I’ve been gaming with this headset for the past week with my PS5 and I am very pleased with it. It is very comfortable. My first night with it I played with my buddy online for about 4/5 hours and my ears never really got fatigued. The earcups have a memory foam type material and did not bother my ears at all. The leatherette on the earcups is nice and cool. They also come with foam pad earcups that you can swap them with if you prefer. But the default earcups are the best in my opinion. The headband is very strong and sturdy while being lightweight. I am confident that it can take abuse for some time. The microphone is easily removable. My buddy said he had no problems hearing and understanding me while we were in chat. It’s not studio quality but to me, it is good enough for live streaming and uploading your game clips to your platform of choice. The sound quality of the headset is outstanding. I’m going to put it in my top 3 list of best sounding gaming headsets that I’ve ever used. They don’t have that generic digital sound that many gaming headsets suffer from. They have a very nice warm and natural sound. Bass is booming without over powering mids and highs. When playing call of duty and Fortnite, I was able to determine where enemies were coming from because I could hear their footsteps clearly even though there was a lot of explosions and shooting going on around me. Sometimes I like to listen to music while gaming, and these also perform nicely for that. Music sounds nicely balanced while my favorite games still punch through bassy and clearly. My gf appreciates me gaming with these at night lol, I don’t bother her with the loud sounds from the video games I play while she goes to sleep. Yeah, these headphones are a little expensive. But they come with a lot of accessories and are made of premium materials. They are definitely worth your hard earned money. Logitech surprised me with these headphones. If you’re on the fence and reading this, go ahead and treat yourself. I think you’ll love them as much as I do. Pros: Quick connect with included USB dongle Incredible surround sound quality Compatible with both PS5 and PC Very long battery life and Charges quickly Includes many accessories and storage bag Great microphone, don’t feel the need for a dedicated mic. Cons: a little expensive

Designed by gaming pros, the Logitech PRO X2 Lightspeed Wireless Gaming Headset is a very thought-out, well-designed product whose goal is to help the rest of us increase our skills and level of competition. Made of quality materials that were apparently chosen to give strength and longevity to the product’s life, the choice of these materials seems two-fold as they also contribute to making the headset only weigh 12.17 oz. This is one of the most comfortable headsets that I have ever worn, and I have not even started to mention all of the other wonderful features of this product. The headset is manufactured in either Black or White. Included in the box is the headset, a completely detachable unidirectional microphone with Blue Voice technology, a soft zip bag for storage, memory foam ear pads and an extra set, a USB-A-Lightspeed wireless adapter, and a USB-A to USB-C cable for charging and updating firmware. The headset’s battery charged very quickly and is designed to last up to 50 hours. All of the controls have ergonomic placement, and with the Logitech G HUB software various detailed customizations can take place. You can even set how many minutes up to thirty that the headset remains active before powering itself down when not in use. Numerous sound settings can also be controlled in the G HUB software. On the actual headset, there is even a control button to switch easily between Bluetooth and Lightspeed. The range of customization available with this headset is wide and allows for detailed fine tuning. The headset paired effortlessly with my PC and is compatible with Windows 10 or later. The headset is also Console compatible with PlayStation 4 and 5 as well as Nintendo Switch. I used it with Nintendo Switch and found it to have an impressive wireless range of over ninety-eight feet. The Graphene 1.97-inch driver is a first in the gaming headset industry and it is what gives the clarity of this product’s amazing sound. I recommend this product and am extremely impressed with the sound and the way I can control and fine tune it to my preferences. The wireless distance and length of the battery is equally amazing. This is definitely a professional headset and one that should be considered if you are serious about a quality headset for gaming.

These are terrible, bought them last year and they are already dying. Sometimes there is a loud crack/click in the left ear cup, sometimes they sound like radio from the 60s and have constant interruptions. I was happy for the first couple of months afterwards, just pain and disappointment.

