I've been using this laptop for a couple of weeks, and it's really great! It's basically the updated version of my previous laptop, and it works very well for what I need. It's fast bootup time and processor speed is great, graphics are an upgrade as well. I don't really like Windows 11 though. I'm sure it will get better as I get used to it, but right now it's hard for me to find things. Setup was easy and fast, it was up and running very quickly. It's also lighter than my previous laptop, which is perfect for me. I love having the big screen with a smaller case and lighter weight. I got this on sale for a wonderful price, I had been watching this product for a while, and it was several hunderd dollars lower than list price. I definitely recommend this product! (Full disclosure: I am a multiple tabs open on the browser plus other resource-hog applications running at the same time kind of user. So far, no issues at all)

Great computer with fast speed. I can work on several open tabs at a time. I use this for several work projects through Microsoft Office. Good size storage, nice size screen & esp like the side keyboard for accounting work. Also excellent fit web-surfing & live streaming! Highly recommend this laptop.

Excellent quality for the price. This is my 3rd HP Envy & never disappointed. Great features, easy to use, enough power, speed & memory for our use. Crisp & clear & colors are excellent! Geek Squad (TotalTech now) helped not only in purchasing it by being very patient, professional & aware of our $$ limitations but, set up the computer, installed everything we required incuding everything from our back up drive but, had it ready to go within hours!

I was scared at first, because it was an open box, but it turned out to be the best purchase of electronic items I've ever made. the charge lasts more than three hours, its screen is huge, perfect for working and studying, it is also touchscreen. As is to be expected due to its size, it weighs a bit something that I was not aware of, but I am satisfied with the purchase

I do telepractice from home. At any given moment, I have so many windows open - from several different gmail accounts. I go from my comfy chair to my standup desk & two monitors to my kitchen table as I get restless… this thing never misses a beat. I share from my iPad, iPhone, my tablet, pdf files, - you name it - it integrates everything smoothly. I’ve even accidentally closed it on a couple of occasions, but once I get it opened, it’s quick to recognize me w/the facial recognition software & opens me back up to practically where I left off!!! Yay!! When I’m not using my extra monitors, it’s wide enough to help me split my screens to see what I need to see! Magnificent! Best computer yet! Kudos! Great battery life! Love the flexible charging cord. Great all around fast computer!!

I honestly didn’t have an expectation going into this experience. I grew up as a child of an engineer that worked at Microsoft, so I know computers that run Windows pretty well, and the Windows operating system itself. I know how it can work with the hardware of a device and where it might struggle. And I have to hand it to HP… this laptop blew me out of the water. Since the start of college, I have been a firm Apple device user, never straying from my MacBook and iPad. I got tired of spending thousands to replace my devices and started looking into different options to get out of that “rat race” I’ll call it. I stumbled upon this computer in one of my searches on the Best Buy site. I liked the large screen size, the 10-key, and the good battery life. I wasn’t even aware it was touch screen until after I purchased it (I know, I didn’t pay attention). I have never once tried to find or use a feature on here that couldn’t replace whatever I was missing from my Mac.

This laptop is everything I was looking for. Slim, lightweight and powerful. The graphics are amazing and the 17.3" screen makes it much easier for an older guy like myself to see what I'm doing. Great purchase!!! JB

This is so far the best touchscreen laptop I have used. I took my college age daughters advice and got a back lit keyboard, good call. Also, the keyboard is a good size. I have chubby fingers and I did not need to go purchase a larger keyboard. I thought the screen size would be to big, but, now after having this computer for a month I can say I will never go back to a smaller screen again.

    Windows 11 HOME edition

The laptop is larger than usual IMO with a large touch screen (I didn't know this before purchasing) and full keyboard with 10 key. The setup was easy after getting the CMD to override the internet requirement AND a windows account. There's ONE HDMI port, an SD card port, a TYPE C power port and three ports that have the USB symbol, but don't accept my ancient USB stick. I specifically asked for Windows PRO, but wasn't informed that Windows 11 Home edition was installed. It's an additional $99 dollars from the windows store! The system isn't for gaming, only leisure for me. I would recommend this laptop to anyone who likes using laptops rather than a desktop, but consider the purpose before purchasing as it is pricey. It has a slender design and weighs approximately 7lbs.

This is a great laptop; I've purchased about 10 in the past several months looking for the "one" and finally decided on this. Granted, I'm not oblivious to the tech specs, but for me, it's all about user interaction; the keyboard is good, the keyboard layout makes sense (simple things like one key "home" function etc.), it's sturdy (unlike the equivalent Samsung I purchased) and it doesn't consistently crash. Cons: the monitor seems somewhat strangely engineered. There are two small 'brackets' that connect the monitor to the computer and they seem to make a "popping" sound when encountering any physical resistance, which happens nearly every time it is opened. I'm not 100% sure of the cause, but regardless, it's annoying. I can't tell if it makes it more robust or fragile ultimately, but I suppose something of which to be aware. Also, this thing is HEAVY. Granted, all these cons are the ultimate in first world problems, but for a laptop of this caliber, I'd expect at min. 20% less weight. It also doesn't seem to have the offsetting battery life I would expect in exchange for the heft. Not terrible, but nothing extraordinary, for the imposed bicep curls. Lastly, and most nitpickingly, given the choice between this and any other color, I'd happily have taken blue, black or anything else/darker. Just shows everything, doesn't hold up to wear as well and generally looks a little basic.

This is my third iteration of the HP Envy and each time I need a new laptop there's no better option for me. I'm a casual user, watching video content, browsing workloads, some Office work. This laptop is fast enough, starts fast, has decent resolution and sound. The touchscreen and the keypad with numpad are a must for me, the HP Envy it's actually the best price on these features for the size and aesthetic. I also like the generous space for the wrist, it makes it comfortable to type for long periods.

I've had such great experience with this laptop, I now own three. The first unit was purchased over eight months ago. Setup was a breeze under Windows 11, the touch screen is bright and beatiful. I love the finger print reader, saves me alot of typing, works 99% on the first try. The processor is plenty fast for the office work I use it for. All devices attached easily (Bluetooth, printers), The battery typically lasts only about three hours, but since I use this as a desktop unit I don't care. My only other complait is price, seemed high in this day. But for the value compared to other brands, I shouldn't complain too much. As I mentioned, I have three of these now for myself, wife, and daughter. No quality issues found.

This laptop is absolutely amazing, it's fast, the screen is gorgeous, sound is better than most laptops I have used, the battery life is fantastic. Lots of ports, using it to replace an almost 10 year old HP desktop, so that should tell you how well made HPs are, and FYI the desktop is still working, it's just got a bit bit slow. HP has made a very solid machine here. Did I mention it's super fast!

This is a great laptop! We had a very similar earlier model that we replaced with a different brand. When that one died I shopped around looking for something and kept coming back to this one. It has all the features we wanted. Great storage. Fast processor. Right hard drive. Big screen size. And a number pad, essential for me working with numbers. No complaints about this computer at all!
