I have a iphone, ipad and Kindle. Any time I have to type, using the device's QWERTY touch key, it's a pain. I am a very good typist and this keypad fits the bill for me! i use this with all 3 of my devices and I can't be without it! I wish it were thinner and I'd like to see a cover or enclosure for this pad, but this didn't come that way. It would have been fantastic if this keyboard offered a number pad! I've programed each device and only need to turn a knob to select the device I want the bluetooth to link with and just type away! I've yet to change the batteries, or need to change them. I had previously purchased a clamshell keypad online, which quickly (within 2 weeks) failed to work properly and I returned it. This is a great device and the price was pretty good too!

Good Value Keyboard for Phone and Tablet

This keyboard is a good value. The keys have travel and it will hook to 3 devices by bluetooth which are selectable by the dial. Power is by a slide switch on the bottom. It is not an ultralight but when I want to type I can type. Batteries are standard AAA so if you run out of juice you can pick them up anywhere. The biggest drawbacks of the unit are it doesn't come with a cover which makes me nervous putting it in a backpack and it does feel like it adds more weight than my iPad to my load. Also, check your device to see if it will fit in the slot as some cases add too much width.

Best Universal Bluetooth Keyboard Period!

I've finally found the perfect universal bluetooth keyboard that works flawlessly with Windows, Android or Apple. It's extremely easy and quick to sync (less than 1 minute) and I love the fact it works off of 2 AA batteries! Furthermore, it allows you to sync 3 Bluetooth devices simultaneously! I can type on my iPad, smartphone and Smart TV seemlessly by simply turning the knob from 1-3. If you're looking for a cost effective, user friendly and portable yet durable bluetooth keyboard then look no further as this is one of Logitech's best keyboards that they've made bar none!

I'm so happy with the purchase of this keyboard, perfect size, easy connection and wireless, awesome, and the batteries last for a long time, perfect to chat on the tablet or phone, easy to switch between them and the price, wow, very affordable. I totally recommend this awesome keyboard, you can set it up for three systems, tablet, photo or another keyboard for your laptop (detached, wireless) and be connected to them at the same time, all you have to do is select the number assigned to each system and voila

Good Keyboard for Tablets

This keyboard is the right size, not too big or small. It has 3 settings so you can use 3 different devices. We have it set up for an iPad Air and a Galaxy Tab S and switching between the 2 is simple. The slot that holds the devices is large enough to hold the tablets in their cases and is at a good angle for working. It is on the heavy side which is good for stability but not so much for carrying around.

The keyboard does its job. It is light weight but not cheaply made where it feels hollow. It is easy to carry. It is easy to connect devices. I use it to connect my tablet as way to convert it to a portable mini laptop. I also tried it with my phone and used a word processor. Dependening on the device you have it might lag. It lagged when I used my phone but not with my tablet or laptop.

I am very pleased with this usb keyboard, being able to switch between my phone, Ipad, and pc with a simple turn of a dial is quite convenient. Very easy to use on any platform, best suited for the user constantly switching devices at home or the office. the holding tray is big enough to hold almost any mobile device (without a case) and the unit is heavy enough to not tip over while a tablet is in the tray. Battery power (AAA) and power switch (underside) are nice features for those who misplace charging cords often, just remember to turn power to 'off' when not in use so the Bluetooth link to your device doesn't continue unnecessarily. I would not suggest this keyboard for small/tight pockets in a purse/backpack etc... as it is larger and thicker than most tablets, and buttons are raised over the top surface which could catch or pop-off inside a fully packed backpack/ etc...

I needed a different keyboard as my old one decided to suck and the letters rubbed off the keys. I like this one because you can program three different bluetooth enabled devices concurrently and switch between them. There is a slot at the top where you can perch a phone, tablet, even a small paperback! The keys are a little clacky, but there isn't anything missing and the batteries have lasted so long - even with me forgetting to switch off the power. I think it has an auto shut off after a certain time of inactivity. I know that it is supposed to be a compact version of a keyboard, but sometimes I miss having a separate number key pad. This works fantastic for when I want to use my computer in tablet mode, when I used it with my tablet at work and for when I need to write a lengthy trolling comment online and all I have is my phone.

I bought the device to use with Amazon Firestick, which it DOES NOT work for, however, it works fine for my tablet and smart TV's. Reasonably priced and built well. Multi device capability without disconnecting and re-pairing. Would have rated it 4 stars if it had been compatible with Firestick....

The Logitech K480 keyboard is an excellent choice for a keyboard to connect to your iPhone, Android, iPad, or other mobile device. Pros: 1. Key feel is nice 2. Touch placement is adequate and works for touch typing 3. Key travel is sufficient 4. Key stiffness is good 5. Tactile feedback is good 6. Weight and solid feel is Excellent 7. Battery life is great with ability to replace with standard/common AAA batteries 8. Ability to attach to 3 devices and switch between them with the rotary switch 9. Pairing works well and straight forward 10. Function keys like F1, F2, volume, cursor, etc. is a plus. Cons: Relatively few and I am nit-picking just to find any to say 1. Keyboard size, but this is a actually good because you do not want keys too small to touch type 2. Weight - it is a little heavy, but this adds to the solid feel and the keyboard does not move around when typing like some of the cheap stuff. 4. Limit connectivity to 3 devices; most people would not need to connect more. 5. Non-rechargeable - but that is not needed since it is so good with the use of batteries and replacement of batteries is with 2 standard AAA. 6. No speakers - wouldn't it be great if this keyboard even provided you with Bluetooth speaker capability in addition to the keyboard functionality? OK, that's a little out of scope for a keyboard, but that would make this product killer-good! Summary: Worth every penny and highly recommend. I like it so much, I pair it to my iPhone, iPad, and Computer. I had to choose, since there was only a maximum of 3 simultaneous connections and had to leave my Android tablet orphaned, but this allowed me to connect my most used devices. I like the keyboard so much, I use it even on my PC notebook computer because I like the keyboard better than the keyboard on the notebook computer! It also allows me to use one keyboard and switch between all my most used devices. So cool and convenient. It also allows me to use my iPad so much more so I do not use my PC as much. Full disclosure - I used this keyboard to write this evaluation - can you tell? ;-) This keyboard is a game changer!

