Bought to have as main toaster and have other features but honestly toasting feature is just never the same each time you go to toast something (even if using same options). But otherwise works great, would recommend but not as a main toaster

Game-changer in the world of countertop appliances

I didn't expect to be impressed by any new oven technologies, but here we are! This Ninja double-oven is a game-changer! Setup =============== Be prepared for a large box to be delivered! You can see in the picture, that this Ninja double-oven really dwarfs my Breville smart oven. We've used that little guy for years but the convection fan is broken (common issue with that model) so it's "just" a normal oven, though it's a good one! Unboxing is a non-event, but it's nice to see all the stuff you get! Obviously there's the oven, but you'll get trays, air frying trays, a crumb-catching tray, and thermometer. Place this on your counter, plug it in, and you're pretty much good to go! The instruction manual is worth reading for some unique things like Smart Finish which will ensure both ovens finish at the same time and a chart of cook times for various foods and methods like dehydrating fruits/vegetables, etc. Note - the manual recommends adding cook time to both ovens if you're using them both simultaneously. I was confused by this because when you set a time/temperature, isn't that enough? It turns out that things work out pretty well! Usage/Testing =================== We used our little old Breville every day so we had a good idea of what to expect out of an oven, but this double-oven really impressed us! We first started with simple things like bagels on top and some sweet potato fries/nuggets on the bottom. As you can imagine, these have wildly different cooking times and temperatures, but the Ninja nailed it! The top oven is perfect for flat foods like bagels and pizzas and you still have another whole oven to use for whatever! Note - the bottom oven/fan does get loud when it's air frying/convection cooking but it's not a problem, just louder than our old one. Next, we tried spanokopita on top and some nuggets/zucchini on the bottom. We noted two things: 1 - We probably should have turned the spanokopita in the middle of cooking (our fault since the manual recommends turning the food during cooking) since one half was clearly cooked more than the other. 2 - Definitely add a few more minutes of cooking time when using both simultaneously (easy to do by selecting the top/bottom oven and turning the knob). Since then, we've done simple reheating, toasting flautas, and even air-frying mackerel and everything turned out great! Conclusion ================ Yes, it's a bit taller but if you can fit it on your counter, it's a great double-oven! If you find yourself constantly preparing two or more things that you used to have to cook one after the other, definitely look into this Ninja double-oven! Yes, the fan is a bit louder than our old Breville, but buttons/knobs make the Ninja super-easy to use and the fact that you can cook two wildly different things at the same time can help you get your meals done faster! Taking advantage of the Smart Finish can make sure that everything's done at the same time so you don't end up with cold fries by the time your main protein is ready! Again - I didn't expect to be impressed with a relatively simple device like an oven, but the Ninja 12-in-1 Smart Double Oven is a game-changer! It has clearly defeated our old Breville and will be our daily go-to appliance!

Another Need to Have Hit From Ninja!

