    When I needed ink, I went 'budget' and purchased replacement ink from a company I found on-line. I had no problems with the black cartridge, but the color cartridge never showed up on the screen when I performed an ink level 'check'--I never knew when the color cartridge was going to run dry. And, of course, in the middle of an important paper run, it suddenly quit. I ordered an HP 62 tri-color cartridge, installed it, and it instantly showed up during the ink level 'check.' Lesson learned: don't buy budget ink!

    This cartridge is easy to put in the printer. It gives good, sharp printed imaging. Very basic cartridge, so not much more expected. But I have to say, it does not last long and costs a pretty penny! If I have a large job, it is less expensive to take it to my local library; rather than having to go buy another cartridge all the time. Makes the convenience of home printing too costly and too much trouble, time & gas running to Best Buy all the time to replenish. That being said, it is a fine product. Just needs more quantity of ink, for less quantity of cash.
