Customers highly value the lightweight design, comfort, and responsiveness of the G502 X Wired USB Optical Gaming Mouse with HERO 25K Sensor. Many appreciate the numerous programmable buttons and the improved scroll wheel, while some find the software and price to be less satisfactory. I had a G502 for a few years and loved it and upgraded to the G502 X. Its slightly bigger and took a week to get used to the size but its so much lighter its incredible. No issues with the buttons or scroll wheels. No software issue. Mouse is durable

Happy you love the G502 X! Lighter weight, bigger size (took a week to adjust), but same great durability and button feel. No software issues either.

Adjustable sensitivity, adjustable scroll wheel, comfy, and light. Moves smoothly and effortlessly. What else do you need in a mouse?

I had bought this mouse to replace the G502 I previously had, which was experiencing some double-clicking issues. It retains the same, or better comfort in my opinion, while shaving off some of the weight, making it easier to use without really sacrificing anything. I like the rubber grip added to the mouse wheel, the previous version had a metal wheel which felt sharp sometimes.

If you like the other G502 mice, I'm sure you'll like this one just as much and more. It's ridiculously lightweight compared to the OG HERO. The one thing annoys me is that, and supposedly this is a fix, they made the thumb buttons easier to press. I never once had problems hitting my thumbs buttons on the OG HERO but now I certainly have problems with hitting them all the time! I almost have to consider leaving them unbinded because of how detrimental to my gaming experience they've become. I play a lot of Battlefield 1 still and I use my thumb buttons for my gas mask so, quite frequently, I'm shooting an enemy and then my guy randomly puts his gas mask on and I die. Never had that happen with my old mouse. On the flip side, my hands are fairly large so I always had a problem with having to keep my ring finger and pinky finger curled so that I could move my mouse freely on the OG HERO. This one is arched up higher so I don't have to do much acrobatics to keep my hand out of its own way anymore. Overall, decent mouse but Ghub is still a brain-dead application. On a sidenote, the materials they used feel way cheaper. The plastic probably saved a lot of weight but I feel like I'm using a mouse off Temu sometimes.
Thank you for your feedback on the G502 X Wired USB Gaming Mouse. We appreciate you taking the time to share your experiences. We're glad to hear you appreciate the lightweight design and improved ergonomics. It's designed to provide a more comfortable and efficient gaming experience.

This is personally my favorite mouse, in a cheaper and faster form. I like a wide mouse with a bit of weight to it. The many programmable buttons on this help a ton and logitechs software is great.

Bought this after having a few G502 Hero SE's break relatively quickly.
As someone who spends probably 70+ hours a week at my desk(I know, definitely not healthy) and is pretty aggressive with clicking/scrolling all day reading code, I've put this mouse through the ringer for 18+ months and it's still going strong.
While the build quality is great, the weight also feels smooth in the hands and has a premium feel without appearing too much like a gamer mouse.

For the price this is the best bang for your buck in terms of gaming mice. Responsive and the buttons are very ergonomic. Had the old G502 Proteus G before and this is basically the same thing just with no way to change the weight. Its a little on the lighter side for me but that’s preference. Can’t get much better for this for the price.

This is the G502 X which is almost identical to the G502 Hero with the difference that the Left side button called sensitivity clutch or sniper button is removable and this is the reason I picked it up where on G502 Hero the button is not removable but it cost a lot less than the X model. I hate mice with this sniper button because is blocking my thumb to grip mouse comfortable, they have it also on Razer Basilisk and Corsair M65 pro, so I was very surprised to see Logitech make it removable and there is a little magnetic piece that attached to the hole once button is removed. Other than that the mouse is accurate, buttons click nice but little loud, cord is not braided. The only downside is it's a little heavy and the side buttons are easy to click accidentally when you don't need to. Also the price is very high at $79 compared to the G502 Hero which on sale go at $35. Logitech need to make the sniper button removable on all mice that have it, not just on this one, and all other manufacturers as well.

I have ownwe previous models, and i have to say this one is by far the best wired for the G502 l. Its first of its kind to be lightweight, in comparison to others and the the new hybrid clicks are just so responsive and sound great . No RGB on these but who cares. You wont see it if your glued to the screen anyways.

This mouse is a great improvement over the past 502 hero. The feet are smoother, the sensor is better, and the weight is lighter.

Easy to set up and start using. Companion software could be better, but that's Logitech for you. I wish the cable was replaceable, even if the mouse is wired only. I've had problems in the past with mice having their cables die and would not want the same to happen here, given the extra price.

Best modern gaming mouse with quick wheel, enough programmable buttons and comfortable in hand. The wireless version seems a bit inferior for my purposes because of battery life so I went wired. The only hiccup is the horrible Logi G software. Their old software, Setpoint, was much more reliable.

I had the old G502 and now I have the G502X wired and I really like it more than the old one.
I feel like all the buttons are more usable than on the old one and the weight is better.

My favorite and original mouse, Razer Basilisk V2 is superbly comfortable and ironically considered a clone. It's moderately more comfortable in my opinion.
However this one edges out on buttons and software. The four side buttons (or 5 if you change the snipe button) and software allows for extensive macros which puts it in functionality as the winner.
So Tied.

Unlike the G502 Hero, it doesn’t have an option for adjustable weights, but if you’re into light mice, this is a solid choice. I removed the optional side button because it slightly got in the way of my thumb, though this does mean losing one customizable button.

Lightweight and so many buttons. 84g is heavy by today’s standards but honestly its less than an ounce heavier than the g pro “superlight” and has something like 5-6 extra mappable buttons easy decision for me.
