I now know what I DON'T want in a coffee maker. You can't see the water level unless you stand over it and look into the reservoir where you're pouring. Yes I could fill the pot with how much I want and pour it in, but I use a pitcher of filtered water instead. Before we installed an under-cabinet light directly over it, I was using my phone flashlight to look down inside to see how much water I put in, and since they levels are only marked at the even numbers, I generally guess where 5 or 7 cups are. The display is VERY hard to read because there's no back lighting. I'm getting old people eyes and have to shine my phone flashlight again to see the digital display and the tiny words that appear over the time. Also, maybe it's just mine but the power button is difficult. I have to push it more than once at least 50% of the time for it to work. And this pot drips! The burner is always covered in something wet. Pull the pot out and it drips EVERY TIME. The one thing I like about it is the option for "strong" coffee setting. It's slower but does make a stronger coffee, otherwise the coffee this maker makes is too weak for me. We did use the program feature a few times and it's nice to wake to a cup of coffee. My next maker will have a back light and a water level display that's easy to see.

it was quick to set up, but not entirely intuitive. The auto feature being on or off requires bending over to see the top of the small display screen and find the words auto. Not as obvious as the delay feature on my prior coffee maker, which had a nice small green light confirming it was set up. Also the actual temperature coming out into the pot is too hot for me. I need to add ice to make it drinkable. At least it does not cool down too fast.

Bought this to replace another Black & Decker coffee pot that quit working after a few years. Got this on deal of the day, so great price! Easy to use.

This is the first coffee maker we have had in years where the coffee pot does not drip while filling the water reservoir of the coffee maker!! This product was on clearance due to what appears to be a discontinued item. That is a shame cause we would highly recommend this product!!

I couldn't beat the price for this great 12-cup coffee maker. It makes great coffee, has a clock and can be programmed to brew a pot of coffee all for under $20!

My dad had requested a "simple" coffee maker that he could just fill and hit a button to make coffee in the morning. This product has the Black and Decker name we trust and meet the desired simple operation.

This coffee-maker is everything promised, but does not get the 5-star rating. The pitcher (carafe) does not pour well! Notsure what the problem is (misshapen lip?) but the pitcher drools every time I add water to make coffee. It will drool when I pour coffee too. It might not spill for you, if you are more patient.

Got on sale for $20...haven’t used it yet...love programmable coffee makers...can never get one for this price.

It works thus far. Lightweight and cheaply made. No backlight on display. Coffee pot spout is poorly designed and always leaks even when poured slowly and carefully. Buttons must be pushed firmly in order to operate.

Makes a full pot of coffee in less than 5 min, I love it!

When to old coffee marker gave up the ghost I needed a replacement. I didn't want a Keurig so after a little research I found this B&D. It has more features than I use but the important thing is it makes good coffee! It is cost effective and easy to use. Everything I look for in a coffee maker. Ok, B&D isn't known for coffee but it makes good joe. Enjoy!

I like this coffee maker but, wish it did not collect so much condensation between the top and the carafe that drops onto the burner when you remove to pour a cup.

Product was easy to set up and use. It makes a fantastic cup of coffee and is east to clean.

A good coffeemaker for the price. The handle on the basket is flimsy and disconnects, but snaps back in to place.

This product is plain AWESOME. This product does the 3 most important thing in a coffee maker; quick, great taste, keeps it warm longer!, you bet I recommend it!
