Customers are saying

Customers find value in the G502 X PLUS LIGHTSPEED's exceptional battery life, lightweight design, and responsive performance. Many appreciate the comfortable ergonomics, customizable RGB lighting, and the ease of use with its software. Actually a fan of a heavier mouse and if you turn off the rgb you get great battery life

Interesting to hear you prefer a heavier mouse – the G502 is definitely customizable in that way. And good call on the battery life – turning off RGB lighting can make a big difference.

I was super sad when my original G502 died, but when I saw this on the shelf I was overjoyed. It's my favorite mouse shape, and I don't have to re-learn the button layout for macros. It's really light though.

I REALLY wanted to like this mouse. I loved the look of it, and I liked the surplus of buttons, but it came up short in a couple major ways. I bought it AND the Razer Basilisk V3 Pro Wireless (SKU: 6514426) to do a side by side because they both came recommended as the best wireless, non-ultralight gaming mice with a focus on buttons and customization. The following is a summary of my main issues with this mouse: 1. The infinite scroll is either on, or off, meaning there's no "Smart Scroll" style feature. This feature either engages the clicky scroll, or the infinite scroll depending on how fast you throw the scroll wheel. This feature is common on Logitech's MX series of mice and it's available on the Razer Basilisk V3 Pro Wireless Mouse, so I'm not sure why Logitech went this route. The control button for this feature is under the wheel itself, and it's physical, meaning you can't reprogram it for other functions, which again, you can on the other models I mentioned. 2. It doesn't have Bluetooth. This is a fairly common feature for a mouse at this price, and if you are the type who has a couple device's you want to switch between, it's a must, but it might not be a deal breaker for you. The Basilisk has both 2.4ghz wireless and Bluetooth. 3. It has onboard control/profile storage, but it doesn't store your RGB settings. This means you either are stuck using Windows RGB controller, or you need to download and KEEP "G Hub" on your machine and running all the time, which if you already have ALL Logitech device's, this might not be a big deal. Either that or you can't use your RGB. It's WILD they didn't include this, as I don't think I've ever seen a gaming peripheral fail to include it when they have onboard storage already. Maybe it's just me but I don't like having several different controller's running at the same time. Also, I couldn't get it working with SignalRGB, only Windows RGB. To sum up, if you're looking for a GREAT gaming mouse that focus's more on buttons and customization rather than weight, I can't recommend the G502X over it's bigger, better and badder competition, the Razer Basilisk V3 Pro Wireless. The Logitech MX line of mice also fixes most of the shortcummings of the 502X, but they aren't specificly gaming mice. So with that all said, my recommendation (though obvious) is the Razer Basilisk V3 Pro (SKU: 6514426).

Moved on from a G703 Lightspeed to this when I decided I wanted a few more buttons on the mouse itself. First good impressions are that it feels good, looks good and appears to be high quality, which it should for the price. Now the bad: -the supplied cord is stiff and rubber coated so if the mouse dies and you have to use it wired, it really adds resistance when using. (image) -there is not enough room on the left side for your thumb without the top of your thumb constantly touching the side buttons which is annoying especially if you have somewhat of a claw grip. I feel like this mouse is better suited for a palm grip for sure. (image) -dont like that the scroll wheel switch button is right below the scroll wheel which pushes the G9 button further down and harder to get to with your pointer finger. Its an important button/bind that i like to use. (image) -The click/switch travel for both left and right click seems a bit far for a high priced mouse like this. My G703 has almost half the travel distance to click. Overall its a decent mouse, but it carries a hefty price as well and im a bit disappointing in the things i outlined above. I'm hoping I'll get use to it all and be more happy with time. My suggestion though, if you dont need or want the extra 2 buttons next to Left click, get the G703 Lightspeed. Its an extremely good mouse for half the price and imo has a better feel and shape than this one.

The Logitech G502 X Plus is just awesome. Its a perfect blend between FPS and an MMO mouse. The mouse is a bit big and weighs in at around 100 grams, but it isn’t that noticeable. All the buttons are easily accesible and it can drag click pretty fast. The software is also easy to use, except that its a bit hard to set it up the first time. The only bad thing about it is that you can’t change the debounce time.

    DPi Shift Buttons to BIG

Same size as the G502 lightspeed. Another review said X is bigger; but I cannot see it. My only problem is the DPi Down and DPi UP are to big and get in the way of the side buttons...FORWARD....and.....BACK....the DPi buttons I am referring to are on TOP...on the left side and OVERLAP the BACK and FORWARD buttons....its really annoying. One MAJOR difference is the weight. This X Mouse is SUPER LIGHT while the G502 older version is SUPER HEAVY compared to this one and I mean a Very Noticeable Difference. See pictures for difference in Size of DPi side buttons and also the size of unit. Love the mouse but dislike the huge DPi buttons.