THIS…. Is the Ninja 12-in-1 Smart Double oven, not to be mixed up with any other 11,12,13,14 in one’s from ninja because this is THE 12 in 1 to have! To start, it is quite simply an eye catcher in your kitchen… and not just because it is rather large, but because the stainless steel and the interface are so clean and premium looking that you can’t help but look at it with googly eyes. It uses buttons and nobs to interface, so you don’t have to worry about a greasy touch screen or some odd app to control your oven. With the premise being laid out, lets take a deeper look at the Ninja 12-in-1 Smart Double oven! Smart vs Non-Smart =================== Lets start with some confusion - This 12-in-1 Double oven comes in two ‘trims’ - One ‘Smart’ and one that isn’t ‘Smart’.... So what does that mean if they both have ‘smart features? The ‘smart’ double oven comes with the temperature probe so you can use the smart finish, and it only cost $20 more at MSRP which is an absolute no brainer as the smart finish tech alone is worth $20 before being able to see the temp of your turkey, chicken, pork…etc while cooking without having to open the door (on both the top and bottom) to test the temp of your meat while it is cooking and letting alllllllll that heat out - So while you can get it without the temp probe, I highly suggest you burn that extra $20! Setup =================== The hardest part about setting this thing up is making sure you have clearance for it, and mind you the door doesn't go ‘flat’ due to the handle… but it gets close enough that it wasn't a hassle or second thought for me with 5lbs of chicken in and out of the bottom. There isn’t any app to download or weird setup process - if you need to use the temp probe you plug it in and follow the directions… if not… you just put in your time and temp! Setup is a breeze, and the ninja comes with everything you need to bake, broil and air fry. Honestly was standing there with my Fiancé after taking it out of the box in that ‘now what’ phase as it really is just a plug and go setup, NICE! Function =================== First, lets go over exactly what the ‘12’ is, in this 12-in-one: TOP OVEN— Bake, broil, reheat, keep warm, bagel, and toast. BOTTOM OVEN— Air fry, convection bake, pizza, air roast, whole roast, and dehydrate. This is obviously more than enough function for just about everyone, the only thing I wish it had was air fry on the top but… I have never ran into something where I needed to air fry two things at once and couldn’t in the bottom, or rapid bake in the top. NOTE - You will need to preheat this oven just like you do with all other ovens, however, this oven preheats insanely fast?! It is always done preheating in 5 minutes or less and usually beats me before I am done prepping my food. What you Should know =================== -You cannot air fry on the top oven -You can open the top without opening the bottom, but if you open the bottom, you have to open the top. -You CANNOT remove the middle divider to expand your space, it is structural. -it comes with ONE grease catch for air frying on the bottom, but if you are messy (all fingers pointed at me here), you might want to buy another for the top. - The directions that come with this oven are great, and if you take the time to sift through the quick start guide, teaches you everything you need to know in a multistep format that just WORKS! Things I really liked =================== -I really enjoyed that there was two rack positions in the bottom oven, so that if you have to small items you can really cook 3 things at once using the top and bottom - and then seal out the smell of one of them if you are worried (ie. nuggets and fries on the bottom, cookies on top). -The lights aren’t just always on, you turn them on and they elegantly swoosh on and then have a self timer to turn back off. -It isn’t really that loud to be honest! For sure quieter than a microwave and quiet enough to have a conversation next to it as well. Things I didn’t like =================== -I wish it came with a crumb catcher for the top as well, I understand the top should be cleaner, but something there to catch in case it makes a mess would be nice. -I wish it had an app at least to send me a notification when it is done, this replaced my tovala, and that sent me a notification when my food was done which is always nice so I can leave the kitchen or not have to be an arms length away. Is the Smart Seal Legit? =================== Yes! Cookies on top, chicken on the bottom and a Lady that would sniff a molecule of one on the other and it passed! Cookies were cookies, and the chicken was chicken! My Fiancé is insanely picky when it comes to cross contamination, and this genuinely worked perfectly! I love this feature and makes me want to use it more knowing I don’t have to worry about the mixing of scents and tastes. Conclusion =================== Let me say one thing before I wrap this up - I think that Ninja goes crazy with their marketing considering this is a 12 in one being advertised to feed x amount of people with wings and pizza in x amount of time. This can do that, it can do 12 things also, but it cannot do 12 DIFFERENT things - the 12 in one derives from 6 functions from the top and 6 functions from the bottom to really be a 12-in-2 which is fine… I just wish it was presented that way. ANYWAYS… This is by far the best countertop appliance I have used, and I have used several brands of countertop ovens and air fryers. While this one is expensive considering it is $350 MSRP, it is also an investment in how well and quick you want to cook your food. This is an easy guilt free purchase that will level up your kitchen, and I have enjoyed my time with it… even just looking at it! Ninja has killed it with this product and again reminded us why they are the pinnacle of countertop appliances yet again! As always, BestBuy has excellent customer service and return policy, so you never have to worry about buying a product that you don’t like… so why not test it out?! What Comes in the box =================== Oven 2 Sheet Pans 2 Wire Racks Wire Air Fry Basket Crumb Tray (one) Thermometer (magnetic to side of machine) Quick Start Guide/ Manual Power cord is affixed to the oven and cannot be removed

Great Double Oven for kitchen counter.

This is a cool concept for a busy family with low time after work/school for dinner. I was excited to get this as we often have a wait to use the oven. Unboxing this was easy. It included the oven and several trays for all of the needed functions since due to the space your pans would not fit well. One thing I was looking for was a smart app thinking the smart name meant an app of some sort. Well, there was no app. Otherwise, it was up and running in 10 min. I proceeded to cook some pizzas and the preheating was very fast unlike a traditional oven. I did like that but did not feel it cooked them faster. Also, when your used to an oven where you preheat this works a little different. Since the preheat is fast. You basically put the food in and set the temp and time. When you hit start part of your time is the preheat but it is so fast it does not take away from the cooking time. I still found the food cooked. I just wish this had a way to preheat then a beep or something to start the timer. I also cooked some cookies in the top tray and some pizza rolls on the bottom. They were both cooked well and did not smell or taste like they were baked together. I unfortunately did not have anything to dehydrate or air fry. I also do wish it was able to perform a microwave function also at a lower temp. I personally nuke a frozen meal and frozen veggies and this was not able to do that without burning them. Maybe that could be the 13th feature in a gen 2? The downsides are the size as it is big on the counter, so we felt like it took a lot of our space on the counter. Also, the top does get hot. It does have a symbol, but it is small and can easily be overlooked. I wish there was some better shielding or something to make it more obvious for the younger kids in the family as I would not want them to get burnt. In summary this device is as advertised, and I feel like for the family that cooks many things at once or wants to save energy vs the traditional oven. Then this is a great addition to the kitchen. I just wish there was a smaller model as it takes a lot of space on the counter.

