Customers are saying

Customers are impressed with the Performance Mouse MX's long battery life, comfortable ergonomics, and ease of use. Many appreciate its ability to work on various surfaces and its accurate tracking. While some find the price a bit high and the scroll wheel could be improved, the overall user experience is positive. The mouse's weight is also a point of contention for some users.

Logitech - Performance Mouse MX is the best mouse I have ever used on my Desktop. It fits my hand perfectly and works on any surface. The programmable buttons are a real plus. Using Logitech Set Point software really gives you a lot of flexibility. I highly recommend this mouse!

I've been in IT for decades now and am at the computer for hours at a stretch almost every day. The mouse and keyboard are essential for comfort and productivity. While this seems to be marked as a gamer mouse, it is great for development. The buttons are responsive and very light to the touch - important if you are clicking hundreds of times a day. The design is brilliant. It can be used while being recharged (as it is now). I have large hands and like to have a large mouse. I highly recommend this.

I have been using this mouse for several years without any problems. The charge on the mouse lasts a long time. You can use the mouse while it is recharging. It works great on any surface. I got this mouse on sale at a great price to use on a second computer.

I have had this mouse for eight months now, it's been working as advertised. I have had no issues at all. It works precisely every time without fail on all basically all surfaces you can moved the mouse on smoothly, wood, glass, bedding, couch, ect. The battery have been lasting a good three weeks off one charge, with few hours use a day. It's feels comfortable in my hand, not awkward. The design makes using for a long period of time feasible. The features and button layout make web browsing a faster experience then say compared to using a laptop touch pad.

I have an older rechargeable Logitech - Performance Mouse and it performed very well. This rechargeable mouse seems to be even better. My old rechargeable mouse lasted for 12 years, so I'm looking forward to another 12 years of exceptional use.

so my old mouse was going out. the button was not working every time I press on it. its the older version but looks and has the same function. weight and feel is the same which makes me happy. the only items im not happy about is the extra zoom button. I really don't need that button. the layout of where it is makes it horrible. I keep hitting that button when im trying to the back button instead. the other thing is that the battery dies faster than before. the good part is that its now built in rechargeable. that was a good thing. before though the battery would last a few months of daily use. now it would last about a few weeks at most. I just need to remember to recharge it more often. a rechargeable battery is included and a usb recharger too. they did take out the pointer speed control buttons. just when I thought I just got used to the whole thing they modify it. over all its pretty good for a non gaming mouse. im not a gamer. it will work as a gaming mouse less the extra buttons on a gaming version.

The best rechargable wireless mouse I've ever used. Have used many other wireless mice and this is the by far the best. Ergonomic with just the right features for me. Darkfield laser is amazing with tracking on multiple surfaces.

Good ergonomics for my right hand. Very responsive. Good match with my wireless Logitech K800 keyboard. Use the same USB adapter and same charging cable. Will go 2 to 3 weeks without charging depending how much I use it.

Wonderful mouse, only contoured/ergonomic mouse best buy had in the store. not quite as good/comfortably of a contour/fit as my old IBM mouse it replaced, but it makes up for that in other ways. It has a button that allows the scroll wheel to freewheel instead of being geared to only move the screen an irritatingly small amount at a time, so you can navigate anywhere on screen or in a document with ease, just remember that if you move the wheel too fast it wont stop on its own and u will have to stop it with a finger b4 it goes past your spot you want it to stop at or you will have to scroll back up again. it has built in zoom buttons and another button where your thumb rests that looks like its made to resize the current window but I haven't tried that one yet. unlike my old IBM mouse, this mouse is wireless, it comes with a "Logitech Unifying Adapter" that can recognize the mouse and several other devices(still don't know why it needs to recognize other devices yet) unfortunately it doesn't charge wirelessly but it can be charged by a wall outlet or USB port either/or. The charge also seems to hold for a minimum of 2-3 days up to a week or two depending on how much you use it. and there is an on/off switch underneath the mouse so you can turn it off when not using it so it doesn't keep using up its charge. it also has something called a "darkfield" sensor that seems to be able to track the mouse on any surface just as promised so that a mousepad isn't needed. only minor issue I sometimes have is when scroll wheel is freewheeling instead of being connected to a gear, if I tilt the mouse or the laptop desk accidentally my screen will move when I didn't want it to and sometimes the screen will move downwards by itself and I will move it back up only for it to move right back down and I will have to hold the scroll wheel still or keep moving it back up or lock it down to the gear to get screen to stay still. overall though its a wonderful product, a little pricy but worth it.

Awsome laser mouse with ease of use

This is my second laser mouse from Logitech. My first was the original MX1000. It was a great mouse that was easy to use and had great accuracy. When it finally decided to start and die on me, 10 years later, I was wondering if I was going to be able to find anything that would be comparable. Lo and be hold... Logitech came through yet again with a worth upgrade to my original. I love this new mouse! I get to use the same charging cable for it as I do for the keyboard, phone, Kindle, and a host of other things I use as well at the same receiver that my keyboard has. As I have had a button heavy mouse before there was not really much of a learning curve. The battery life is pretty good, it will last for about a week before needing to be plugged in again. I can use it on ANY surface I have on the desk. I was a little worried about it working with my Rocketfish gaming mouse pad as it is is a metal mouse pad, but it works great! I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for an accurate and easy to use mouse. The buttons come programmed with a basic set of commands. You can change them around if you want but for what I do the ones that are already there work just fine. So if your looking for a great mouse this is it.

This mouse has been great. I have a glass desk in which I have had no problems using the mouse. The mouse is very comfortable to the hand and it is just awesome that you can you use it anywhere. I am able to use it on my couch, bed, glass, tile or anywhere you can think of. It responds very well. I did have alittle bit of trouble getting the mouse set up at first because I also had a Logitech keyboard and the dongle provided is supposed to be universal. Once everything was connected and uploaded, it has been great and not having any issues.

This mouse is amazing for people who do not want their hands to hurt from using a computer for hours on end. Besides for the great ergonomics, the mouse has some great features for productivity. If you are a mac user and use the many gestures to control many of the awesome features of OSX, you do not have to worry about leaving those behind with this mouse. This mouse has great functionality and great ergonomics. I highly recommend it.

The Logitech Performance Mouse MX is a great mouse. It had plenty of buttons and the design fits my hand nicely and comfortably. The down side is that literally a week after I purchased it. Logitech came out with the update to this mouse. I would have returned it but decided to keep it. The sensor is fast and the rechargeable battery is awesome. I average about a week between charges and that is with turning off the mouse when not being used. My only complaint is that it occassionally will stick for a second or two. not a big issue with web browsning and such but can be a concern if you are using it for gamming.

This is one of the best mice Logitech has ever released. I've used this for tons of gaming and then years of daily IT/Office work and it's still going strong with great battery life (numerous days to a full work week). Excellent precision, good ergonomics, and great button placement. The click buttons did stop functioning once but a quick Google search fixed that (free spin scroll wheel somehow fixed it).

I used to use a Anywhere MX mouse which was great for moving from office to conference room to home, etc. However after long sessions I'd start to notice discomfort in my hand since it's a smaller mouse so decided to upgrade to the larger and more ergonomic Performance Mouse MX. No more discomfort and a much more friendly mouse for daily use at my desk. I wouldn't want to have to lug it around with my laptop to meetings, but I now use the Anywhere MX for that which is a great setup.
