I've been impressed with this laptop so far! I've only run a couple of games on it so far, but it handles them really well. It's also working well with internet, streaming, Office 365, and CAD software. My only complaint so far is that whenever I want to use the keyboard to adjust the brightness or volume, I have to hold down the function key while I press another key, which feels unnecessary and inconvenient, especially when I'm in the middle of a game or movie and I have to redirect my focus to making sure I have two fingers over the right keys. And if I have a controller in one hand and have to spread my fingers on the other hand in ways I'm not used to in order to reach both keys, that takes extra time and focus away from what I was doing. It may only take a second or two, but a lot can happen in a movie or game in those two seconds, and I could end up missing something important. And when I have to make frequent adjustments in order to keep the sound or brightness at the optimal level, those seconds add up quickly. I wish there was a way to change the settings so that I could adjust the brightness and volume quickly by only tapping a single key, like with every other computer I have ever used. If anyone knows how to do that, PLEASE let me know, because then this laptop would be perfect!

Solid performance, battery life, start time, and general speed. Computer can get a little hot, but other than that, very happy with the purchase. Would definitely recommend.

Personally, I like the design, the performance and most importantly the overall aesthetic of the laptop. Such an amazingly powerful device which feels solid and looks great.

The laptop is powerful and amazing, everything is very smooth. But the only issue is it weighs like a ton. Not easily portable. And the charger that cane with it stopped working properly after few months. As for the performance it is very nice.

This laptop is really nice for gaming, coding and other entertaining media. I like how it can be this size with this kind of tech. Love the keyboard lightning that you can change it depend on what program you use. I use this for gaming and coding. gaming is so much fun on it with the 144hz. I love that you can wire internet cable to it make internet faster for gaming and downloading doesn't have to rely on Wifi. Battery are depend on how bright you using but for me I always keep it plug in while I played game but when I do something else I tend to wait until it tell me battery running low to plug it in. It last me a while though.

Great laptop, handles latest gen games with ease, 150+ FPS for Call of Duty ultra settings, 150+ FPS Counter Strike, 100+ FPS on Hunter Call of the Wild max settings, runs YouTube videos on highest resolution without skipping a beat. Battery life is pretty poor though, but I always have it plugged in. Runs out of battery faster than what it estimates, but I’m always running high performance apps. Overall, I’m happy with this laptop.

Great laptop, i chose this one because i had an hp omen that was a beast when it came to performance. It was taken by a jerk so when i got to where i could get a new one hp omen was my top choice and i am not disappointed. I miss the side number keypad but its no big deal. Its very quiet, works fast i am waiting to test out some games on it particularly Hogwarts legacy i picked these specs specifically for that game. Im in love with this device all over again.

Build quality is good and doesn't scream neon, flashy but more elegant styling. Size 16in and weight 5lbs are good. i7 CPU fast, 16 GB RAM is good, and GPU is entry level gaming. Thermals are cool with very good noise levels as the fans near full speed are not obnoxious. Keys have a nice feel and 4 section led backlight colors is good and you dont feel any hot spots. Screen is fast 144 refresh, 1080p 8 bit, privacy camera cover built in, but the brightness at 250 nits is not that bright and is not color accurate. It was on sale for around $1050 but the screen, lack of additional NVME SSD slot, thunderbolt, placement of charging port on the right side which can get in the way of the mouse. I came to the conclusion of returning it.

Great laptop for gaming and general use. I recommend getting a cooling fan accessory because the laptop can get pretty warm and battery can drain quickly with gaming just keep it plugged in and everything is fine. If you are just using the laptop for general use battery lasts hours.

Hp omen laptop with 1 tb storage which is very high for what the price offers along side a ssd of 512 gb tops it. The graphic card is also very new. The battery life relatively give 4-5 hours max. But given that its a gaming laptop, i think it is fair enough! The sound system is good. Gives good performance. Laptop is heavy but relatively in a lighter side compare to other gaming laptop.

So I have never owned an HP or a gaming laptop BUT I know tech... currently in school for cybersecurity and this laptop is powerful. It runs everything you want fast and I even downloaded Fortnite and it plays extremely well while easily being able to workbon school work and cybersecurity labs. I have yet to have a problem with it since buying it a month ago.

Purchased this computer as a Black Friday deal...$400 off original price. It was meant to be used as a ministry tool for video editing. So far so good...massive storage, quick applications, lightning fast exporting and uploading. It is doing exactly what we were hoping for! The display is not as crispy as we thought it would be but it will be fine for what we need it to do. Thank you Best Buy for the deal! May God bless you

Fast, durable, reliable, lots of ports, lots of storage for all sorts of games which run reaaaaally smoothly, so the only limitation is your skill.

Working great as both a gaming device and also as a Visual Studio 2022 development machine. Games work great, visuals are smooth and no noticeable lagging. Also used it for a recent work trip to stream direct tv, netflix, and a few other streaming apps. All worked great and I was able to catch up on some dev work while having shows play in the background. PS most hotels disable fire sticks so having a good streaming device is a must have. Some hotels have perks at higher loyalty levels but most have a decent wifi for streaming.

Bought this as a replacement for my agonizingly slow desktop. The Omen has the storage I needed, the graphics card I wanted and came with Windows 11. Setup was so easy using my Microsoft account, it was almost too easy. Getting use to the keyboard and track pad took a while. Opening programs or apps is so much faster. I’m glad I made the purchase.

Got it on sale and when I was returning a different computer I had just bought. Amazing speed and graphics. Sims 4 with all the packages runs smoothly while watching videos on you tube. Was a little worried because the floor model felt a little flimsy but the one I brought home felt solidly built. Would recommend especially if on sale.

Great computer so far with great speed! Had bought an Apple (not for gaming) but it was soo slow I took it back. Then I got this home and man I couldn’t believe how fast it was! More than happy with this purchase. Hopefully will be buying more memory soon! Only downside which doesn’t bother me too much is the battery does drain quicker because of the speed.

I love this laptop for gaming on the go. It is definitely a little heavy in a backpack if you are traveling and flying. But it definitely is everything that you need. I play alot of Call Of Duty and Apex and it is perfect for it. It runs very fast. Its worth every penny you spend. I was worried with it being a laptop that it would get to hot but the fans in the laptop keep it cool even with hours and hours of gaming. You won't be disappointed.

I bought the laptop because I just moved states for school and needed something to keep me entertained. I enjoy the laptop alot the screen looks very good and the performance is more than enough for the games I play (Gotham Knights, Overwatch 2, valorant, and CS:GO.) The only drawback this laptop has in my opinion is depending on what you have your game settings at the fans can get pretty loud but, thats just the nature of a gaming laptop.

Amazing laptop. It's extremely fast and has a lot of space. I stick with HP for mostly work and this is flawless. It's perfect for gaming as it's a gaming laptop but that's not what I use it for. I'm a graphic designer and I needed a laptop without lag to upload my artwork onto websites and this does the job extremely well and quick.