As an avid home cook that routinely cooks for a household of 8, I was blown away by the Ninja 12-in-1 Smart Double Oven. It truly lives up to its advertising claims and offers numerous time-saving features that make cooking so much better I can’t even say it in words. The dual oven setup is a game-changer for busy households, allowing you to cook two separate dishes at different temperatures simultaneously which you know is a thing if you have a multi child household. Plus, the flavor seal technology keeps distinct aromas from mixing which again is a huge thing for my kids if there’s any “wrong” smell they won’t touch the food I spend hours on which is extremely frustrating. The Flex door is also a helpful feature, allowing you to access one dish without disrupting the other by letting the heat out. Features like this just keep coming and coming and make everything that you have to break your brain on just work, and EASY! One thing I was pleasantly surprised by was how quickly the oven preheats. I often times avoided making things in my gas oven because it takes FOREVER to heat up so this is a welcome change and in fact a game changer for my impatience when I’m trying to cook for my 6 kids. One thing you should keep in mind is this unit is fairly large but not more so than a large microwave (see my photos to compare to an LG one I have which matches the stainless perfectly). So make sure to check dimensions beforehand to make sure you have enough counter space or if you don’t that you make some because this thing is worth its weight in gold. The air fryer option was also great as we somehow have never had an air fryer and just a couple older convection ovens which are aged at this point but delivering perfectly crispy results without overcooking or burning is always remarkable. If you haven’t had the pleasure of using an air fryer just note it makes frozen things as if you bought them from the drive through and if you have kids you know this is key to keeping them happy! Despite the initial investment, the Ninja Smart Double Oven includes everything you need to cook, bake, air fry, and do anything you can do but like a pro because the thing just works. The smart leave-in thermometer is a particularly helpful accessory, allowing you to monitor the temperature of your food without having to open the oven and let out heat since it snakes through the doors which is once again game changing as some food boxes say get internal temp to X degrees rather then a cook time and you always have to pull it out to check and loose all your heat in the process. Overall, I highly recommend this beast of a kitchen appliance to anyone who values efficiency in the kitchen and wants to simplify their cooking process without sacrificing quality. It's truly a game-changer for anyone who loves to cook at home.

I cannot stress how cool this 12-in-1 from Ninja is. Coming from someone who does not cook very often, the convenience and stress free setup is an absolute win. It has two ovens, a top and bottom, and you can set different options for each individually (which is so cool!). The bottom is used to air fry (the top oven you cannot air fry, but that is not an issue). The top you can bake, toast, reheat, and broil and the bottom you can air fry, roast, dehydrate, convention bake, and air roast. You can open the top oven without opening the bottom. There is a convenient button on the top handle you can push to just open the top door. The oven also comes with a good amount of accessories which include two sheet pans, two wire racks, Air fry basketCrumb tray, 15-recipe guide, and a Foodi Smart Thermometer. The Thermometer allows you to verify the temperature of what you are cooking without having to open the doors, thus keeping the heat in and allowing you to only open the door when you are ready to enjoy what you are cooking! Another really cool part of this design in the Smart Seal, which seals the top from the bottom so there is no cross contamination. This means you chicken does not taste like fish and via versa (assuming you are cooking both at the same time). Overall, I am thoroughly pleased with this 12-in-1 from Ninja. So much so that I might pick up cooking. The setup is super simple, the design in elegant and solid, and the functionality is on point. You cannot go wrong with this 12-in-1 oven from Ninja.

