Absolute junk. Weboight a HP 2 years ago that is horrible and so we "upgraded" to this one. Advice- DO NOT BUY. I've had it registered and opened for 20 minutes and it will not open up Google Chrome.

I used this laptop for less than 6 months the way that it was intended for use, with NO dropping or any other means of accidental breakage. One day it cracked upon opening and the whole case started to bend, so much so that I can’t open the laptop without strategically holding certain places down to make sure there is no further cracking. I called Lenovo’s customer service number to explain the situation and I was told that it would cost anywhere between $100-$200 to get it fixed through them. They were not able to offer me any kind of discount even though a product that should’ve lasted me 3-5 years MINIMUM barely lasted me 6 months. I will be using that money to buy a laptop that isn’t Lenovo and I wouldn’t recommend this laptop to anyone.

With my first purchase of this unit when I got it home and opened it up the screen border pulled away from the keyboard. I returned it and they gave me another one. Worked fine for about 4 weeks and upon opening it at that time the same issue. I appears that the internal hinge freezes and causes it to pull away from the key board. When on line to see if I could get it fixed on warranty. Good luck it is impossible to find any satisfaction with there system. Should have spent more and bought a Dell. Have had one of those for 5 years now and out performs this by a mile.

Computer is sadly a bit slow, the colors look a little weird (bright, over-emphasizing blues), and it's not very durable (it's gotten scratched by my rabbit and it's very noticeable), but it's still a good computer that gets the job done. I especially love being able to have apps on it, especially since my phone gets its storage filled up over nothing, so I can get apps I can't get there over here. It's also way easier to do accents with this computer, which is great for me as a native Spanish speaker.

I like the design and battery life of the device, both are fabulous. The one issue i have with this laptop is the speed. This is brand new, and it can't open up microsoft edge sometimes without crashing and sometimes force tirning off. If youre wanting a laptop that runs a little faster, it is definitely worth putting in the few extra dollars to get a faster device.

Without the 899 sale price, I would not have purchased this machine due to the battery life reviews. If you are lucky enough to get more than 2-3 hours, it seems you'll be in the minority. I'm usually plugged-in while working from home. The few times I've forgotten to turn on the surge suppressor, I've gotten about 2-2.5 hours of light work before this laptop is about to die. Otherwise, the screen, full keyboard, numerous ports, etc. are great. Boot up is so fast, I still have to wait for the Wi-Fi to connect after loading browsers. I also wish the SD slot was fully within the case; not how half the card sticks out. This will be an issue when travelling. If I can upgrade the battery w/o voiding warranty or Geek Squad protection, I will. (Formerly an HP Spectre 15 user.)

Nice small portable computer. Although it's not a top of the line computer and only limited to 4GB ram, it is enough in my opinion for the average person to use for basic tasks. Excellent price for this product in my opinion.

This computer works great to get some basic stuff done; emails, facebook, word processing, etc. Boot times are quick, but the processor lacks a bit. Bumping up to 8gb ram might help.

This is a tough one. I purchased an open box product, but was told it appeared that it hadn’t been used. However, when I started it up the memory showed over 90% full. I could have barely open anything. Factory reset it then it moved a little better, but memory still showing 80% full. Just worried it wouldn’t really do what I needed so we returned it. It was great physical condition.

It’s nice as far as size and being a clear screen but it processes really slow. If I have multiple pages open it’s always asking if I want to close the page or wait for it to load. And sometimes it will just spin and take 3-5 minutes before I’m able to do anything
