Great laptop. Crystal clear screen for work and video conferencing. Its light in weight, so its easy to transport . Versatile use with the yoga options makes work easy on the go.

Love the versatility of the laptop. The battery life is impressive given its size and power. The sound and picture quality is great and fits my needs overall for a great price.

For the most part I like the laptop. The one thing that I do not care for and is a continual problem is the fingerprint scanner. It is so small that I have been having problems with the scanner reading my fingerprint. The laptop continually tells me that it cannot read my fingerprint and I have to use my pin. I would rate the fingerprint scanner on a scale of 1 to 10 as a 2. I would not recommend this laptop only for the fingerprint scanner issue. I’ve never had an issue with any other laptop and the fingerprint scanner.

I bought this laptop for school, I used to use an iPad and one thing that really drove me to buy this one was the flexibility it had. It’s an amazing laptop and very easy to use for someone who as never used a laptop before.

Love it. It hasnt really overheated like my last one did. It does run slow sometimes which is annoying since I'm a graphic designer. I was suggested this one so hopefully it last me!

This computer is great and addresses all my needs. It was easy to start up. Processes quickly. The key board has a nice feel. As a small business owner, I can do whatever my work requires.

I've been a huge fan of IBM/Lenovo laptops since I worked for a major consulting firm 20 years ago and was issued an IBM T43. I was so pleased with its durability and quality feel bought a refurb Z60 for personal use that served me well for 10 years until Windows 10 came out and it wasn't compatible. Fast forward another 10 years I was skeptical about Lenovo machines after IBM sold its laptop business to them and am pleased to be proven wrong. I visited my local Best Buy to casually look for a replacement for my Asus 2-in-1 (which still also works but won't run Windows 11). I had several parameters, starting with the 2-in-1 design and a separate numeric keyboard and compared this Lenovo with similar offerings from Asus, Dell, and HP. I'm happy to report that the quality feel of my old IBMs persists with the Yoga 7i in terms of keys that provide exactly the right amount of tactile feedback, a quiet touchpad that responds to deliberate inputs but resists inadvertent touches (one thing I found annoying about the Asus), a solid feeling case (far superior to a couple of Dells I purchased for my wife, but similar to the Asus), all the processing power I need for office applications, web browsing, and multimedia, and now that I use a home server for large data storage, more than adequate storage space in the 512GB SSD. Another neat feature of this Lenovo, which is reminiscent of the old IBMs, is a fingerprint reader, which I don't recall seeing on any of the competing brands. It seems like a small thing, but it's very convenient to be able to fire up your computer by simply touching a little square just below the right side of the keyboard. Serious gamers may disagree, but I'm also very happy with the screen. To my aging eyes, the 16" screen is also very clear with accurate color rendering and more than adequate refresh. I also like that this machine (like most newer ones) uses a standard USB-C port for charging (as well as data transfer), which provides additional flexibility vs. having to depend on proprietary chargers. After learning this unit was out of stock at my local "normal" Best Buy because of a $200 markdown, on a whim I traveled to the nearby outlet, and found this "open box good" unit for another $150 less. Once the very pleasant and professional sales rep unboxed it, mine was indistinguishable from a brand new one. Even better, after I got home, I registered it with Lenovo and they applied the warranty to my purchase date. I was so pleased with this machine that a couple of weeks later I purchased another open box Yoga 7i (identical to mine except for the AMD Ryzen 5 processor) for my son for another $225 less than I paid. I initially registered it with Lenovo and the site said the warranty was expired (believe it was a floor model), but sent the purchase receipt from Lenovo and they applied the warranty to my August 2024 purchase date and then allowed me to buy another three years of coverage for ~$100. He really likes his machine and made me aware of some features (some sort of XBox application) that he has found very useful. Just over a month into my ownership experience, I think it's pretty clear that I've been pleased with this laptop. Even at the regular price, I believe it offers great value for the money and more than meets the needs of normal users. Again, serious gamers may disagree, but Lenovo offers Core i7 and i9 versions with upgraded video that should meet their demands as well.

PC is perfect for college use. Should last 4 years. Each kid of mine has been accompanied by a Lenovo laptop.

I bought this laptop as open box in excellent condition specifically because it's stated that all accessories were included. When it arrived I loaded all software on the laptop and registered it Etc, took a few hours to set everything up. Then I realized that half of the power cord was not included in the box. After speaking to three different Best Buy representatives, their answer is that's the risk you take when you buy open box. I said no I specifically purchased excellent condition instead of good or Fair condition, which were cheaper, because excellent condition open box States on their site that it includes all original accessories. Their response was to return the entire laptop to Best Buy. The closest location to me is an hour round trip from my house, which is why I had it shipped to me. Never mind the fact that I had already spent hours setting it up registering it and downloading software. It's ridiculous that they can't send you the part that they failed to include but that you paid for. They just absolutely refuse. They also refused to give me the difference between excellent condition and good condition in order to compensate me for the cost of having to buy a new power cord. I had to buy it from Lenovo directly, which cost me $50. And will take upwards of nine days after they ship it to arrive at my house. My return date for this laptop is potentially within that shipping window. So I don't even know if I'm going to have time to see if this laptop works or not. So yeah, as much as I tried to buy from a brick-and-mortar store to keep them in business, Best Buy is doing nothing to make customers want to spend their money with them. This is completely ridiculous.

Great computer especially since I got it at a great price (under $500 with the hefty discount) during the holiday season. Compact metal (not plastic) case with bright display and touchscreen. Does everything I need it to do. I am not a gamer so as for all the things surrounding that you would need to go to another review.

Great machine. Marked down at Best Buy from Thanksgiving Eve until Black Friday, then out of stock. Reappeared on Cyber Monday not on sale. Glad I did not wait. Was $899 marked down to $499. Great price with an ultra 5 processor and extra memory. Was pleased to read Lenovo is the former IBM laptop division. Had IBM laptops for work for many years.