    This Thing Is Awesome

This thing is awesome. As it basically takes multiple different appliances and puts them into a singular small unit. It is separated into two different compartments. The top one is small with the bottom one being bigger. The top and bottom also have their own settings. With the top pretty much securing anything that a toaster or toaster oven would do. Perfect for toast, bagels, reheating food, keeping food warm, or putting a bit of crisp on something. Where the bottom is for cooking something from scratch and includes an air frier. Some features that I really enjoyed. In no order. - The light will turn on while cooking occasionally to notify you of the progress along with at the end in case you need to stop it early. You can enable it manually, where it will turn on for about 30 seconds and then turn back off again. It does illuminate both the top and bottom. - After you used the oven it will say “HOT” on the display so other family members know it is hot. This is probably one of my favorite features. It doesn’t take a whole lot of time to cool off either. - The display is very crisp, with large font, and easy to read. If using both the top and bottom it has counters and displays for both so you always are aware of both. - It heats up SUPER fast. Say 450 degrees from about 68-degree room temp takes about 2 minutes for the top oven. Much better than the traditional large oven we have. - It is relatively quiet. There is a fan which activates which is the loudest part. But even that is quiet. Most of the time I wasn’t aware it was on (from a noise perspective). - When you are baking something it will say preheat, then it will immediately go into the countdown timer. It is easy to reset the timer. - The jingle for the timer is pleasant but doesn’t repeat itself (that I noticed but didn’t wait very long either). - Material of the baking sheets seems really good and non-stick. As nothing we have done has stuck. - The unit is very straightforward and easy to use. Some things that I didn’t like. - The front, sides, and top do get a bit warm. Which is to be expected but just in case you were looking for something that isn’t that way. - It comes with limited accessories. Baking sheet only allows for 9 cookies as it is uneven on the surface making the edges unusable. - Also, noticed some staining on the sheets already that won’t come out from previously baked food. BUILD QUALITY: - The entire unit is professional looking, each button has a satisfying click, none of the bottoms wobble. - The dial is so satisfying to use, while being sensitive, and doesn’t wobble. They nailed it. - Each of the included items is well made and easy to clean. - To open just the top you simply press the button on the handle. To open both you just pull it like a normal oven. It is well balanced where I never had issues with it tipping when opening the unit. - Each of the items goes in smoothly. - It even has a thermometer that it comes with that can plug into the side, and magnetically attaches. This does not monitor your food inside the oven just when you pull it out you can check it real fast. CONCLUSION: This has become the most popular item in our kitchen. As not only does it do everything faster than our normal oven, but does it just as well, while doing more, without heating up the house. It is perfect for non-traditional kitchen spaces as well (downstairs, college dorm, etc) or when you have a lot of company coming over for the holidays and are cooking multiple things at once. A huge fan as it just looks awesome, works well, is easy to use, and reduces the time spent on preparing so I can do other things. Some examples of what we used it for: Toast: One of my personal favorite features. You can select how many slices (1 – 6) along with how well done (1 – 7). I usually do two slices at level 4 and it comes out golden brown all the way around. Then it has a sheet that you can easily remove to get rid of the crumbs. Cookies: Set the top to bake, the degrees, and minutes, and you are all set. This varies a bit from our normal oven. So finding the perfect amount is still a work in progress. Also, found that the sheet it comes with only fits 9 cookies over the normal 12 in a regular oven. Reheat/Broil: At first I tried reheat, but opted to switch to broil for warming up my Pizza today for lunch. Set it for 2:30 and it warmed everything up along with putting a crisp to the crust so it was still soft but crunch. Air Fry: We air fried some chicken tenders. It cooked it perfectly. Conv Bake: We cooked some pork chops. We didn’t get the timing perfect on this one. So probably the worst meal we had out of it. But still moist and good.

Cookies and Wings at the Same Time!

I had cookies and chicken wings cooked and finished at the same time just in time for our party. End of review, 5 out of 5 stars. I’m kidding about the end of the review, I can’t heap enough praise on the Ninja 12-in-1 Smart Double Oven. It does so much in a relatively compact form. In fact, we’re going to get rid of our toaster because this Ninja toasts better than our dedicated machine. If you are in the market for an air fryer, an oven, a toaster, a pizza oven, or something else along those lines, why not buy a machine that does it all! Especially when it can do two different things at the same time and sync up their cook time while keeping smells separate. If you are a regular party host like we are, this is a lifesaver. Smart finish is what allows you to sync up your cooking times so that both ovens finish at the same time. You simply set your top oven, set your bottom then hit that smart finish button and all of a sudden, the headache of trying to time out multiple foods cooked in multiple ways is over. It’s a genius solution that works flawlessly. Both ovens are also sealed from each other, so when I made appetizers and deserts, one never smelled like the other. My two small gripes are that the power cord is a little short. Most people have a lot of outlets in their kitchen but we don’t so we had to do some rearranging. Second, and this makes sense but I still wish it could be different, is that the two ovens do different things. The other day I wanted to air fry a lot of stuff and filled up the air fryer tray on the bottom. I went to add them to the top but there is no air fry function on the top oven. It has bake so I made it work and used smart finish so they finished early so it really wasn’t that big of a deal but I still wish that they were essentially identical ovens stacked on top of each other. All in all, if you even remotely think you could get some use out of the Ninja 12-in-1 Smart Double Oven, just buy it. It’s a lifesaving appliance that I never expected, but always needed. Pros: Smart Finish allows you to sync finish times so your food is cooked and ready at the same time Large capacity So many functions! (12 to be exact) Double oven that’s sealed so your cookies don’t smell like chicken wings Trays, pans, and metal racks included Keep in thermometer Cons: The two ovens have mostly different functions (for example I can’t use both for air frying, just the bottom oven) Power cord is a little short if you’re far from an outlet

