I needed a basic laptop for home as mine was Windows 10 and nearing end of life. Loved the sleek look of this, appreciate the number pad, the backlighting and performance and storage is great for me. It was heavier that I thought it would be, but not a deal breaker. Even better was able to get it at a great discount during the sales event.

Love it so far. I have only had a small problem and it seems to only happen while I am in the Chrome app. My courser/mouse jumps everywhere. as it only happens while Chrome is open it may be an app issue and not the laptop itself. Previously only had towers this is my first laptop, old tower could not keep up with my work load.

After using this laptop for 2 months now, I can honestly say that I am disappointed. Perhaps most of my issues are with Windows 11, but some are with the Yoga itself. I replaced an HP laptop with this one because I have previously owned Lenovo laptops and they were fantastic. Figured I'd take advantage of a black friday deal to get another one.
The things I like about this laptop: the 2-in-1 feature and pen (purchased separately) are really cool when I want to use it in tablet mode for design work, to watch videos, or to play game that require the touch screen. It feels very sturdy and well built. The hinge (a huge problem on my HP laptop) is very stable and smooth. Videos look great on it, but graphics (websites, graphic design) are just ok. Nothing spectacular. The keyboard is a nice texture and uses the perfect amount of pressure. Very comfortable to use. It's fast. Programs open quickly and for the most part run pretty smoothly.
Where it falls short and what I don't like about it: It seems super glitchy. The cursor will randomly "float" up to the corner and not come back down. A couple of times now I've had programs randomly stop working and my external hard drive randomly stops being detected by Windows. (Again, perhaps I'm just having an issue with Windows and not the laptop.) I've also had videos and my browser freeze. The touchpad on this thing is HUGE, which is hard to get used to, and there aren't separate left/right buttons so sometimes I find myself clicking in the wrong spot, which messes me up. The power button is in the WORST possible spot, causing me to turn off accidentally many time simply by lifting it up to move it or by disconnecting my USB drive (There are only two USB ports and both are right by the power button). The volume is inconsistent and mostly runs quiet, but when I have it cranked up the bass/treble balance and tone is good. Some videos are SUPER loud at medium volume and some require me turning it all the way up to hear. I haven't used it while unplugged to test the battery life so I can't comment on that. Overall, I really wanted to love this 2-in-1 laptop but unfortunately, it just isn't what I had hoped it would be. It's too late now to return it, so I just have to hope I can get my money's worth out of it for a few years and then move on to a different one.

Hey DeborahD, we're sorry to hear that you ran into these issues with your Yoga. To try to resolve this, first, let's start with the cursor. We recommend visiting this Lenovo Support webpage to download the latest update for a system driver that was responsible for this issue: (https://pcsupport.lenovo.com/us/en/products/laptops-and-netbooks/yoga-series/yoga-7-2-in-1-16ahp9/83dm/83dm0003us/downloads/ds567269-wacom-driver-for-windows-11-64-bit-yoga-7-2-in-1-14ahp9-yoga-7-2-in-1-16ahp9?category=Mouse,%20Touchpad,%20Keyboard%20and%20Pen). Next, to address inconsistent volume, this could be caused by a few different things, so we recommend a blanket system update to see if this resolves it. First, open the Settings app > Select the Windows update tab > Select the Check for updates button. Next, open the Lenovo Vantage app > on the homepage, select the Check for updates button. Also, open the Dolby Access app, then navigate to sound settings to make adjustments to your liking. Please feel free to reach out again with any other issues and let us know if these steps helped. We appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback with us.

Initially was torn between the Intel 7 processor and the AMD Ryzen 7. After literal days of trying to compare, in came to the conclusion that there almost both identical with the exception of Intel having the better rep. If you're needing something for everyday use or an upgrade, this laptop takes the cake. I bought it on sale for $699.

Lenovo Yoga 7. I bought this to replace my old HP laptop which I really liked. The new Lenovo All In One is everything my old one was and more. I have been using it for two months now for mostly home and small business applications, and it's reliable and quick. Love the backlit keyboard! It even physically feels like good quality when handling it. I use it as laptop mostly, though the tablet use is a nice feature on occasion. A good buy!

This foldable laptop has been a game changer for my consulting business. Oftentimes I'm in smaller settings with clients and the tripod element of this device has made presenting and notetaking seamless and efficient. Great battery life, performance and storage, especially for the price.
The only takeaway is the reset passkey you will have to input if your device has not shut down properly. But shutting down through the start menu and charging appropriately will minimize this inconvenience.

This hit all the major buttons I was looking for - nice assortment of USB-A and -C ports, SDXC slot for camera and other file transfer, HDMI v2.1 and DisplayPort multi-monotor support, wide HD+ screen, numeric keypad and decent sized lighted keyboard (with a nice fade in/out feature), and a sleek thin yet sturdy metal profile. Its even sligntly smaller than my previous HP Envy 360 with the practically edgeless screen. Spec-wise I was a lttle worried about the display, but I find it to be perfecly fine brightness and color wise. Looks like the battery life is pretty good and enough for all day use, and the AMD processor, 1Tb SSD, and 16Gb RAM is very responsive. I got it on sale so the value is off the charts, but with this mix of pretty perfect features for general use even at the regular price this is still angreat value compared to the HP Envy (fewer port selection, no keypad) and Dell, et al, competitors. Would recommend!

I had a Lenovo laptop that I used for college, graphic art, and video editing from 2019 until last month when I upgraded to this laptop. That old laptop stayed strong all those years until it got slow. I am giving that laptop to my mom for her to have. This introduction was to show the quality and longevity of this brand.
Now, with this laptop, you have a beautiful screen, fast boot, and fast software. I have started my own company where I create book covers and produce and edit videos. That takes a lot of power, and this laptop handles it all easily. I can have editing software running while using Google for searching and YouTube or any streaming app for background noise, and this laptop does not slow down. It did have the jumping pointer problem and I too had to disable the pen. I do use a Meko stylas with this and it works perfectly.

I think the product is great. It has a large screen which I find a bonus. The value for the specs are really good too. I got this on sale so it was very affordable. The touch screen experience is not as good as a Ipad but as an included feature it does very well. I really enjoy the face recognition and finger print reader. This makes logging in extremely fast.

Got it in black friday sale for 549. For this amount, its a banger. Honestly I did not see worth in speding 150+ more for the intel version and the HP ones. The competitve HP model did felt superior when I compared them at the betsbuy store. But if you dont ccompare this display with any other, its pretty decent. Only downfall I see is the display accuracy. Rest all pretty decent for the price. Integrated graphics card is pretty decent.
The large 16 inch displau is decent, but only FHD. If you want decent display then HP Spectre for triple the price was the only option I could see, apart from mac. And yes, from my rough usage I think I am getting minimum about 7 hours, I dont remember charging the laptop very often, just once in a day maybe.

Not a bad laptop. The speed is there & performs well, especially with the pen which can be bought separately. It is a little laggy if you use Photoshop or Lightroom and do heavy editing but it still handles it fine. The brightness is not very good even at max. 8/10 in my opinion.

Great laptop for the money. However, I dislike the screen. It's Max 300 nits brightness is pretty dim in 2024 and a pain for outside use. The color accuracy is just okay. And the max refresh rate of 60 hz is honestly annoying for a touchscreen 2in1 laptop in 2024.
Negatives aside, it has some nice power in it for the amd ryzen 7 8840hs. But the temperatures can be concerning under load. The variety of ports for the 16 inch is also retty good. The form factor of being almost just 2kg is also great for a 16 inch laptop.
If you want a laptop that can do it all in a decent way enough, then that's it. A jack of all trades, but master of none.