Average at best. The sound quality is the same as a Sony MDR7506 (from the 90s, worth 100$) and slightly better than a BlackShark V2 The mic: atrocious sound quality. Even with the Blue vo!ce option it sounds like you’re trapped in a tunnel. I’ve resorted to using my external boom mic It was also a pain to get it to function on GHUB. Do not pay more than $150 for this average piece of equipment. You deserve better.

    Quality construction and sound

The logitech, G Pro X2 light speed headset is a more than capable headset for serious gamers. It doesn’t have a bunch of snazzy RGB lighting or other visual bells and whistles, but it is a very strong performer where it matters most: sound. Build Quality: The attractively styled all black body is constructed of steel and aluminum. It has a detachable flexible mic that can be easily adjusted to preferred positions. The preinstalled ear cups are leatherette over memory foam. An extra set of cloth pads over memory foam is included. The headband is also leatherette over memory foam. The headset feels well constructed overall and durable. Comfort: despite the all metal construction, the headset is surprisingly lightweight. I do not experience any fatigue or discomfort during long gaming sessions, and it fits comfortably on my head without any pressure on my ears or top of my head. The ear cups are comfortable, soft, never feel hot, and they don’t make my ears sweat. The flex mic moves smoothly, stays in place without drooping, and is easy to adjust in small increments to a desired position. Performance: I first tested the headset to make sure sound levels were within an acceptable threshold. I was able to detect bass notes down to 20 Hz and highs up to 20 kHz. The 50mm drivers sound fantastic during gaming. Both primary and ambient background sounds are sharp, clear and well produced. Whether loud explosions or more subtle sounds like wildlife chittering or car gears shifting, I can clearly hear every aspect of my gaming in high quality surround sound. The headset volume is sufficiently loud for both gaming and music while maintaining good clarity at higher volumes. There is no distortion or sound drop outs during use. Music also sounds very good through the headphones. It has sufficient bass, crisp treble, and decent mid notes. I don’t use this as my primary music listening headset, but only because I prefer my high quality music headphones. However, the X2 is more than capable for music listening if required to pull double duty. I also used the headset for a couple of Teams meetings for work just to see how it would perform. It performed flawlessly. The mic has hardware noise cancelling and Blue Voice enhancement to improve sound quality. I asked other meeting participants for feedback on mic quality and was advised that my voice sounds clear and free of background noise. Gaming buddies advised the same. The mic does a good job of suppressing background noise farther away from the headset. I don’t normally have a lot of noise in the background and work in a relatively quiet environment, but whenever there is mild to moderate noise, such as controller buttons or mechanical keyboard clicks, it doesn’t interfere with mic sound quality. There is an easily accessible volume dial and a mic mute button on the left cup. Also on the cup are the Bluetooth button and power switch. Connectivity: The Pro X2 can connect via either the included lightspeed USB dongle or Bluetooth. I tried both and both provided stable connections with no dropouts nor loss of connectivity. Quality was about the same on both as I could not detect any noticeable differences in sound quality. I prefer using the lightspeed receiver simply from past not so good experience with other Bluetooth gaming headsets, but feel both formats would serve my needs fine. Extras: The X2 is compatible with Logitech’s G Hub software. G Hub allows managing headset and mic sound quality along with other settings. G Hub provides several EQ presets for different use scenarios for both the headphones and the mic. Presets include optimized settings for gaming, music, online meetings and more. The mic also has Blue Voice specific presets and gain controls for enhancing mic quality. In addition, there is a manual EQ and settings for enabling and managing surround sound. G Hub also allows updating firmware on both the headset and receiver, and setting the auto power off feature. Auto power off can be disabled or set to activate after 1, 2, 5, 10, 15, or 30 minutes of inactivity. The headset charges via an included USB-C to A charging cable. Battery life is good and I get several days use of moderate gaming (2-3 hours per day) from a single charge. A zippered neoprene soft carrying case, and a 3.5mm audio cable that connects to a 3.5mm port on the USB receiver are also included. Overall, I was impressed by the sound quality of the X2. It sounds good on my end and I sound clear and distortion free to others I’m speaking with online. The G Hub app is helpful but not mandatory. I use it and suggest its use because it provides additional tools to tweak sound to specific tastes as well as properly managing the headset with firmware updates. The app also works with other Logitech G devices to help consolidate management of multiple peripherals. My only complaint is that for whatever reason, G Hub cannot detect the headset when I’m connected via Bluetooth. I don’t believe this is by design and have tried all the troubleshooting tips on Logitech’s support site but couldn’t get it to detect over Bluetooth. I didn’t waste too much time trying to figure it out because it’s not a big deal for me personally. As I shared above, I plan to use the USB receiver anyhow. If I ever do decide to switch to Bluetooth, I will revisit troubleshooting. Worst case, I can always use the receiver whenever I need to change any settings. This was the only con I could find with this otherwise robust and great sounding headset.