    A Must Have Double Oven!

Ninja Smart Double Oven was definitely a great buy for our family. I have never owned any type of stand alone counter top ovens and always wondered if it would add any value to our kitchen and cooking/baking overall. I found this Double Oven very useful and practical. For those of you thinking this is a Smart oven that can be connected to your Wi-Fi network, maybe disappointed as it is not that type of oven. The smarts in this oven are mostly practical features like two ovens in one, a leave-in thermometer and user friendly interface. This is a pretty hefty oven and you will understand why when you open the box. It is supplied with 2 Sheet Pans, 1 Air Fry Basket (which I love!), 2 Wire Racks (each one fits a 12" pizza) and a removable crumb tray for easy cleaning. Ninja also threw in a Chef created recipe book with 15 different and delicious ideas to cook in this oven. I like the fact that it only took about 3 mins to heat to 350F compared to my Wall Oven that literally takes forever! I could not believe how fast it was at first! I have some nice yeast rolls that were frozen and decided to give it a try in the upper part of the oven, and simultaneously I decided to bake the same rolls in the lower part of the oven. Both bakes results were quick and I had to watch the top part more closely as it was baking the rolls faster due to the closeness of the heating elements. There is a nice touch to this oven - the light automatically comes on within a minute or two of it being ready. I really look forward to making some chicken in it as well as use the Air Frier! I have never tried Air Roasting my meats, so this will be my next project with this Double Oven. This oven is definitely worth being in my kitchen and will be used a lot by us!

    A Smart Oven Indeed

This is an overall impressive addition to a home kitchen. It not only elevates cooking to the next level, but it also simplifies the process through intuitive settings and functions. I have been looking to replace my ten-year-old toaster oven and this Ninja 12-in-1 Smart Double Oven checked all the boxes and then some. Packaging The oven came very well-packaged and safe from any shipping bumps that can occur. I would say I wish it would be easier to get out of the box, perhaps some handles somewhere to grip and pull it out, but that is about it. Set-Up Setting the appliance up was quick and simple. Just place it in its designated area and plug it in. Wash and dry the provided accessories. Initiate the initial burn-off cycle that is recommended by Ninja. This helps burn off any residue from manufacturing so that it is ready to go once you put food in it. Just make sure you have a stove fan and/or open windows because it will smell while it does this. Included The oven comes with a plug-in thermometer that comes in a magnetized storage. It comes with 2 trays, an air fry basket, an easy-clean crumb tray, and a manual with recipes. Functionality If you have had any other of Ninja’s latest gadget, this functions just like those. Same beeping sounds and similar settings. Incredible ease of setting up the desired mode and setting, just click the button and use the turn dial, then press the turn dial to start. The top oven has the functions: broil, toast, bagel, reheat, and keep warm. The bottom oven has the functions: whole roast, air roast, air fry, convection bake, pizza, and dehydrate. Heating up to temp is amazingly quick, it takes only a few minutes. There is a setting called “Smart Finish” that allows you to set both top and bottom ovens to finish simultaneously when there are cook-time differences. The thermometer works incredibly well. I cooked a whole roast with the chicken preset and the finished product looked like a beautiful store rotisserie chicken and remained juicy. The great thing about the thermometer is that the oven door closes perfectly over it. I also love the magnetized storage it comes in because I can choose where I stick it on to the oven. The flex door works seamlessly, press the button and only open the top, or pull the whole handle to open the entire door. A pleasant surprise for me was the light. I am not used to toaster ovens with light and this is so helpful to look inside and assess level of doneness without opening the door and letting the heat out. Once the timer is up, the machine turns off. The manual clearly depicts what accessory to use where depending on what your cooking goal it. One thing I would add to this that I personally do is add a tray to the lower rack when dehydrating herbs. It does not state to do this, but it has been helpful for dehydrating my rosemary because some fall through the air fry rack and cause a mess underneath. Things to note The door closes via magnets. Because the provided trays are metal, they can invertedly attach to the door which can is not pleasant when dealing with a hot tray. Be aware of this and do not rest the pan on the oven door. Top oven fits only certain sizes, additional purchases are required for additional pans that fit. I will say that for me this is a major upgrade from my last oven. Since my large oven is not working, making batches of cookies had been cumbersome until acquiring this. Now I can make three sets of cookies in one go, two pies, and dinner along with desert at the same time. I will definitely be investing in the additional accessories to really get the maximum potential from this smart oven.

