    Was not a simple hook up. Had to go through a connection process that was a pain. The person who I had help me get it set up, who was familiar with computers hated it. After a couple hours we got it to work. It did print fast. However the printer keeps reverting back to 8X14 paper size and it causing delays..

    HP printer 4001ne was not wireless as described and told by best buy employee, also the geek squad tried helping me connect via over the phone with no luck, contacted the hp help line with no luck after spending over a hour, hired a technician to help with situations and out an additional 80 bucks.

    Do not buy this printer! First I bought a 4001dn which had a burning smell so I returned it then bought another from best buy and it had a burning smell too! Then this one had an E in the name so it requires an account at HP which neither the business nor I (their IT) want! They demanded it be returned and I won't buy HP ever again if all their printers require you to activate with HP

    We have always purchased HP for our office printers, but now there is an app you have to load to install. These printers no longer work in a network and wire setting because of this and we had to return because we couldn't use.

    Why do you need to log into HP website to install? Even then it is very difficult to follow. Been trying for a week to get it to work. Would recommend discussing installation with the store before buying.

    I only selected one star because I had to. DO NOT BUY THIS PRINTER. I made the mistake of buying two of them and have spent hours with HP Technical support trying to get them connected so that I can print. It is not worth it, buy something else. HP should have recognized that if you need technical support to install a printer, something is seriously wrong and they have department dedicated to this.

    This is a great office printer when you are looking for Black and White without extra items if you don't need them. We use this model for most of our staff. The toner price per page is good and the speed is excellent for daily work.
