Customers have good things to say about the keyboard's quality, battery life, key feel, and wireless functionality, frequently praising its ease of use and comfortable typing experience. A common negative comment centers on the keyboard's price point. Some users also mentioned issues with the software and, less frequently, problems with the space bar.

Best Wireless Illuminated Rechargeable keyboard

This keyboard has the Quiet Tactile keys, each key has smooth travel and confident feel.
Very responsive, can travel about 3.5mm but key press is registered with just 1mm travel.
Keyboard layout is a full size layout with full size keys but manage to have a compact overall size.
Coupled with low profile keys and body height makes this very pretty without compromising typing feel and comfort.
The body is very strong, there is no flex.
This keyboard has some very useful keys such as mute/unmute key, dictation key and emoji key, very convenient for web conference and chat application.
The keyboard also has Smart Illumination - the backlight turns on when hands approach the keyboard.
The backlighting brightness level automatically adjust to ambient condition but you can also manually adjust using the F3 and F4 keys.
There are 6 backlighting effects:
1. Static
2. Contrast
3. Breathing
4. Waves
5. Reaction
6. Random
It can connect up to 3 devices and can easily switch between them. Can connect using either Bluetooth or the included Logi Bolt usb type A receiver.
The Easy-Switch tab in Option+ software shows exactly which devices are paired and method used to paired such as Bluetooth or Logi Bolt.
Requires Logi Option+ software to make full use of the keyboard.
The keyboard is charged using usb-c charging port.
The keyboard is wrapped in paper not plastic, very environmental friendly, kudos.

Great clicky feel

## Design
I’m a big fan of Logitech’s MX Keys keyboard, but it has more of a “mushy” feel as it is a membrane keyboard. This Logitech MX Mechanical keyboard has a more “clicky” feel to it compared to the MX Keys and still maintains the low-profile and comfortable typing experience that Logitech’s MX keyboards are known for.
This keyboard does have backlighting but only in the white color (same as MX Keys). If you’re looking for RGB (multi) color lighting, you won’t find it here. There are several lighting effects you can access by pressing the “fn” key and the “lightbulb” key (volume down).
## Performance
Like the MX Keys, the MX Mechanical keyboard is very comfortable and a joy to type on. It’s louder than MX Keys, but shouldn’t be a major distraction, but the “clicky” is somewhat muted and shouldn’t be a huge distraction to co-workers (or family members, if working from home).
There are additional keys for dictation, emoji, search and muting the microphone, but some of these functions require the Logi Options+ software to work. The Logi Options+ is a bit bloated and slow to come up (and it loads at each reboot, grrrrr).
The MX Mechanical keyboard can connect to your computer (or tablet or smartphone) via Bluetooth or via the Logi Bolt (more on that below) USB receiver.
## Logi Bolt vs Logi Unifying Receiver
One “gotcha” I’ve since learned about: Logitech devices using “Bolt” receivers do not mix with Logitech devices using “Unifying” devices.
Previously, if you purchased a Logitech wireless mouse and keyboard over the past few years, they likely included a small “Unifying” receiver for each device, and you could use Logitech’s software to pair the mouse and keyboard to one receiver to save a USB port.
The Logitech MX Mechanical keyboard uses a Logi “Bolt” receiver which is not compatible with the popular “Unifying” receiver from the past few years. They can not be mixed and matched. If you want to pair this keyboard with a mouse on one receiver, you’ll need to pick up one of Logitech’s newer mice that also uses a “Bolt” receiver. You can then combine the keyboard and mouse to one Bolt receiver using the Logi Bolt app on a computer.
Of course, if your computer supports Bluetooth, you can pair the keyboard via Bluetooth instead of using the Logi Bolt receiver and avoid the drama altogether.
## Battery Life
The keyboard saves battery power by only lighting up when it senses your hands approaching, but I’ve walked by the room and noticed the keyboard lighting up on its own (similar to my MX Keys keyboard). Despite this, the battery seems to last up to a week or so depending on how much I use it.
The keyboard is recharged with in included USB-C cable, but data is not passed through the cable. Therefore, this keyboard cannot be used as a “wired” keyboard.
## Summary
The MX Mechanical keyboard is very comfortable to type on, but is a little louder (and “clickier”) than the MX Keys. You can switch between 3 devices, but this keyboard uses Logitech’s newer “Bolt” nano receiver (instead of the popular “Unifying” receiver used previously) and Bolt devices cannot be paired together with Unifying devices (nor vice versa) on the same receiver.

