This multi-functional grill/griddle/panini press is incredibly easy to use. It is fairly small and is easily stored. The grill plates come off and are dishwasher safe. This is great for grilling veggies... Just make sure to slice them about the same thickness so they cook at the same rate!

First time using a Cuisinart Panini Press. My kids love panini sandwiches and this is the perfect press to make them. The right size for a small or medium size kitchen.

This is a very good grill. I really like that it traps all the juices in so my meat is not dry after it's done being grilled.

I previously owed George Foreman grills and decided to try the Cuisinart Griddler. Cuisinart continues to live up to their quality name. The unit has such flexibility that I find myself using it for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The plates are so easy to remove and wash. The Griddler has multiple heating levels so you can cook eggs, steak, French toast, grilled cheese sandwiches, anything you desire. The two sided plates allows for various types of cooking. I love the Griddler and wish I had purchased one prior to any George Foreman I previously owned.

I purchased the griddler after a very old foreman grill died, and am extremely happy with the choice. It's very versatile, easy to use and clean. Wish it were just a bit bigger, but overall am very pleased with this item.

I bought one of these for my son, he liked it so much I bought one for myself, I liked it so much I bought one for my parents and brother, and they liked it so much I bought one for my grandmother! Make hot sandwiches, a grilled hamburger or chicken breast, quick steamed veggies, etc quickly, without heating the kitchen, and clean just as fast.

We have really enjoyed using the panini maker. With the removable plates clean up is a breeze. We've used it for quesadillas, grilled chicken breasts, and burgers - it works great on all of those.

This little grill is the perfect size to do steaks, hamburgers, and kabobs. It also does a mean grilled cheese sandwich. We love it and it is so easy to clean up after. The pull out drip tray can be dumped, rinsed and put back into the unit easily. The trays snap off for easy cleanup. There is a plastic scraper that come with it and can be used to scrape the area between the ridges since it is made for that. The plates are dishwasher safe so after a rinse and scrape (if needed), they can be put in the dishwasher, then put back on the unit. This is such a great little grill that we bought this one to use at a second house.

I can't believe I didn't get one before… this 'Griddler' is so GREAT. It has so many uses. It is good for Breakfast, Brunch, Lunch, Linner, Dinner and, the late night snack. The plates are easy to clean (dishwasher) and change. The temperature controls are fantastic and deliver just the right amount of heat - evenly spread throughout the unit's surface. I would recommend this to anyone who likes to make anything from pancakes to steak. This is a well made product and, even looks great on the countertop. Grilled Cheese for everyone!

Nice addition to kitchen but tricky to assemble

I live in a NYC apartment and have the expected very small kitchen with no outdoor space like a yard or balcony, so this little grill/griddle is perfect for me. I can make burgers on the grill right on my kitchen counter, with great juicy taste and those grilled lines on them (which are probably only cosmetic but they seem to make the food taste better). My only complaint: it was a little hard to get the cooking plates snapped on and the unit folded down into full open position the first time using the unit, it takes a few attempts before you get the hang of it. But I love that the plates can be put in the dishwasher.

I purchased the Griddler primarily to cook fish ( salmon, tilapia and halibut) and steaks for lunchtime meals for 1 or 2 people.. I wanted something that cooks fast, adjusts for varying thicknesses, cooks evenly and is easy to clean. The Griddler fits my requirements perfectly. As an added bonus, the Griddler produces a delicious grilled taste and charred appearance matched by any other grilling machine (and I've had a few) or any convection or infrared toaster size oven I've had in the past or still own. Highly recommended.

I got the Griddler for my mother for Christmas because her outdoor grill needed replacing. I thought the Griddler would be a good choice since it's winter and too cold to grill outside. My mom has been thrilled with her Griddler and uses it often. She makes steaks, hamburgers, chicken and asparagus. Clean up is a breeze and its parts are dishwasher safe. She has raved about it so much that I am going to buy one for my house too.

Well made and robust. Mid size, big enough for two average sized steaks or about 6 sausages tends to get a bit greasy on the outside. But. Relatively easy wipe clean surface. The removable plates are excellent

Really like it. Especially its light weight and easiness to clean. I gave it 4 stars because it really doesn't heat up enough. Takes a lot longer to grill an item (I.e. Pancakes, chicken breasts) than my prior panini maker. The griddles clean up super easy which is nice. Can't figure out why the drip tray hasn't collected any grease yet? Maybe I need to try some cheaper hamburgers. The grill is light weight which is nice but it makes me suspect of the quality. Love how the trays pop out for cleaning or flipping over but the top plate takes finess to stay I place. One of the grip fingers doesn't grip properly. Despite my gripes I like the convience and just have to get used to the heat temps. I would recommend it.

This Cuisinart grill/griddle was a very good purchase. Easy to use, easy to clean and a good performer in either mode. I first used it simply to grille a steak and it worked fine, better than my now retired George Forman grille. The advantages are that you have a choice of settings whereas the George was just plug it in and go. Next was eggs on the griddle, quick and easy with easy access for turning and no mess. The oil drain was not even a factor as I used so little there was nothing to drain, just a swipe with a paper towel and done. Overall I would definitely recommend this unit, it really is the best!

We've had this particular griddler for some number of years now. This includes cooking countless pancakes, french toast, hash browns, sausage, bacon and other assorted breakfast goodies. We've used it to make panini as well, but to a much lesser extent (a matter of preference, it does a great job with panini too). I can't say enough good things about it. The heat distributes extremely evenly, and never produces hot spots. The griddle plates themselves are removable (for easy cleaning) and reversible (flat vs ridges). Despite all the miles this thing has seen, the plates themselves are still in great condition. When it was on sale I bought two more, one as a replacement should it ever fail, and one as a gift. Whether it is used panino style (as a press) or opened all the way it never produces much of a mess, with excess grease/fluids finding their way perfectly into the drip tray. It cooks to perfection. Even at the hottest temperature settings, it's real hard to burn your food (ymmv depending on the food obviously). I'm no super chef, but I know my way around a kitchen just fine... I highly recommended.
