The Logitech Lift mouse is a simply fantastic mouse. Aside from the comfortable positioning of the mouse (more natural hold - sort of like holding a small cup), the software available allows for customization like I have never seen before. I connected the Lift mouse to my MacBook Pro via bluetooth and the connection was simple. I already had the Logi+ Options app on my computer for use with a Logitech keyboard and the software instantly recognized the mouse and walked me through a step-by-step process for setting up customized mouse functions. I included a few screenshots in this review because the software is half the magic of this mouse. I was able to customize button functions down to application level (e.g. swipe left/right in Outlook for mark as read or delete). The software is fully compatible with not only Mac OS but all the apps I use every day (Office apps, Adobe apps, publishing apps, etc.). Tracking and button clicks feel premium, as one would expect from Logitech. The mouse is comfortable to hold/use and has a really nice subdued look on the mousepad. I compared this with my Apple Magic Mouse 2 and I would say the Logitech Lift wins in most cases. I am ambidextrous and used this as a right-handed mouse, but know it is also available for lefties (huge plus!) The only (very small) downside to this mouse falls in to the "you'll get used to it" bucket. The right and left click buttons are positioned in an ergonomic way, but this lead to a lot of me accidentally right clicking. I think it will likely take a few more days of using this mouse to get used to it.

I love this mouse so much that this is actually my second one. I initially purchased the rose color for my work from home desk. I was using a basic wired mouse and was beginning to have some physical issues with my mouse arm / hand so I bought the pink Logitech Lift for something more ergonomic. I loved it so much that when I went back into the office a couple days a week (without my Logitech Lift), I was surprised to find that whatever wireless mouse I was using now felt clunky and uncomfortable. I quickly purchased my second Logitech Lift, the black one I'm reviewing here.  After comparing different ergonomic mice, I went with the Logitech Lift because I felt it would better fit my smaller hands. I'm happy to say that this is true, it feels comfortable to maneuver and fits perfectly in my hand. It's quick to set up the mouse, you can either pair it through Bluetooth or plug in the USB dongle. I chose to plug in the dongle and it was working in no time at all. On the instruction booklet, there's a URL you can visit if you need help setting it up along with some tips on desk ergonomics, which I appreciated. The mouse uses one AA battery and it comes with one inside, making it plug and play right out of the box.  The mouse feels natural to use and I didn't require any period of adjustment. The scroll wheel is quiet and smooth and the buttons are easy to click and responsive. The rubber portion of the mouse feels comfortable and the plastic portion feels silky and luxurious. The whole thing feels like quality and I imagine it will last a long time.  The Logo Options+ program is free to install and is another thing I like about this mouse. You can read about it when you visit the URL on the box. It guides you through the buttons and helps you customize each one if desired, also allowing you to adjust the sensitivity and pointer speed. This is also where you can keep tabs on your battery level. It was a nice touch and it's been helpful for me.  I'm happy with this mouse. It looks great on my desk, is easy to use, feels well built, and works perfectly. If you have smaller or medium sized hands, I recommend this mouse. If you have larger hands, you might want to check out the Logitech MX Vertical, which in my research, looks similar but just larger. The Lift for me is practically perfect. The only thing that I could think of to make it better is if it was rechargeable instead of using a battery but other than that, I love everything about this mouse.

I've compared the Lift with an Apple Magic Mouse 2 and a Magic Trackpad. The Lift has been very helpful to relieve wrist pain and is now my goto device among these 3. In addition, the Logi Options+ software has allowed me to program the Lift to perform all of my swipe functions I use with the Apple devices. It takes a lot less pressure to move the mouse.

I had been dealing with wrist pain for a month and finally decided to explore different ergonomic mice that would maintain much of the functionality of my Magic Mouse. This change worked wonders, and the extensive customizability of the new mouse allowed me to keep all my favorite shortcuts. In fact, I even gained a few new additional handy shortcuts

This is by far my favorite mouse; I have purchased it multiple times to have it at work and home. I have it in grey and pink. Quite click is great; I had the original version of this mouse and really didn't think the smaller size or the quiet click would matter that much --- Love it! I have carpal tunnel in my wrist and cannot use the typical mouse. This mouse is the only one that helps with the pain.

When I first set up the Lift Mouse, I was certain Logitech had nailed it. I could use it in front of me or to my right. It's very responsive, a great weight, not to light, not too heavy, it moves easily. It does take a little getting used to. You have to position you hand upright, but the sloped interior (left side) of the mouse aids in this being done easily and comfortably. The scroll wheel moves easily, in a notched fashion, pushing on it changes it to the now expected scroll function (programable). The two small interior buttons can be programed to do several common functions (page up/down, volume up/down... using Logi Options+ software) and the DPI of the mouse can be changed with the small button under the scroll wheel (also programmable). And my favorite function is that it can be used on multiple computers at the same time. My desk has 3 notebooks, two I use regularly (both with extended screens [Windows & iOS]), and a third is more for occasional use (Android). But I can pair this mouse with all 3 (machines & OSs), and switch between machines by tapping the Easy Switch button. The mouse can be used with Bluetooth or a Logitech USB receiver (I used all BT). Everything worked smoothly, just as I'd hoped. Just for kicks I also tried it with my iPad Air (which has mouse support, and it worked perfectly). So far perfect. But, after using the mouse for several days, I found that the angle of the mouse, and the size of my hand caused my left middle finger to get pushed off the second button onto the scroll wheel. Using the left button was fine but I was not always, naturally keeping my middle finger on the right button. I would stop and re-position my hand or lift the mouse slightly to use the right mouse button. Most "normal" work was fine as only the left mouse button was needed, but anytime I wanted to use the right button to select something, I was adjusting my hands position. After using the Lift mouse for a few days this got to be a real difficulty (slowing me down), and I wished the mouse was a half a finger taller, or that the lift of the mouse was adjustable. I identify as a male (he), with kind of big hands (I could palm a basket when I was younger), I weigh about 230, I'm 60+ yrs old, my favorite color is blue. And I've used all sorts of mice (and trackballs) since the Apple II and MS Windows 3.1. I really liked this mouse, it got great flexibility, it feels great in my hand but the size of my hand makes it almost impractical for me to use. The last image I've included shows how my little finger extends below the raised mouse. I suspect my wife or daughter will really like it. It's innovative and comfortable if it fits your hand properly.

      Hello 3Tcubed,
I am sorry to hear the Lift Vertical is too small for you. I recommend you try the MX Vertical, which is bigger than the Lift Vertical and is the MX collection (top of the line). I hope you find this information helpful. Logitech appreciates your product review. - Leo from Logitech

As someone who has dealt with wrist pain for years, the Logitech Lift Vertical Wireless Ergonomic Mouse has been a game-changer. After switching from a traditional mouse, I noticed a significant reduction in discomfort almost immediately. The ergonomic design, with its 57-degree vertical angle, feels natural and keeps my wrist in a relaxed, handshake-like position. This has greatly relieved the tension that used to build up after hours of computer work. What I appreciate most is how this mouse supports my long workdays. I spend over eight hours daily at my desk, and the Lift has made a noticeable difference in preventing strain from creeping in. Unlike traditional mouse that force your hand into an unnatural flat position, this one promotes a neutral posture, which feels much more comfortable over extended periods.

Already have one of these and my daughter needed a new mouse for work. Based on my recommendation, we purchased a second one. Works like a mouse but the turn of the form to better fit your wrist makes this extremely easy to use all day. The programmable buttons are easy to set up and make taking screen shots and other key-stroke based changes quick to make happen.