***TLDR:*** Perfect small appliance for the cook who wants an air fryer without the smell many of the smaller units suffer from these days. Two smart ovens allow for set-and-sit-down cooking of two different dishes. ***SET UP:*** The oven isn't very heavy but it's size does mean carrying and removal from the box can be tricky. Everything comes well Styrofoamed and plastic wrapped, but a sticker suggests getting a friend to help carry it. Once unboxed, I did notice some plastic remaining between the glass and metal from factory assembly. I removed what I could but some was stuck. Ninja say to run both ovens (with all accessories inserted) for 25 minutes - hopefully this takes care of it. We set the unit underneath our kitchen hood vent with the fan on to take care of this. ***COOK TIME & QUALITY:*** Garlic bread which usually takes about 15 minutes at 450° in the big oven only took about 8 minutes in the top of the Ninja. The whole piece was nicely browned. Costco hot dogs cooked in 15 minutes at 375° from frozen. Much easier than pan frying (like I usually do) and they held their juices very nicely. Made a lasagna in the bottom for dinner and loved how easily I could see it's progress. Both top and bottom feature a bright light and clear glass. ***FEATURES AND CONTROLS:*** The oven is easy to use and I figured out how to work it without looking at the directions. Its “Smart Finish“ feature (where I could set separate cook times for top and bottom) allowed me to place separate dishes in with separate cook times and go enjoy time with my family. I didn't have to get up to put the faster-cooking dish in at just the right time. The oven took care of the math and starting it for me. The buttons and display look premium. No low-quality run-of-the-mill LCD here. ***SIZE:*** Be aware that two ovens in one package means that both are small. You may struggle cooking a full size chicken. Ideally, you should take the interior dimensions of the unit and the size of your current pans into consideration - or see one of these at the store - before buying. ***ACCESSORIES:*** The Ninja comes with several seemingly quality accessories for various types of cooking, with the option for expansion into dehydration accessories later. ***DANGER:*** There are some drawbacks to consider: 1.) The plug cable is short. Like, 3 feet. They expect you to place this right next to a socket. They don't want you using an extension cord. 2.) EVERYTHING gets hot. It'll even tell you so on the display as it runs it's fan to cool off (for what seemed like 10-20 minutes). Do not touch the unit anywhere without a hot mitt. You can grab the door but that's about it. And keep your face away for a moment when doing so. ABSOLUTELY keep this away from kids who may click buttons or touch it while hot. ***CONCLUSION:*** A short cord and plastic wrap stuck in the door panel (from assembly) keep this from being prefect, but it's pretty dang close.

