Full Sized Buttons. Smaller Footprint.

I have to admit that I feel quite foolish. I ordered the Pro X 60 keyboard primarily because it was advertised as being 60% of the size of the average full sized keyboard. For some reason I thought this meant that the keys would actually be slightly smaller - which would have been perfect for my 9 year old son who is a gamer and has also reached the age where he is taking typing classes in school. I figured it would be a better fit for his smaller hands as he learns to keep his fingers on the home row - and would also be portable for gaming on the go.
Well, it turns out that I'm an idiot.
...The physical footprint (or real estate) of the keyboard is 40% smaller because the keyboard does not have dedicated Function buttons (F1 through F12 & delete), arrow keys, or 10-key pad. Otherwise it is identical in layout and size to the typical mechanical keyboard. See the attached pictures for a size reference.
...Luckily the Pro X 60 still completely justifies its price by being an excellent mechanical keyboard. Key actuation is stellar as is ease of use. I greatly appreciate that the keyboard comes with a quality travel case that truly protects the keys during travel. I can toss it into my work bag, or into luggage without any worry. I also appreciate that the keyboard is able to use all available connection methods. It can connect manually with the included cable (for the absolute fastest response time), via Bluetooth, or wirelessly with the USB type A dongle. It is truly the go anywhere do anything keyboard for all uses.
I like that the RGB automatically syncs with all other Logitech devices (as seen in my pictures), but I absolutely love the volume knob on the left side. It so so seamless and helpful - MUCH better than dedicated volume buttons.
While they keyboard has un deniable build quality, my son absolutely hated that there are not dedicated direction buttons (up, down, left, right), or a dedicated print screen button. To use these features you have to hold the Function button. For adults with regular sized hands, it's fairly simple to hold the FN button down with your pinky while pressing K,M. for the Up, Down, Left, Right with the rest of your fingers. But my son found it so cumbersome that he now refuses to use the keyboard...which is probably just as well because I want to keep the keyboard in my workbag to use on the daily when I'm remote.
My only other complaint is that the "Game Mode" switch on the right side doesn't seem to have default settings, or at least not in an obvious capacity. I'll be using the keyboard with a variety of different computers and I don't want to install Logitech gsync software on all of them. I was hoping that switching into game mode would have an obvious change. For example, have the RGB adjust to clearly indicate that certain buttons have switched function. Sadly for the game mode to be helpful, you will have to use the Logitech software to customize the settings on a single computer. Customization can be shared and downloaded, but I would prefer some default hardware setting changes.
Over all, the keyboard is awesome because it has a high build quality, multiple connection options, full customization, excellent RGB options, and can be used in any capacity that could be expected or needed for a portable keyboard. Logitech did a great job with the PRO X 60.
Hey! Thanks for the in-depth PRO X 60 LIGHTSPEED TKL review! We appreciate the feedback on its portability, customization, and build quality. We apologize for any confusion about the key size and will improve descriptions. Regarding the missing arrow keys and Game Mode settings, your son's experience is valuable for future improvements.

Solid keyboard, prefer typing than gaming on it

Keyboard is great quality, feels a little hefty, switches feel nice when pressed. For gaming, I only used it with shooters. Coming from a regular keyboard (Corsair K70) the keycaps on the Pro X 60 seemed smaller to me and my hands tensed as a result. But the keys did feel more responsive - for example, movement especially strafing feels different - it feels like I'm moving earlier than I expected (...or am I)?
Two inconveniences for me personally was the placement of the volume wheel - it's located at the top left behind the tab key - I did accidentally change the volume a few times (for example when pressing win + 1, or adjusting the keyboard on the desk).
The other was that 4 out of 9 of the lightsync effects were available wired use only. I didn't really have any use for custom key or game mode where keys could be disabled to avoid accidental presses in Logitech G Hub.
For everyday use arrow keys along with other functions are labeled on the bottom (or side?) of the keycap which is a little weird for typing and I find myself lifting the keyboard from the bottom to look at the side of the keys to check FN keys (photo of placement attached). But other than that, I really enjoy typing with this keyboard.
Hello there, Thanks for the detailed PRO X 60 LIGHTSPEED TKL review! We appreciate your feedback on the build quality, keystrokes, and responsiveness. We understand the keycaps might feel small and the volume wheel placement could be improved. We'll consider this feedback for future designs.

Pros:
Compact and Lightweight: Its 60% layout makes it ideal for smaller setups or travel.
Wireless Convenience: LIGHTSPEED wireless connectivity is fast and reliable, with minimal latency during gaming or typing.
Customizable RGB Lighting: The LIGHTSYNC RGB is vibrant and offers a wide range of color customization options.
Cons:
Typing Feel: The GX Optical Tactile Switches lack the satisfying feedback found in other premium switches, feeling slightly mushy at times.
Price Point: Given its features, the price feels a bit steep compared to competitors in this category.
Battery Life: While decent, the battery life could be better, especially for heavy users who rely on RGB lighting.
Thank you for your feedback! We appreciate you highlighting the positives like the compact design, wireless performance, and vibrant RGB. We understand your concerns about the typing feel and battery life. We're always working on improving our products based on user feedback.