The Logitech – G PRO X 2 LIGHTSPEED wireless 7.1 surround gaming headset comes well packaged in a relatively small box. The ear cups are protected in a white sleeve. In the box you get the PRO X 2 lightspeed gamin headset, an extra set of memory foam ear pads (nice!), USB-A lightspeed wireless adapter with 3.5mm port (this is tucked away in a little notch in the packaging), detachable mic with foam windscreen, USB-A to USB-C cable, 3.5 mm cable, a soft storage bag and user documentation. It comes with everything you need and then some. I really like the detachable mic as I use a standalone mic. This is a big plus for me. Mine are black. And they look really nice! This headset replaces its predecessor the PRO X. I have many Logitech products and they always have top notch performance. The PRO X 2 has 50mm graphene for amazing sound. Lightspeed wireless that really works. There is no lag. The comfort is amazing! My ears fit comfortably inside the ear pads. Hours and hours of use with no discomfort. An aluminum and steel frame makes them durable. The hinges are solid and move freely. Also, you have many connection options: LIGHTSPEED wireless, BLUETOOTH and 3.5mm cable. Here are my highlights after hours of usage: - Sound is amazing! Even the surround sound (which I normally am not a fan of) works extremely well! Very useful in those FPS games!! - The included mix works extremely well. I also like that it is removable. Your teammates will appreciate the clear sound of your voice. - I do not see noise canceling listed as a feature. But the ear pads work extremely well at eliminating outside noise. - I prefer these over my other (and more expensive) gaming headset. My previous headset is the SteelSeries Arctis Pro. - The comfort is amazing. No discomfort after many hours of use. - The battery lasts up to 50 hours per the documentation. These keep a charge a very long time. That means you can game for 2 days straight without a charge! - It is very easy to switch between Bluetooth and LIGHTSPEED. - Compared to other choices, these are an excellent value for a top quality headset. - You have the Logitech GHUB as well for some added features. I wish you could display the battery level on the taskbar. - These work on PC, Xbox and PS5. Although I only game on PC. Overall I rate these 5 out of 5. For the money, I do not know if there is anything that compares. The comfort, connection flexibility, battery life, spare ear pads, detachable mic and other features make these my favorite so far. You will not regret getting this yourself.

The headphones themselves are excellent. I mainly use them for Valorant, and I can hear just about anything and can tell where an enemy is very well. The quality is good and they’re very light. I can wear them for hours and not feel uncomfortable unlike with my previous headphones. Additionally, the headphones when I turn them on connect to my device in literally 2 seconds which is very awesome. The only big negative I would say is the price. I feel as though $150-200 would be fairer for these headphones. The battery life is great and the headphones charge quick. I haven’t bothered with the mic because I have a separate one, but from what I have heard it’s Burger King mic tier at best. If you can afford it, I would highly recommend a seperate mic anyway. Elgato Wave 3 is the one I use and it’s amazing. Overall, great job from Logitech. If I could rate it 4 1/2 I would, but I can’t so I’ll just give it the 5*.

