My main use of this headset is gaming on Xbox One(few adapters required that are not supplies) This headset is great..The audio captures it all..The bass is not that great but enough for a stereo headset..My kids have no issues with it and haven't broken it yet..The cable is like 8ft long!! I did find myself wrapping it up as controller is usually 2-3 feet from my head

This is a really nice headset for gaming. There are some complaints about comfort, and I can see that as the cushioning especially around the headband is a bit stiff, but I've comfortable worn them for 1-2 hours. Beyond that, it could be more of an issue.
The other common complaint is durability. I haven't had a problem so far, although the ear cups are VERY swively so I can see where there could be an issue. Crossing fingers these will be alright.
All that said, the sound quality is very good. I haven't tested the mic, but even if it's mediocre I'm happy. It supports a 7.1 surround sound which is already miles beyond what I was using previously, and the sound quality itself is really good. Noise isolation is pretty good as well. I can still hear a little around me with the headset on, but it's very muffled, and light sounds get blocked entirely, especially once you're in a game.

I bought this to replace my G930 wireless set. I liked my wireless headset, but every now and then it had connection issues and the battery failed to charge after two years so it was constantly plugged in to work. I also had one ear break right on the plastic part above the ear. Seems to be a common breaking point with Logitech headphones. This headset sounds just like the G930 with the same great surround sound. Just missing a few of the extra toggle buttons and wireless, but I can do with out. This headset also has a nice durable cord so I am hoping to get some great use out of it. The only thing I could do without is the ear covers. They are cloth and somewhat scratchy and irritating. I feel like they breathe better, but they just feel itchy to me. I saved my old ear covers from my G930 just in case I can't take it anymore. Overall for the price an excellent headset.

Excellent Headset For The Price + Good Microphone

This is an excellent headset. The audio quality is very good for it's price range and the added benefit of virtual 7.1 surround sound, is amazing when playing games and watching movies. It allows you to hear every footstep in the area allowing you to get the perfect flank on. I deducted one star from this product because after around an hour of usage the top of my head started to throb. I read that some other people were experiencing the same thing and I arrived at the conclusion that the padding at the top of the headset is rather hard.
In reviews I read that the microphone quality was horrible and mediocre at best. I however thought the quality was quite decent. Other people noticed my change in microphone and said I sounded better than before. For the record I was using a Logitech C720 webcam as my primary microphone, which didn't sound bad either.
Overall if you can live with this shortcoming this is an excellent headset that I'd recommend to anyone.

These are very lightweight, they have extremely good sound clarity & they have cooking mesh ear covers, so your ears don’t get too hot if you wear them along time. Great for gamers and the microphone has a cool surround sound feature so you can hear your surroundings. This function can be turned off if needed.

The headset so far is holding up well with light use, and its rather comfortable since it sits on your head without any pressure on your ears. The sound quality is what you can expect within the price range, and the flexible microphone seems to perform nicely. I have not tried the included USB adapter since I have a sound card, but it will see use when I use the headset with my laptop so it is a nice touch to include. Cord is long, braided cloth and so far the connectors are snug and solid. The in-line dongle is not stellar, nor is it flimsy... it does the job. Overall it is a good choice for a gaming headset if you're not a competitive gamer, especially if you can get it on a good sale like BestBuy often runs.

This is a very decent, solid set of headphones. Admittedly, there are better ones out there, but these are better than a lot of other ones at this price point. Definitely worth the money.
I managed to snag them on sale, and absolutely no regrets.

This is my first headset so I cannot say too much about it. The sound is very good, the surround sound helps with first person shooter games. After a while of wearing it it does feel that the pressure on top of my head begins to be annoying but its ok. The length of the cord is perfect, actually it's very long, goes all the way across the room.

Bought these for gaming and listening to music. They work really well. The sound and mic both sound good. No complaints in voice chat at-least. They fit really well I wear them for about 10+ hours a day and it does not get uncomfortable.

I love this headset. I have been looking previously to add Dolby Digital, either through a sound card or downloadable software. But then I saw these on Amazon (did not buy there). Decent reviews, but it's hard to know what they really sound like based off an opinion, so when in store I was like, "F*ck, why not?"
Pros:
-USB adapter provides surround sound
-Sounds rich
-not too bass-y
-not to high of high's that can give a headache
-comfortable for a few hours of gaming
Cons:
-(unless set up wrong) sounds more like 5.1
-(love the blue) only comes in one color
These are great. Would encourage you to buy. If you don't like them, bring them back! I doubt you will though.

This is pretty good for the price. I love these headphones and they're super comfortable. The mic works really well and I have had no problems with them.
My only complaint is that the cord is pretty much insanely long. It tangles around everything. But if you roll it or keep it together, it's a perfect set of headphones.

Best budget Headset for the price

So as a previous owner of the Logitech 930s, the G430s matches up to its senior competitor. My opinion about this item is that if you are looking for a cheap, comfortable, and best quality headset budget money can buy I highly recommend this headset. Easy to install and ready for gaming in seconds.
Pros: Compared to the 930s its equivalent in sound and they both offer 7.1 Surround Sound. Unlike the 930s they are wired but I highly recommend wired headsets anyways because the 930s wireless aspect feature gave me so many issues of it disconnecting multiple times that it got frustrating powering back on the headsets, However the 430s are wired and give no issues like that at all. The comfort bands on the headsets earphones and headrest are still as comfortable as the 930s.
Cons: There are only 3 cons I found so far that come along with headsets. Like most wired headsets the wire tangles up pretty easily. The second issue, I dislike is that with you raise the mic all the way up, the mic is still on, unlike the 930s when you lifted the mic all the way up it muted itself. However the 430s does come with a mini sound adjuster to mute or raise the volume. My final con about this item is the feedback the mic/headphones produce, I noticed that if i raise my mic levels to the max I head my own voice feedback through the headphones which got really annoying really quick however is easily fixed by readjusting the mic levels through the properties.
Even with those cons I still recommend the headset for the budget gamer. Honestly I'm loving the headsets better than the G930s and for the price and 2-year warranty its a great deal!

great for people with larger ears or who wear glasses -- the earmuff cushions are very noise-canceling but soft (not firm) enough not to press the sides of glasses hard on your face, like a lot of other headphones do.

These headsets are comfy, sound good, and have great surround sound. I've been through many pairs of headsets, only to find that they squeeze my glasses, or hurt after a long while. These earcups are soft, and work well. My only problem with it is that the top of the headset hurt my head until I really broke it in.

I had some TB headphones that died. I opted for these... I figured why not. I was happily surprised at the quality and comfort. I've sold other members of the family on them as well. Not on a (insert ungodly expensive wireless headphone price range here) budget? Well, then, these are your headphones!

I used to have the Logitech G35 and I loved it. After several years they finally broke, not due to build but use. I wanted to have the freedom of using Aux and USB which this offered. So far I have zero complaints about it. Fits my big head which is also a great plus.

These headphones are great for the price point. There are better options available but not at this price point. If you want a solid microphone and surround sound (thru software) you can't go wrong at this price.

The headset peforms wonderfully. Sound quality is excellent, the mic appears to be clear. Logitech software reproduces 7.1 well. Reading other reviews, the most common failure of this headset is that it appears to break at the point where the cans extend and retract. After a few months of using this headset for gaming and since I normally am very gentle with my stuff, I don't see this being a problem. However, if you are rough with your stuff, I may consider investing in some electrical tape in case the plastic hinges break. Otherwise, this is a great value.
