Ecovacs product. I work from home and this thing can run and clean the house, and I'm not bothered by it. I can be on video calls and the people I'm speaking to can't hear it, even if it's in the room with me.
Another feature that I appreciate with the X1 is how intelligent its movement is. I've had robot vacuums before that claimed to follow a map of the house, then proceeded to bounce off literally everything like someone blindfolded in a dark room. I've watched how this thing moves and it has a very easy to see, logical progression of cleaning. It'll still get stuck sometimes between the chair legs in our dining room and kitchen nook, but I've never had to rescue it, it works it's own way out.
From a feature perspective, the X1 is everything I've been wanting in a robot vacuum cleaner. It's sleek looking, quiet, feature-rich, and does a great job vacuuming up after my dog, cat, and 2 kids. At the price point, it's certainly an investment, but so far, it's one that I'm glad I made.

Rosie the Robot has come to vacuum!

This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.
The EVOVACS Robotics Deebot X1 Omni Robot Vaccuum and Mop is the vacuum of the future. I have been had multiple robotic vacuums and I have to say this one is my favorite so far. The number one thing I have enjoyed right off the bat is the quietness compared to the other brand I have been using. My dogs do not care for the vacuum cleaners - but they have learned to live with the robotic vacuums. This one doesn't seem to bother them at all because it is so much quieter (which the exception of when it is empting itself). Yes! It empties itself! And it mops the floor! Rosie the Robot has finally come to my house to help with chores!
The maching is about the size of a medium trash can - so definitly think about where you are going to put this before you buy it. It's not as easy as just throwing it in a corner. It needs to have space on either side of it as well. Once you unpack the machine, you just scan a QR code and it takes you to the ECOVACS app. Here you set up your machine and it sets up the initial mapping of your house which you can watch in real time. Once the mapping is done you can make adjustments to it.
You literally can start vacumming right then. I have two dogs who like to leave tumbleweeds of hair everywhere and this macine whipped through my house and picked them all up. It's really pretty quiet on our tile floors. It gets a little louder on the carpet or rugs - but still no where near as loud as out Dyson or Roomba. Then when it was all done - it went back to the base and emptied itself. As I mentioned it before, it is a little louder when it goes through the auto-emptying process.
When you want it to mop, you have to manually the mop pads that come with the machine. When they are attached, they will avoid the carpeted areas of your home. This is a great way to keep your floors cleaned. It doesn't seem to work on heavily soiled areas - but general grime from the dogs feet - it is perfect. Again, it returns and empties itself in the station.
You can start/stop the Deebot by voice control. You can use both Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant or it's own name Yiko.

DEEBOT X1 OMNI Robot is one of those robots that really press and push things forward in a way I saw before in this space. First, I have to say this thing is extremely powerful with suction getting everything off my floors no matter what. 5000PA of suction which left me surprised. X1 OMNI was getting into crevices other vacs were unable to, corners, and sides of the wall that was kinda difficult to get in. Even on carpet it was amazing just pulling in cereal that was littered across the floor. Deebot just sucked it right on in without issues. I honestly never used something like this before, because it's way more advanced than just being a robot vacuum. Just based on first impressions and use; The camera system seems to be unraveled unlike any other because this X1 can move around things almost organically.
It did avoid pet waste which is a HUGE win in my book and went out of its way to avoid slippers (Even avoid other robots.) X1 OMNI went back and forward making sure it picked up all the dirt. So far so good with getting what it should and avoiding things it knows it shouldn't pick up. The next thing I want to talk about is how it works as a mop which was fine on hardwood floors because it also spins the mop getting really strong deep cleaning action. (You can manually put the mops underneath the Deebot X1 OMNI) This X1 also acts more intelligently getting well most of the dirty spots on the ground up with the mop; at least in my home, it got things clean. The mops on the robot don't clean the carpet as it knows what surface it is on.
The box to the device is large. Moving it around alone is a hassle, and it seems intimidating to get through but I promise you it wasn't. Though I will say once it's in the home and ready to be set up it's pretty simple to dive right in. Make sure you pick a big enough spot for the station. It took me a total of 20 mins to just learn and set up the X1 OMNI. OMNI station base is large and I mean it's about the size of a small garbage bin. Silver and black are beautifully designed on the OMNI X1 at least. The OMNI Station does all of the auto work sucking in the dust into a disposable bag. But the fun comes in with this because since the X1 is also a mop it can clean and refill the water bin with ease. Leaving you with way less dirty work on your hands. The base also can wash and dry the pads WOW!. It drains out the dirty water into a tank and puts fresh water in. all you have to do is fill the tank with water and empty dirty water. I love it and it's surreal to me as I saw this done before in a robot vacuum.
The app for the Deebot X1 OMNI is amazing and no issues when using the app at all. The app gives you tons of features such as super deep integration with scheduling, Saving different floors in the house, and House mapping (which it did right the first time use.) You can also set boundaries around the house so the X1 won't go into the places you don't want it to. I haven't used the voice assistance features yet but they are there with Google Assistant and Amazon Alex...I'm sure the voice can be a whole paragraph in itself.
Overall, I guess the main feature here is the mopping. Which for me worked great and clean my floors just fine. I can see that there can be improvements on a product like this but I mean X1 OMNI is doing a heck of a job cleaning my home. Not only its a powerful vacuum but also a mop to go along with it, and it's pretty easy to manually manage. For me, this is the most powerful robot vacuum I ever used.