Our main oven stopped working, and when we were faced with the decision of replacing it, especially in the current pandemic climate, we were a bit stuck on what to do. Should we brave going out into an appliance store to look at a new full size oven? Then go through the process of having the new full size oven delivered into our home? We decided against this and looked into a temporary solution that would tide us over for potentially the next 6 months to a year, and here enter the Ninja Foodi 10-in-1 Air Fry Digital Countertop Convection Oven! We have been using the oven for about a month at this point, and this product has completely exceeded our expectations! It literally pre-heats in under 1 minute to temperatures around 425 F, which easily is 5 to potentially 10 times faster than our full size oven when it was working optimally! That alone cuts down considerably on cooking and prep times when it’s come to family meals! The size of the countertop oven is also incredible, obviously being not as large as a full size oven, but more than adequate for every meal we have been cooking over the past month for our family of 3! It’s also incredibly easy and intuitive to use, my 3 year old loves to help push the buttons to commence cooking, and if we let him know the Mode, Cooking Temp and Time, even he knows how to get everything started and cooking every time successfully (always with our supervision of course)! I’ve read some of the negative reviews, and I can state that yes, the oven fan does make noise, but it is hardly enough to be considered “too noisy”. It’s not silent or super quiet, but it’s definitely no louder than a normal microwave. Also, some negative reviews have stated the oven is difficult to clean due to the design of the heating elements. I can understand this if food splatter or crumbs build up at the bottom of the oven, but after a month of use, we have not had very much mess result from our cooking, but I’m sure with more use we will encounter some cleaning challenges. We actually just use one of the provided cooking pans placed on the bottom rack for any items we cook directly on the third rack, and this has been able to catch any falling food debris keeping the bottom quite clean. In this way, I feel much of the criticisms can either be easily overcome, or aren’t as bad as some of the more negative focused reviews are making it sound. Overall, this product is becoming one of our most essential and most used kitten items in our household, which says a lot of an item we were only initially looking to purchase to temporarily substitute for our full size oven. To be honest, we’re now only using our full size oven for its stove top, which still works, and we may just continue to use the Ninja Foodi 10-in-1 Air Fry Digital Countertop Convection oven as our primary family home oven for the foreseeable future! Even when we get the option to replace our full size oven, which to our family, says a whole lot about the quality and genuine worth of this product! So highly recommended, and I’m also now very excited to look at other "Ninja Foodi" products to add to our kitchen collection!

The Thermometer allows you to verify the temperature of what you are cooking without having to open the doors, thus keeping the heat in and allowing you to only open the door when you are ready to enjoy what you are cooking!Another really cool part of this design in the Smart Seal, which seals the top from the bottom so there is no cross contamination. This means you chicken does not taste like fish and via versa (assuming you are cooking both at the same time).Overall, I am thoroughly pleased with this 12-in-1 from Ninja. So much so that I might pick up cooking. The setup is super simple, the design in elegant and solid, and the functionality is on point. You cannot go wrong with this 12-in-1 oven from Ninja.

My family has had the chance to use the Ninja 12-in-1 Smart Double Oven, and I have been impressed by its unique, useful features. This countertop oven is perfect for preparing delicious and healthy meals. When air frying, it uses less (often no additional) oil. If preheating is necessary, the oven(s) come to temperature in 3-5 minutes. Our in-wall electric oven takes 15-20 minutes to heat up. Efficiency seems to be a recurring theme with Ninja appliances. The FlexDoor creates two separate ovens. This means you can cook two meals, two ways (e.g., bake and air-fry at the same time), at different temperatures and cooking times. You can use just the top rapid oven for toast or bagels (with 7 darkness settings), cookies, snacks, and sides. The bottom convection and air-fry oven tackles larger proteins and baking chores with ease. I did a chicken breast in the lower oven while toasting a roll in the top for a perfect crispy chicken sandwich right at home! I love the versatility of the bottom oven. Air frying produces French fries that are crisp and delicious. Using the Smart Cook System with leave-in thermometer finally allowed my son to cook the “perfect” rare ribeye steak. I love this tool. It precisely monitors temperatures and eliminates guesswork. The thermometer is easy to use and accurate. Each oven contains an LED light mounted high in the rear wall. They do a great job of illuminating the interior further assisting in achieving the perfect dish – and no more flashlight to see if the cookies are done! Smart Finish technology syncs both ovens to cook a full meal that finishes cooking at the same time. I love that the Ninja Double Oven eliminates finishing one dish and then waiting for the next to cook, usually at a different temperature. Again, it just simplifies everything. Documentation cites FlavorSeal technology that keeps odors from intermingling. Isolation between the ovens is very good. Their stacked arrangement does not result in mixing of flavors or temperatures. I did notice that the top oven forms some condensation on the glass when using just the bottom oven; the manual says that this is normal. The package includes 2 sheet pans, 2 wire racks, an air fry basket, and a removable crumb tray that makes for easy cleanup. There is an included recipe book that contains cooking charts providing guidance including which oven (top or bottom) is better suited to a task as well as time and temperature suggestions. My only gripe is a minor one. Where we placed the oven, our counter is deep enough that the door handle rests on the countertop which slightly raises the end of the door. This additional elevation makes it difficult to slide the rack in or out when in the bottom position. It’s a little awkward but doable. The solution is to slide the oven forward so that the handle lands past the counter edge. In summary, I highly recommend the Ninja 12-in-1 Smart Double Oven to anyone who wants to prepare delicious meals quickly and easily. Its versatility makes it an excellent addition to our kitchen.

    What's cooking, Ninja?