Great keyboard! Using it for gaming and works perfectly. Battery life is impressive even with using the backlight at full brightness. Easy to customize and connect, keys have a nice mechanical feel but it is quiet and not annoyingly loud like using an old typewriter. Great all around keyboard even has flip out feet to raise the back angle if you prefer. Can easily switch between 3 different computers at a press of a button if you need that functionality. Highly recommend this keyboard!

ONE TO RULE THEM ALL!!!
The Logitech MX Mechanical Keyboard that Is made for productivity. This is a tactile keyboard with amazing feel, performance along with a solid construction. This keyboard has a low-profile design allowing for more comfortable and precision typing. The tactile keys are quiet and provide nice feedback. The MX Mechanical keyboard can be paired up to 3 devices via Bluetooth or a USB Dongle. Switching between devices is as simple as pressing a button. Simply press the easy switch key associated with the device and you are ready to go. Connecting the devices was simple as well. My Windows 11 laptop picked up the keyboard immediately after I powered it on and was ready to go. The MX Keyboard incorporates sort of gamer-style aesthetics into the design of this keyboard with its white multi-pattern and smart illumination and with its aluminum construction. The keyboard lights up as your hands approach the keys and then automatically adjusts the lights based on the lighting conditions. Although some key come pre-programed for your convenience such as the mic mute button, volume controls, brightness controls, screenshot key and voice dictation control, all these keys can be re-programed to your liking using the Logitech Option+ application. The most important thing and my personal favorite feature is that this keyboard has a built-in battery and is recharge via provided USB cable. The keyboard has a 15-day battery life with the lighting feature on and a 10-month battery life with the lighting off. I hate running around trying to find batteries for stuff when you need them to work. Overall, this has become my new keyboard for working from home or even at work. I love the feel, design and the ability to be able to connect one keyboard to multiple devices. I currently have this connected to 2 laptops and my android phone. The only thing I would change is that at this price point, I think a wrist pad should have been included.
PRO:
Aluminum Construction
Low Profile Design
Nice Feedback
Quiet, Performance
Multiple OS – Multiple Device connection (up to 3)
Bluetooth and USB connection
Long Batter Life
CON:
No wrist pad – At this price point, I believe a wrist pad should have been included with the keyboard.

I love mechanical keyboards, but sometimes I dont want to sound like I'm tap dancing on plywood in an empty room. This keyboard has a good balance with the haptic and audible feedback it gives. It is just enough to give you that satisfying mechanical feel, but not audibly explosive like most mechanical keyboards are. It is also decent for general gaming. I use it for work and gaming, and I have no issue with either. The multiple bluetooth connectivity is also a big plus, which can also be used for your phone which I use more than I thought i would. The only negative I have is the rubber on the bottom of the collapsible legs. They are attached with an adhesive tape instead of an integrated retention. I've already lost one foot due to the friction of constant removal from my computer bag. But even missing one rubber pad, it doesnt wobble. I have several keyboards, and this one is my go to for my daily computer needs.

Love it, had a low profile key before. Love typing on the new keyboards. Battery has been great, been like five months and still battery still holds, been using average 8 hours per day. The only con is that their space keycap is different from default, which makes changing to new key cap a pain.

I ended up returning this for the narrower, Mac specific version. This was so wide that it was awkward to use a mouse. Either the mouse is very far to your right and the keyboard is centered, or the keyboard is far to the left that the keys are not centered in front of you so that the mouse is comfortable to reach.
The buttons are located close together so I find it hard to type without hitting others unintentionally. I type more slowly and make more mistakes with this keyboard.
I own a MacBook Pro from 2016 running Monterrey 12.6.2 (todays latest) and the Logitech App doesn't function properly. My settings do not save (chosen backlight for example) although they should and although I am using the keyboard to interface with the app, the app says it cannot detect any keyboards so software cannot be updated. I have tried both plugged in and unplugged, on and off. I have the same issue with the matching MX Master 3X mouse I also own.
If you are a Mac user you should know that the function key is in a different place on these keyboards so if you use the Function + Backspace function for deleting, you need to retrain your brain to hit the correct buttons.
Build quality is high. Battery lasts a long time and charges quickly. Key stroke sounds are satisfying. It has a lot of functions like dedicated buttons for mic mute, screenshot, and switching between computers which could be useful. But I never use them. I would happily lose those and the dongle to save some $ as this keyboard is very expensive, in my opinion.
I have tried several keyboards from several brands in the last 2 months and cannot find one I really like, including this one.