I am always impressed with Logitech products and these headphones are impressive.... These Logitech PRO X 2 LIGHTSPEED Wireless Gaming Headset are great.... Setup was a snap. Multiple ways to connect. Bluetooth, dongle, wired... I chose Bluetooth with my Nintendo switch. Pairing with Bluetooth was super easy... Took all but 1 min. Comfort and weight is really nice. You can wear these headphones for long periods of time and it won't hurt your ears because of pressing up against the cartilage and won't be a nuisance with needing adjustments all the time. The pads are really nice. Super squishy and creates a nice seal to keep outside noise out and the sounds in. They are easily labelled and you can tell what is left or right. Sound quality is really good. On the switch depth and surround sound is nice. Super easy to control volume using dial. Battery life is good. 1 full day at of use with my entire family taking turns and it is still not dead yet... Switched over to PC gaming and mic use was good in communicating with others with multiplayer use... Overall. Great headset for those of you who play long and want a super comfy headset and has great sound and does not cause ear fatigue. I would recommend this product..

    Incredible audio, mic needs tweaking!

If you need a quick summary for this review what I have said above is true. The audio is bar none compared to the previous 5 other Logitech headsets I have owned and reviewed. The only thing that I am having difficulty with at this time and that might just require further tweaking in the Ghub software is the mic audio quality. Even with Blue Voice on, I am getting really scratchy output that is grating on my friends’ ears while we are gaming. I should mention that this is while using the 2.4Ghz USB 2.4 wireless connection. I have not yet tested the quality of the mic while going over Bluetooth or 3.5mm audio jack connection, but for me, considering my daily driver is a Logitech 535 headset that is a third the cost, I would expect the mic quality to at least match that while running similar settings in the Ghub app while over 2.4Ghz connection. Most pro level gamers or enthusiasts will be running standalone microphones anyways, but I feel that on a $250 headset, I would expect better in the way of mic quality. The build quality of the headset itself is a glorious thing to behold. Every contour and detail of the metal frame supports, earcups, and headband speaks to quality. It comes with a nice lineup of accessories and cords too, including another pair of earcups which is spectacular. All of this is packaged nicely in an environmentally friendly package with minimal plastics in the packaging except for the most critical regions, like the plastic covers of the Logitech logs on the outside of the earcups. The battery life on the headset is exactly as advertised, I charged it when it came about a week ago and I have been using it nearly every day for at least 4 or 5 hours and I have yet to run out of battery! I am very impressed by that. I am usually around 80% volume with a mixed-use of gaming with comms through Discord, Spotify listening, and YouTube videos. Something I wanted to note is that I had to completely reinstall the GHub software to be able to have the software detect this headset and get a reading on the battery life. The game I always test my audio with is the game Hunt Showdown. This game is a tough, pro-level shooter that requires excellent audio in order to make use of the binaural audio the developers have implemented in the game. This headset more than exceeds in this task and actually has such detailed audio on the lows especially that I have heard bass booms from explosions and notes from the theme songs that I have never heard before! Music is also another stand-out for this headset. I have not enjoyed my music on any headset I have reviewed more than this headset, and that is with EQ settings flat right out of the box! Altogether, this headset gets a solid 4/5 recommendation from me with the mic in mind, but I will rate it as 5 stars overall since it is such a minor complaint compared to what people will really care about in terms of the audio quality from the headphones. I think that in this price range, there are headsets that might have more intuitive microphone setups and I would like to see that present here. Otherwise, it is an amazing headset bound to please any user!