It is a great Bluetooth keyboard and I highly recommend it!
Pros:
1. Easy to set up
2. Up to 3 devices to connect to
3. PC, Mac, Android and iPhone availability for connection!
Cons:
1. It is heavy for a portable keyboard but it does feel sturdy which is good enough I guess.
2. It is bigger than I thought (pictures of dimensions in pictures below)
3. I wouldn't pay $30 for it but it is great though (not sure if that is a con though).

I was looking for a portable Bluetooth keyboard to keep in my backpack and use with my tablets. This seemed to be a great fit and the ability to use multiple devices was a definite plus. However, it is quite large and very heavy - larger and heavier than any of my tablets. It also does not have a keyboard cover which to me seemed like it would need for that size. If you're looking for a portable keyboard to use with a tablet or phone this isn't the one you want. If you're looking for a nice keyboard to use and leave at home or the office it would be a great fit. Good quality and solid, just too big for me. I did end up returning it.

This is a good keyboard to use for all your devices. I enjoy the feel of the keys and I use it for my iPad and Mac Mini. The iPad stands really nicely in the groove provided as does my iPhone. I love the ease of turn a knob to whichever device you are using at the moment. The keyboard is on the heavy side, so I really wouldn't recommend it for traveling purposes, but for an at home/office keyboard it's a great product.

Small, light-weight keyboard. Bluetooth connectivity to 3 devices. Easy to use, and easy to set up: a plus when you are not tech savvy.
Sadly, the slot at the top is too small to accommodate Surface tablet. I would have made the slot an inch or so longer.

This keyboard is amazing. I was looking for another keyboard case for the new iPad I picked up but was dismayed to learn that keyboard cases were not chargeable anymore...when the charge is depleted the keyboard in the case is toast. I type alotabsigad to charge my old keyboard case once a week.
Logitech k480 to the rescue! It has an on/off switch and batteries! Plus it’s nearly a full size keyboard with some heft and weight to it (not too much but it isn’t fragile either). The keys are stiffer to push them most laptop ones are, but after 5-10 minutes of typing, I got used to that. The spacing was different enough from a full size keyboard that I had to slowdown in my typing a not to stop hitting the wrong keys initially (I type at 90-100 wpm usually). No big deal...I got used to the keys quickly.
I love the non magnetic holder - it’s a deep angled slot but it held my iPad firmly as I typed away. The three device selector was great so I didn’t have to keep re-adding devices.
This was also neat - if only disconnected once in the 20+ hours I’ve used it thus far. If I got twenty minutes on the old keyboard case without a hiccup it was a miracle!
All in all a solid and amazing product. The only suggestion I would make is to have they keys backlit. Other than that? Great keyboard! Highly recommended.

Pairs With Any Tablet Or Phone
Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.
This keyboard is designed to be used with any tablet or phone, including a Windows tablet, a Chrome tablet, an Android tablet or an Apple iPad. It has a dial which lets you select between three devices that have been paired. My Windows tablet is "one" and I just turn the dial to "two" to pair to my Android phone.
An eleven inch long tray at the top of the keyboard holds your tablet or phone upright. The keyboard is heavy so that it is stable while holding a large tablet.
After pairing, it can take a second or two for the keyboard to "wakeup" but then it works smoothly. Characters appear on the screen instantly, even at my fastest typing speeds.
The keyboard is about the size used on a 14 inch screen laptop which means it is about 95% of the size of the keyboard for an desktop computer and larger than the keyboard for a ten inch or eleven inch laptop. I can type at about 90% of the speed I reach with a good desktop keyboard.
The heavy weight means this keyboard is not really very portable. It is best used at home. Leave it on a desk or table. If you are typing a long email, just power on the keyboard, set the dial to the correct number to match your tablet or phone, put it in the holding slot and begin typing.
The holding slot is the correct width for a tablet or phone without a case or in a VERY thin case. My phone case fits in the slot but I have to remove the case on my tablet.
It had never occured to me to use a phone with a bluetooth keyboard. I was surprised how much easier it is to type a long email using a large keyboard. The only problem is that the fonts on my phone are difficult to read from the two feet of distance that using a keyboard requires. My ten inch screen tablet permits using larger fonts so typing with my tablet and this keyboard is actually easier than with my ten inch screen laptop and ten inch chromebook.
In the past I have used a desktop computer for writing long emails. This keyboard makes it easy to use my phone for long emails so my desktop will be getting dusty.

Pros: It is sturdy and is very easy to use. It works well with both my iPad and iPhone with one exception (see cons below) . IT is weighted so you don't have to worry about it falling over. Also the selector switch makes it easy to switch between my laptop, iPad and iPhone.
Cons: It is heavy and kind of large which makes it hard for travel. Also there is no support for "Send" in iMessage. That is not the fault of Logitech, but a problem with Apple. I originally bought it so I could use iMessage to my friends, family and other work contacts, but it is a real pain to have to reach up and tap "Send" on my device instead of just hitting enter.