Great Machine For a Time

Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed.
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.
I purchased this after extensive research as it seemed like a machine that didn't run into as many errors as opposed to other brands and was a quality workhorse. I owned this for a year and a half before it unfortunately quit on me.
One of the more unique features was that it had a home patrol camera on it that you could remotely access and drive around your home to see things. You were also able to talk through the camera. Not necessarily a feature that a robot vacuum needs, but we used it to check on our home and pets when we weren't there.
I enjoyed that it had the capability of storing multiple maps as we have two floors and our living room is recessed, so we needed three different maps to accommodate all of the spaces the robot would be cleaning. I also liked that it would show you in the app where it was in the house and you could see the path of where it had cleaned. It kept track of analytics like how many square feet it had cleaned, how much time it had spent cleaning, errors, and how much life each part had left until it needed to be replaced. I liked the self-emptying feature and the fact that it was able to self-wash and dry the mop pads. I liked the two side rotating brushes to catch dust along edges and corners of walls. I was able to put it on a cleaning schedule and forget about it. You could also control it with voice commands. It did a wonderful job keeping things clean with very minimal errors that required me to go fix it. As a full-time working parent, this thing saved me so much time and effort to keep my home clean and my mind less stressed.
Now onto the things I didn't like. This thing has a ton of replaceable parts, none of which are particularly affordable (even though the Ecovacs company would give you reward points just for using the functionality of the app and robot which did help cut down on costs). It would tell me the dust bag was full even when after looking into the bag, I felt it should be able to hold a lot more dust. Just the fact that it uses a replaceable dust bag system puts it below other robot vacuum models that are bagless and allow you to just empty the dust container into the trash. It seems like it uses a ton of water for the mop function as I was constantly having to empty the dirty water tank and fill up the fresh water tank and I was only having it clean our small kitchen area, not a large space at all. It also did not mop very well and left the floor streaky. The way the docking station is designed makes it very difficult to get into the bay to keep it clean, so I found the dirty water tank line getting clogged because it would suck up pet hair or small particulates and subsequently the cleaning bay would end up getting full of stagnant water that it couldn't empty into the dirty water tank, not a pleasant smell. I would have to use one of those syringes that you use to give kids liquid Tylenol to pump air into the dirty water tank line to unclog it. I often found the voice the robot used difficult to understand as the audio function wasn't super clear. There were times while it was cleaning that it would seem to get randomly confused and would spin around in circles in place or start running into things. I was on my Peloton one time while it was cleaning and the thing ran directly into the fly wheel which ground a nice indention into the top piece of the camera. I would also have to replace the filter cartridge, mopping solution, the side brushes, and main brushes after a time. When I replaced the main brush with another one from the Ecovacs company is when my robot met its demise or at least I assume that is what happened. I started getting a main brush tangled error even though there was no debris in the brush. I sent it to the Best Buy service center twice to no avail and they ended up having to junk the machine out.
Despite all of the issues I had with it and it's untimely end, I would still say that Ecovacs created a pretty incredible robot. However, I think it's one of those things were the more sophisticated a machine is, the more opportunity for issues to present themselves. This robot was extremely expensive and I would have hoped it would have lasted longer than the year and a half I had it, but no such luck for me.

Great Product Especially If You Have Dogs

I've been testing the ECOVACS, DEEBOT X1 OMNI robot vacuum / mop for the past few days and it is quite impressive! I have hardwood floors that I have to clean daily because I have two dogs that are heavy shedders and are constantly leaving dirty paw prints all over the floor.
The first thing that impressed me was how easy and quick it was to assemble the product. It was a little challenging getting the product registered into my ECOVACSHOME app, but once that was complete the DEEBOT was ready to go. It seamlessly navigated around the house to begin its initial mapping (in vacuum mode) and was very good at detecting its surrounding obstacles.
We then tried it in vacuum/mop mode, which is easily transitioned by adding on the two mop pads. It does a very good job in this mode and the two mop pads noticeably pick up dirt from the floor (even in between the hardwood floor cracks). Once the DEEBOT recognizes that the mop pads need to be cleaned, it returns to the cleaning station to self-clean the pads and then continues to proceed with cleaning the remaining area that was selected. It even navigated itself around furniture and the dogs.
The self-cleaning feature for this robot vacuum/mop is my absolute favorite feature of this product. It is essentially self-operating and self-sustaining outside of minimal product cleaning/maintenance. The large water tank and waste tank minimizes the frequency of having to refill and dump out water. I was able to mop over 1000 sqft three times without having to refill the water and empty out the waste tank.
Overall, this is a great product.