The Logitech G Pro X 2 is a great headset that delivers everything you need with a classic headset look. The Pro X 2 has more the look of traditional headphones than that of most gaming headsets. Unlike some gaming headsets that have RGB lights or bright colors, the simple black and silver of the X2 gives off the classic audiophile headphone vibe. Looks aside, the most important part of any headset is the sound it delivers when gaming and the Pro X 2’s deliver big time! The sound especially on pc is highly customizable and the 7.1 surround sound just adds that extra depth to games and movies. Even though you only get stereo sound on other platforms such as PS5, the sound they deliver is still really good. The Logitech G HUB software on PC allows for a lot of customization when using these on PC. The headset comes with a Bluetooth dongle, USB-A to USB-C charging cable, 3.5 headphone jack cable, detachable mic, extra ear cups and a nice carrying bag. The detachable mic delivers great flexibility and clear voice communication and even voice customization on the G HUB software on PC. The headset for me is very comfortable, especially when I use the soft fabric ear cups. I have a large head, if you have an extra large to a really large head they might not be as comfortable. The PRO X 2’s deliver great sound and customization without all the flash.

Comparing these to the Corsair Virtuosos, they are lighter, slimmer, and look much more "gamer". Pros Sound quality Able to create own mixes with logitech software Extremely comfortable Extra ear cups in a different material Cons Price (obviously) Microphone quality In all honesty this headset is the best I've used in a long time, I and expect for them to last even longer. If your looking for something with a good microphone I'd definitely choose something else however, if you are using an external microphone or just don't care so much about voice quality these are top of the line. (Also they are Logitech so they match all of my other gear) Overall 5/5 would buy agian

I bought these to replace a G733 headset. It's not fair to compare the battery life since the old headphones are about 4 years old, however I can feel an improvement in range. The old headphones would lose connection in several places in my house but these do not. They also feel lighter and more comfortable specially with the interchangeable ear pads. I work from home so a comfortable headset that I can wear around the house is a big deal. I'm not an audiophile but I do think the new ones are an improvement. Make sure to download the software from Logitech and set a good sound profile for best results.

TLDR: If you want a “gaming headset” that doesn’t suffer from the “gaming aesthetic”, you demand comfort and quality build quality, you won’t be disappointed. If you consider yourself an audiophile or demand accurate audio cues for competitive games, you might want to look elsewhere. The Logitech Pro X 2 Lightspeed is a wireless gaming headset that features Lightspeed wireless, and excellent comfort for a high level of build quality. The headset is equipped with graphene drivers that are superior in sound quality to previous versions. I don’t know that I buy into the hype of graphene drivers just yet. The sound is clear and clean with quality mids and underwhelming lows with the default sound profile. You’ll want to install the Logitech companion app to fine tune the profile to your preferences. The sturdy, but surprising light, aluminum frame looks like it can withstand some abuse too. The earcups are comfortable and provide ample isolation for not having active noise canceling. The mic isn’t anything to write home about. However, I do like that Logitech is going along with the detachable mic trend. I rarely use it for gaming and like being able to drop it in a drawer and only attach it when needed. In terms of style, the Logitech Pro X2 Lightspeed has a sleek design that looks great. The matte finish, all black style and completely absent RGB might be exactly what you’re looking for.

A Headset with Little to be Desired

Out the gate, this is a great sounding headset. The Logitech G Pro X 2 doesn't much to be desired as it relates to sound and features. There was much to like when it came to this headset. Battery is outstanding, and didn't take long to charge. The build quality is excellent, but the generic design does leave a bit to be desired. Although, the wirelessly capabilities is what is touted, it does come with a 3.5mm cable making this headset useful for wired listening. The microphone sounds well, but I found greater benefit in using the Logitech G Hub software to tune everything. I opted for a more bass heavy profile seeing as I like to listen to music after gaming. As it relates to eSports gaming, latency was very low. Also, I was able to hear fine details in the audio. I'm not sure if that did improve my gameplay performance, but it did help immerse me more into the game. Finally, this headset comes with a storage bag which is a bonus. Yet, I think a plastic storage case would've worked better to allow compartments to hold the dongle, mic, charging cable, and 3.5mm audio cable. With a carrying case, extra earpads, detachable microphone, and 3.5mm cable, I wondered what was the catch. Is Logitech compensating for something? So far, so good. I haven't had any issues with this headset. Wireless compatibility with the Xbox was strongly desired, however, I'm still able to use the headset for wired listening. Overall, I really do enjoy this headset. I could nitpick on minor details such the generic black design or the lack of RGB and simultaneous connection, but those things aren't as important. This is a eSports headset and functions well as one.