I picked up a Logitech MX Mechanical to get a better daily typing experience in work. Having used mechanical keyboards for PC gaming and my personal computer in the past, I felt that it was time to upgrade my chicklet-style work keyboard to something more robust.
At first glance this keyboard has decent weight and is comparatively slimmer than my gaming keyboard, where its vertical length is about a centimeter shorter. I appreciate the shorter length, as it frees up valuable desk space.
Connectivity options are excellent, with dedicated keys to switch between devices. The Logi Bolt receiver makes life much easier, with just 1 dongle to connect my keyboard and my MX Master 3S to.
The keys themselves don't take that much actuation force to register, and so it allows me to attain even higher WPMs than my other keyboards, increasing my productivity. The key click sound was not disturbing to myself or my colleagues on my Tactile switch-based keyboard, and I found the key feedback to be very satisfying to the touch.
I was disappointed that the keycaps are not double-shot PBT for a keyboard of this caliber and price, but the keycaps themselves feel satisfying to press and the plastics felt of higher quality than other keyboards in the office.
Overall the MX Mechanical is one of the best productivity keyboards available, with several options to connect to your computer, excellent typing experience, and satisfying key feedback. It's on the pricier end of the spectrum, but if found on sale, this is a hard keyboard to beat.

I bought this after my Corsair keyboard failed, this has been a very nice keyboard. I've only had to recharge it twice so about once a month, even leaving it on at night just checking to see how long it'll lasts. As an everyday board it's been good for gaming and it's been good for work.

Sometimes it’s really worth it to spend a little extra on something you use a lot, and this keyboard is certainly one of those instances. The battery lasts really well. I can use both this keyboard and my wireless mouse (also Logitech) on Bluetooth at the same time, which is awesome. And the icing on the cake is typing on this keyboard- I like the feel of a mechanical keyboard so much over the clicking clack of a low end keyboard.

In my search for a mechanical keyboard with low-profile keys, there were not many options that I found to be suitable. I, in general, prefer my peripherals to be wired, as I hate the hassle of charging a keyboard or mouse when I am in the middle of important work. However, this keyboard has excellent battery life, and the typing experience couldn't be better. I have noticed improved typing speeds and accuracy since purchasing this product. The keys being labeled for both Windows and OS X is also a nice touch, as I use this keyboard with a KVM monitor to connect to my PC and MacBook.

Best feeling keyboard I've ever owned - full stop. Swaps between my PC and Macs with ease and the keystrokes feel excellent.

I'd give this a 3.5 if I could, 3 seems a little harsh but 4 is too positive. The typing experience of this keyboard is great, I love the mx-brown-like keys, and it looks nice.
However, it's missing the print screen button which still bothers me several months after owning it. The backlight will also not stay on no matter what. Even if it's plugged in, the backlight turns off after a few seconds. It's supposed to turn on when your hands are near the keyboard, but that just doesn't work reliably. It feels like such a weird design choice and it's especially annoying when using the keyboard in the dark.
If this was half the price I'd be more accepting of those flaws, but for $170 it feels like those are big corners to cut.

Great keyboard, worth every penny. The only "bad" thing I'd say is that if you are a sloppy typist, this keyboard will demand that you get better, meaning the keys are really sensitive; if you bump an adjoining key while typing, you'll get both keystrokes. But in my opinion that's not a bad thing. It's forced me to be more accurate of a typist. Programmable keys are great, everything works as expected. Battery life has been really good so far; in the approx. 2 months I've had this keyboard I've recharged it twice but both times it still had 85% of power remaining and I'm using the backlight option. Really worth the price.

I really like this mechanical keyboard. I like knowing that I have properly pushed a key and the keyclick is good, it feels just right. It's basically a wireless keyboard, but I like to plug it in just to maintain the battery charge. There is only one thing that I don't like. I can't figure out how to activate the NumLock feature, so when I first turn on my computer I have to use the regular keyboard numbers for my PIN. I poked around a while to see if there was some secret trick, but if so, I sure couldn't find it. Otherwise It's a great keyboard.
