This is indeed one of the best laptops for under-/graduate student geeks. It runs all the programming software smoothly. It runs perfectly with Games as well in all aspect. Battery life, Speed, and UHD+ display is top-notch. I must say so far so good, HP Spectre 16" all the way, it is worth the price, Buddies! Go for it.

Versatile even though it cannot support many games. In terms of Office / School work, multitasking is very simple and efficient. Decent Battery Power and good weight. Overall it gets the job done.

Sound quality a professional musician can love

When I bought this laptop, there were only 3 reviews, and one bad review almost had me pass up on this computer.
To be fair, the review came from someone who spoke about the graphics card not being up to par, and I have not done any high level gaming or video editing, but that's not what I bought this laptop for.
I am a professional musician. One of the things that I am always dealing with when looking for laptops with the computing power I need is the speakers. When I am composing or arranging for a full orchestra, I need the same level of power that gaming laptops put out.
An example: a fully orchestrated part will have 26 instruments all playing at the same time, with the notation software running each instrument as an individual file. My old laptop would take about 5 minutes to render all the parts together. This laptop does it in about 30 seconds.
Gaming laptops tend to sacrifice speakers to make space for cooling fans, and they are usually small and off to the sides. This laptop puts the speakers on top, down both sides of the keyboard. The quality of the Bang and Olufsen speakers is top notch, so much so that I do not need to plug in headphones to hear the subtle differences in each part.
If you are looking for a powerhouse computer with excellent sound quality, this is the computer for you.

I am very pleased with that HP Sectre which I have recived. It has got stunning 4K OLED display - for me it's the best thing of it. Touchscreen is gorgeous - also the added stylus is a great plus! Regarding the Intel EVO Platform with Arc GPU - its quiet good - of course not as good as dedicated graphics but for the office and some movie, pictures and CAD programs it works very well. Of course you can also play some games on it - not the newest AAA titles, but it handles little older games quite well. The worst thing about this laptop is the battery - it couldn't run more than 3 or 4 hours of moderate browsing. I have got also M1 MacBook in my home and this a very big difference between the two. But overall its a great laptop with a decent quality!

I had to replace my stolen laptop. This model has more than enough speed and memory. The screen is exemplary in color reproduction and resolution. Was easy to setup and has very good sound. I use the touch screen and included pen routinely without problem. An excellent laptop.

This laptop had a good price and the quality is awesome. It comes with a plastic envelope and a pen. The pen works very good. The laptop is heavy in my opinion. More to use like a desktop pc. However I have to consider that has pretty good specs. Screen is 4k which is amazing. I haven't tried games on it since it is more for productive projects.

This Spectre x360 2-1 has a beautiful 4k plus OLED screen and a new Intel A370 dedicated graphics card. Combine that with 16gb RAM and a fast 512gb SSD and you have a very unique and powerful slim 2-1 laptop. The Intel graphics came out about 6 months ago and were very buggy. Intel has updated the drivers every month since then and with the recently released December update has greatly improved performance. The only negative that I have on the laptop is the battery life is not where I would like it to be. Under typical browsing and other light activities, it will not last a full day (maybe 5.5 hours at most). It does however come with a very fast charger and will charge by USB.

Having 2 other Spectre series laptops i can say the aesthetics of this one are amazing. The sharp edges of past generations have been rounded off, the magnetic latch is the nost robust to date, but not overly so. The display is absolutely gorgeous for a laptop, but that has been for all the Spectre Oled displays. I can say the ir camera for windows hello facial recognition seems a bit better. I would say the only drawback from the last generation Spectre is the camera shut off is a top row key instead of a switch. And the intel GPU which may be fine but i am less familiarized with it compared to the Nvidia offerings of past.