I caught mine at half the retail price on sale. Tremendous value for the battery life. However, it lacks support for dual input at the same time. When comparing the audio to my JBL Quantum One; these can keep up with a lot of EQ tweaking. Out of box they dont have as much bass/kick as them and thats even with JBL EQ lowered on bass. High end starts to fall off as well when listening to music. Premium feel/look with the aluminum and build materials. No ANC, but the noise isolation works as well as my JBL’s which does have ANC. These are comfortable and light in comparison and have no cord which is why I wanted a second option to my ONE’s.

When looking for a wireless headset, I'm only interested in battery life, comfort, sound, and connection. The battery life is unbelievable on these, my wife used the for 2 weeks and they went from 100% to 93%! They also charge very quickly as well. As far as I'm concerned, nothing else matters if your wireless headset is always tied to a wire, so I'm happy to say that these are a 100/10 on battery life. When looking at comfort, there's no way I'd stick to any headset if they're not comfortable. I'm happy to say that these are extremely comfortable and surprisingly lightweight, without having too much clamping force. They also come with both leather and a cloth set of ear pads. My wife is extremely picky with how headsets feel because of her glasses and she loved them! Without hesitation, this is the best sounding wireless headset I've tried out of the box and without EQ. They're not only displaying a full sound, but they definitely have a separate sound stage for highs, mods, and lows. Add the software to add a little more bass (bass preset, +2 dB) and these are amazing. As far as I can tell, no connection problems EXCEPT when I first used them and had to update the firmware. After the initial updates and software setup, the connection has had 0 issues.* *I will say that if you have a stand alone mic (not using the headset one) then make sure you keep the headphones as an "allowed device", but doesn't have to be the default input device. If you're like me, and you like to get rid of clutter, you'd want to just remove any mic from windows except the stand alone one, but this will mess with the software and make the device "disabled" until you turn on the mic as an "allowed device" again. IF ALL THIS MAKES NO SENSE, then just disregard because you probably don't remove different input/output sources on your windows sounds settings. Just keep it as is! Honestly, no complaints here except that you can't use any third party spatial sound via windows on them. If you have something like Dolby Access or even like the windows sonic for headphones, you can't use those on these. They have their own surround sound option in the software that you have to toggle on, but IT IS GARBAGE. Honestly makes them sound horrible. Out of the box with a slight EQ adjust (via software) makes these sound amazing, one of the best. But do not use the surround sound in the software!!! (my opinion) Another small thing, but definitely not a deal breaker, is the Bluetooth compatibility. Basically, you can only choose between dongle mode OR Bluetooth mode. These cannot play both sounds, like other headsets. 250 is a fair price but I would love to see them at 200 only because you can't use other spatial sounds software, and the Bluetooth situation is pointless unless you're on mobile/switch. If they had it where you could play Bluetooth and the dongle sound at the same time, I'd honestly be ok at 250.

I got these recently, and they for sure take a little bit to get used to. For context I upgraded to these from the G733’s that I’ve had for years. The G733’s are very light, while these are heavier. The heaviness takes some getting used to if you’re coming from a lighter headset, but the sound is worth it! I used the USB connection as my motherboard doesn’t have a great bluetooth adapter, it’s a very simple plug and play, beware of the updates on GHUB though! I haven’t had them long enough to note anything on the battery life, but I haven’t had to charge them yet! Thr pckage also comes wirh an extra set of plush ear covers, along with the leather ones, and a fabric pouch that the headphones can fit in. I’ve loved them so far, so I’m hoping that will continue! I’ve added some photos for the comparison of my G733’s (do note that these headphones have much better adjustable headbands!).
