This is good mouse. Not sure if I was able Logitech is coming out new mouse and price was reduced. Few weeks after my purchase price was reduced but forgot that BEST-BUY accepts returns for only 15 days. I was not able to get the price match since I was out that 15 day window.
I like mouse. Cordless would have be better but Logitech don't make one.

Carpal Tunnel Syndrome

This mouse is exactly what I need to prevent my carpal tunnel syndrome from ramping up. Without this mouse, I would get sharp pains which shoot up from my wrist to my elbow. Use a pad under your wrist as well to minimize carpal tunnel symptoms.

This is the trackball where the ball is in the middle of the mouse. I have been using this mouse for a few years now & I absolutely love it. So I bought me a replacement at best buy. That's how much I love this thing. It's just very comfortable to use. No having to move your mouse around all the time, which I love.

Only trackball I can find that functions like the very old one with the beige case and the huge red ball. These were popular maybe 15 years ago when Logitech first brought them out. They were many hundreds of dollars on eBay for a few years. I have three of them—all are completely worn out—and they eventually cured my carpal tunnel.
This one is a replacement for the identical trackball I am now using. Wired is OK as my Logitech keyboard that is even older is wired. But I have two more of those KB’s left.
Oh, yes. I have only ever bought Logitech devices for this sort of thing since they came out. (I’m 74, BTW.)

Best Mouse for switching hands.
Between work and home issues can develop using the same hand for repetitive motion on the PC. This mouse allows me to be left handed at work and right handed at home. Just took about a week of discipline to learn this skill. Mouse works awesome, the only mouse I use!

The way my desk is setup a wired mouse was annoying and a wireless mouse was sporadic in use so I went to this Logitech trackball. It is not ideal but with programmable buttons it works. A side note my son-in-law used it with AutoCad and it was not optimal.

I bought my first one back in 2000. This is more comfortable by far than using a mouse. Took me a few days to get use to it but now I can't live without it. I always keep a spare one on hand in case the one I'm using starts to wear out. LOVE LOVE LOVE this product!!!

Very inexpensive but very effective. I use it for a digital audio workstation where I have no space for a regular mouse but just enough to place this (not on a desk but on equipment rather)
Works smooth and didn't need to install any software for Windows 8.1 to recognize it. Although if you want to change button operation you will need to install software. After I did, the software seems kinda glitch, automatically flipping tabs and kind of hard to dial in and get it how I want it.
Would be GREAT if it had a dedicated button that would change the ball to a scroll wheel (hold down to activate)...for now I just have to click an hold on the scroll bar and roll it. Not too bad that way.

Always reliable and easy to use. Definitely saves on wear and tear on my hand and wrist. Saves space on my desk too, since there's no need for a mouse pad.

Size of product is perfect- very comfortable. Very good in small space like my situation using large laptop on pullout computer drawer in entertainment center. Just room for the tracking ball but no space to move a mouse around as needed.

Great functioning trackball. Allows me to manipulate the ball with just my finger tips. Much less traumatizing to my wrist than repetitive jerking of the mouse. Windows drivers work well and was able to download the linux work around for scrolling.