I have owned 3 different robot vacuums and have not truly been satisfied with any of them. I think this is finally the one that i will be very happy with.
This vacuum is extremely high tech and is packed with features. First, the setup was extremely easy. You download the app, scan the QR code on the Vac, then you are good to go. It has a big heavy dock with a dirt bin, clean water bin, dirty water bin, and a storage bin for clean mop pads and cleaning brush. It has a camera on the Vac that let's you watch it's cleaning routine in real time. Super cool. The app let's you customize your map, set cleaning routines, and even pinpoint specific parts of your floor to clean. It has voice activation as well.
The first time you run it, it maps your house. It did a very accurate job with the mapping. Then you are supposed to run it without the mop function first. When i ran it i was very pleased with the vacuuming results. My floor definitely looked and felt clean. It did have a few issues however. It got stuck in a corner by my kitchen chairs after i thought i provided a clear path. It also left a huge dust bunny under my console even after i sent it back under it again.
A few days later i ran it on both Vac and mop mode. I made sure to move my chairs again so it wouldn't get stuck again but it still did. It did return to the dock to clean the mop pads and refill the water tank, all automatically. That was very impressive. Once it was done i noticed that it left swirls all over the floor from the mopping pads. I decided that it was not a big deal since it actually did a great job cleaning my floor.
Overall i am very pleased with this robot Vac/mop. It is very sophisticated, but did run into the same issues cheaper Vacs do. Especially since this one advertises sophisticated laser navigation to avoid getting stuck. I do intend to use this on a routine and am looking forward to a constantly clean floor.

First of all right out of the box. This thing is a little heavy, so make sure you got the back for it. Lid I featured in the picture. Simply connect everything physically connect everything via Wi-Fi and you're off and running. I didn't read carefully about adding soap to the water bin so it's just regular water right now, I was just so excited to hook it up. I didn't care to read but I will like 3 or 4 months from now. It's beautiful. It's sleek. It's high tech. It makes the room look good and it's easy to empty the mop water with the base. This particular unit also has self-cleaning so I imagine it's not going to be horrible to keep up. One thing I will say I am upgrading from the Deebot T8, there are two things that jump right out to me, number one. The t8 is a simple robo vacuum, and it can mop too. You empty. You run it, this one is a little more sophisticated If you have a lot of mop floors, this is the one for you, with the simple to add mop water for both clean and dirty, it's pretty cool. I don't have a lot of solid floors. It's a little half and half so we'll see how long it takes to fill up the dirty water. How many runs. The next thing that jumps out is the vacuum tray. The way it sits in the charger. Seems like it might be a little irritating to get to cuz I think I need to pull it out. Pull out the vacuum tray, empty it, put it back in and then put the robot back in. Few extra steps. But there is definitely value, get one very soon.

This unit has a decent vacuum, but the mops lack adequate cleaning power. It also seems to get confused, and I’ve reset it several times without success. It just returns to its base. Also, the battery life has noticeably diminished after only one year of use. I’ve had several robot vacuums in the past from different manufacturers, and had high hopes for this one, which unfortunately ended in disappointment.

Excellent cleaning robot! I haven't had any issues with it since I brought it in 2022. The maintenance is super easy. It keeps the hardwood nice and shiny.

Game changing over Roomba with some annoyances

Been a Roomba fan and have owned 4 different models over the years. After the last one broke, I wanted to explore outside of that ecosystem.
The X1 Omni has been game-changing. It navigates the house with ease and avoids the various toys or dog bones on the floor when it runs on a schedule. I no longer need to worry about moving couch tables, or cords on the floor that Roomba would knock over or get tangled in.
We run ours daily to keep up with the pet dander from our shedding dog and has been able to keep up with ease and do a much better job than our previous Roomba model. The mopping capability works great and has completely replaced our Brava!
Some of the downsides of the X1 Omni though is if it loses connectivity to the internet, it does not function properly and will struggle going back home during a run, or will not navigate the house properly. Have seen this twice in the last 3 or 4 weeks of ownership. The other issue I have is not being able to use Google or Alexa device to ask it to vacuum areas in the house. I have found that I can only use the built-in voice assistant to achieve this.

This is overall a very good robot vacuum. The voice commands can be finicky, but the performance is better than expected. I had a Roomba before this and this is FAR better. Its mapping is great. I have animals and have never had an incident of this guy rolling poop all over my house. The mopping doesn’t get my rugs wet. It does a good job of keeping the floors clean when I don’t have time to pay attention to them. The app is easy to use and the mapping is fairly accurate. (I have kids constantly moving things and changing its map, but it handles it well) I’m very happy with this purchase after a year of using it with it running twice a week to vacuum and mop wood floors.

Impressive! The Deebot Omni has transformed our cleaning routine with its mapping, thorough cleaning, and self-emptying/refilling features. However, the app has drawbacks, like skippable ads and occasional map deletion issues, but these are fixable. Despite these quirks, considering the $1,000 price, the current $800 retail price is worth exploring, especially if it has dropped further since my purchase in mid-October.