Ninja has been around for a while now and their products always offered some interesting - and useful - innovations. This counter top dual oven is no exception. It sports some of the most common features you'd expect from a modern appliance such as this one. And it comes as no surprise that Ninja hit the jackpot by combining two separate cooking areas. So let's see what it is and what it can do. The Ninja 12-in-1 Smart Double Oven is many things. The oven itself is great looking and even though it offers a rather spacious interior, it still manages to keep a small foot print on your counter top. The stainless steel body gives it a solid feel, even though it's a finger print magnet. The black control panel is luxurious and intuitive. Here's a quick list of things you can do with it: * Bake * Broil * Reheat * Keep Warm * Toast * Bagel * Air Fry * Convection * Pizza * Air Roast * Whole Roast * Dehydrate You can combine 2 functions while using both the top and bottom, which is ideal for families as it allows to prepare a complete meal fast, without having to wait for one batch of food to be done so you can put the next one in. You can even plan ahead and start one before the other to have everything ready at the same time. We're a family of four and I cannot even begin to explain how much time we save while still being able to cook delicious and healthy meals. It comes with all kinds of cooking racks and you can even add some more such as a donuts pan for instance. We have tried many of the functions and the result was always top notch. This oven has some proprietary technologies such as the FlexDoor (a push button allows to open either only the top oven or both), Smart Finish which - as I've stated before - allows to synchronize the cooking, FlavorSeal and Smart Cook System which helps you with presets and a Smart Thermometer which helps you with presets. Frankly, there aren't any major flaws. The only gripe I have is that if you use the top oven, the top of the oven will get HOT. Not warm, hot as in finger burning hot. The oven cools down the unit after use. I would strongly advise to keep any clutter away from the top, unless you want to see it melt. My verdict after using it for days is this: Get rid of your toaster oven and air fryer. The Ninja 12-in-1 Smart Double Oven can replace both and it delivers excellent results. It can compete with a traditional oven as well. I absolutely recommend it.

Ninja continues to impress with the addition of their new Ninja 12-in-1 Smart Double Oven. We use a number of their products in our home, and this is the latest addition. It’s a countertop oven that is made up of 2 ovens in the single unit and employs Flexdoor technology for access to one or both ovens. The 12-in-1 name is attributed to its ability to cook in 12 different ways all in one compact countertop oven. Unboxing & Initial Thoughts The unit was well boxed and secured for shipping, and due to it’s build quality is a bit heavy and cumbersome to lift when in the box. Once unboxed, the build quality is top-notch as I’ve become to expect from Ninja. The layout of the dual doors, control panels and functions is well thought out and easy to learn. We have a smaller condo and this unit fits perfectly on the counter where it will be left fulltime…the toaster and toaster oven has been put away for good! What’s in the Box: Oven unit 2 Sheet Pans 2 Wire Racks Wire Air Fry Basket 1 Crumb Tray Thermometer (magnetic to side of machine) Quick Start Guide/Manual/Recipes Once all parts were unpacked and washed, Ninja recommends putting all accessories in the oven and running both ovens at 450° for 25 minutes to burn off any residue from the ovens before cooking for the first time. Usage & Cooking I started out with the basics like bagels in the top oven and we did roast a chicken in the lower oven. My wife is now fascinated with the recipe book that came with the unit and has started making all sorts of meals and desserts. The control panel is very easy to learn and operate. There are setting for the top and lower oven and a control knob to scroll through those functions and settings. The display is big and easy to read while in use. There’s also an oven light which is a great feature for a countertop oven. The oven heats up very quickly which is convenient if you’re in a time crunch…no waiting around for the full size oven to preheat! There is a fan unit that will kick on automatically and signal tones to alert when food is done, etc. There are a number of features to assist in cooking, but our favorite so far is the Smart Finish Technology. This allows two meals to be cooked simultaneously and finish at the same time. This cuts down the overall time needed to cook a larger meal with multiples dishes/items. Pros: - Great build quality and the stainless and black matches all my kitchen appliances - Smart Finish Technology – cook 2 different dishes and finish at the same time - Ease of use – very straight forward to setup and use - Small form factor is perfect for any sized kitchen countertop - Multitude of cooking options for each oven - Oven light Cons: - When the full door is opened, the exterior handle hits our countertop so the door doesn’t sit flat. This makes it difficult to add or remove trays. Overall, the Ninja 12-in-1 Smart Double Oven has really impressed with its dual oven/door technology and the multitude of cooking options it will support. This is an affordable countertop oven that replaces a couple of other appliances in our kitchen. It has begun to replace our full-sized oven for many meals. I would certainly recommend it to anyone looking for this type of countertop oven system.