The Logitech Pro X 60 Lightspeed exemplifies portability and thoughtful design, ideal for users who are always on the move. The keyboard is complemented by a rigid, protective case with a soft interior that safely houses the keyboard and prevents damage during transit. It's compact and lightweight, enhanced by notches in the case designed for securing the USB-C charging cable and dongle extension to keep things organized.
This keyboard is aesthetically pleasing with a simple yet elegant exterior, highlighted by a subtle metallic rim that catches the light, adding a stylish flair to any RGB setup, even when the keyboard is powered off. The volume slider is strategically placed on the left side of the keyboard, allowing for quick volume adjustments without the risk of accidental changes during intense use or gameplay.
The Logitech Pro X 60 is designed for versatility and customization through the Logitech G Hub software, which provides a plethora of options for personalizing the user experience. Users can set up specific profiles for different games and tasks, complete with custom key assignments, audio controls, and LIGHTSYNC technology for game-specific lighting. The software also offers an abundance of pre-saved profiles for popular games, with the option to create new ones or download others shared by the community.
A standout feature is the gaming mode switch located on the right side of the keyboard. This switch enables users to toggle between normal use and gaming mode quickly, deactivating specific keys to avoid interruptions during gameplay. Despite its lack of a numeric keypad, the Pro X 60 offers a quick adjustment period and becomes comfortable to use in no time. It's particularly useful for those with limited desk space, whether at home or on the go.
The keyboard's GX Optical Tactile keys provide tactile feedback and a satisfying key travel distance, ensuring confident typing. This makes it suitable not only for intense gaming sessions but also for everyday productivity tasks.
Overall, the Logitech Pro X 60 Lightspeed is a top choice for gamers and professionals alike, balancing excellent build quality, comprehensive features, and exceptional usability. Its thoughtful design and robust customization options via G Hub software make it a worthy investment for enhancing gaming and productivity without consuming too much desk space.

Great size, works great and the app is very easy to use. Do wish the battery life was a little better since I have the fullsize version of this keyboard and I honestly only charge it 1-2 times a month vs this board I have to charge every week it seems like. Overall a great keyboard.

I honestly love this keyboard. It has 61 keys, and the volume control is on the left hand side tucked. I love that it’s wireless. I am happy that it has a USB-C charger and comes with a carrying case. My only complaint is that the end of the shift keys is not entirely lit. Like the key is slightly wider than the light. It’s not very noticeable at first glance, but it’s something that should’ve been fixed. Other than that, I’m very happy with it. This is not my primary keyboard, but I use it at work. Most of the space saved comes from all the extra junk for connections and controls most keyboards have on the top part and the arrow keys.
Thank you for your feedback on the PRO X 60 LIGHTSPEED keyboard. We're glad to hear that you appreciate its size, portability, and wireless features. We apologize that the shift key lighting is not perfectly aligned; we'll take this into account for future improvements. We appreciate you choosing our product for your workplace.

It is a great keyboard! I came from a TKL keyboard, so it does take some getting used to, but it is great! They keys sound great, it comes with a hardshell case so I can safely take it with me when I travel, and it not only has a dongle but it has bluetooth. The RGB is nice and it works great with the Logitech G Hub app. The only issue I can think of right now is that it tended to glitch out when I used it with the receiver, but it may be the USB hub I had that it was plugged into. I am using it via Bluetooth and I didn't have the issue arise again. Overall, I recommend this keyboard! If you have the funds for it, it is a great buy!

I was really excited to spend time with the new Pro X 60 keyboard after using a number of their previous gaming keyboards over the years. Right out of the box you’ll know you have something different, as it comes wrapped with a nice case that holds all the key components. You’ll also realize how well it’s made because it’s definitely weighty!
Once you open the case, you’ll find your USB adapter and charging cable. The reduction in scale for this keyboard had no effect on being able to use it, with the tactile keys providing great feedback and programmable backlighting via the G Hub app and Lightsync.
Speaking of G Hub, this app provides a ton of programmability in terms of macros, key mapping, and even a game mode toggled by a switch which prevents you from hitting the wrong keys during a heated battle.
How does it perform? Quite well, and as you would expect from any Logitech product. Battery life is pretty decent, but a little less than full sized versions I’ve had before. One thing you might not like - it bugged me a bit - was the lack of arrow keys. If you’re someone who uses your keyboard regularly to switch back and forth between productivity and fun, you’re going to need to dedicate this keyboard just to the gaming side of things. Too often i reached for an arrow that didn’t exist.
That being said, it’s one very small issue for an otherwise outstanding product that you will love.
Hello, Thanks for the in-depth PRO X 60 review! We love that you enjoy its compact size, quality, key feel, lighting, and performance - truly a great Logitech product. The missing arrow keys are a consideration for multi-use, but we're glad you find it exceptional. Your insights are valuable for us as we continuously strive to improve our offerings.

I purchased this keyboard mainly to save space on my desk and to pair more effectively with the superlight pro x 2 mouse. Both items are absurdly expensive. The keyboard is of great quality. I am still getting use to the 60% layout and still find myself reaching for non-existent arrow keys, but that's use to years of muscle memory. I enjoy the tactile feel of the keyboard and find myself typing very few mistakes. Gaming with it is enjoyable and I have no complaints there. If you're looking for a keyboard for gaming and/or typing I'd recommend this one if you're ok with dumping a dumb amount of money just for a keyboard.

Like all Logitech products it does feel great. However I can’t justify the price of this. Many YouTube videos will say the same but this feels like a product that should have been released years ago. If it was $120 or less and had some better specs, I think it would be a really good product.
