This is great mouse; tt works flawlessly on every surface (glass, mirror, stainless steel). I never had one issue with any of them and the ergonomic is very good. The battery doesn't last much, but it's a rechargeable NiMh AA (included and replaceable) and it recharges using a USB cable (also included). Plus, you can recharge the battery while still using the mouse as if it were a corded unit. I bought it on on sale, and it is probably the best value I found for a mouse. You can't go wrong.

I did a lot of mouse shopping to replace one that was starting to have trouble with the scroll wheel after many years. It is difficult to replace something to which you have grown so accustomed to the fit and feel. Other than the obvious stuff on the product description, here are my notes.. . PRO - I really like having the "thumb button" in the base, where you press down with the side of your thumb. My old mouse had that. It can be programmed to do things like be a mute button, or switch applications (default behavior), or whatever you need. This one also has a "Zoom" button on the side, but that can also be reprogrammed for any feature. I currently have it programmed to behave like the middle-mouse button, because then I never accidentally scroll a bit when I try to click the middle mouse button. It is rechargeable via the included USB cable. That's nice. A charge lasts quite a long time, too. I also like the movement. Very steady and predictable. CON (but also a PRO) - The curvature is really narrow for my thumb. It's more like it was made for a finger rather than a thumb. It was almost a deal-breaker. However, once I started to get used to it, and stopped trying to nestle my thumb all the way in, it wasn't too bad. Some people might think of it as a gentle hug. On the bright side, it makes it very easy to lift the mouse, such as when you are doing a multi-step movement to get your cursor all the way across two monitors, etc.

This is my second one. My first one wouldn't charge but this was after several years of daily use. I have tried other wireless mice and this one is by far my favorite. I hope the do not quit making it because it is the one I want to continue to use.

Not sure why this mouse sucks the battery so bad...I've had other mice that didn't...maybe it's the tracking system...I don't need to use it on glass...if that's the capability that makes it such a battery hog, then drop it, because it is an otherwise excellent product for a right handed mouse user.

With my larger hand I can rest the meat of my hand (pinky side) flat on the desk, rest my palm fully on the top, rest my thumb fully in the cut out for it and both my index and middle finger perfectly placed on the two buttons. No tendinitis with this mouse. All controls are comfortably accessible. Has really fast center scroll wheel mode which I use often. Really works well on every surface I've used it on, including my leg. It has good weight and balance. Battery life is OK. Can be used while charging. I won't use anything else. Try not to drop it. It doesn't take much (3x to 4x to break my first one). Yet, I bought another immediately. It's that good. If it fits your hand you won't be disappointed. Use it with the Logitech K800 keyboard and have two wireless input devices with only one USB port taken. No more cramped mouse use for me.

I've used this for over a year and bought it for my coworker when he needed a mouse. We both think it's fantastic. Super ergonomic and lots of special buttons that you can customize.

I have this same mouse, myself, and when my son-in-law used my mouse he liked it. So I bought this Logitech-Performance Mouse MX as a Christmas present for him and he was very pleased...

Not a gamer, but I use this mouse almost daily to work from home. It fits my hand perfectly and is so comfortable. Worth the extra money if you're constantly on a computer and/or don't like using the touchpad on a laptop.

I love this mouse! I waited until it was a deal of the day and then purchased it - I won't use another mouse until this one dies - and Logitech mice don't die. It's high priced normally, but if it's on sale, get it!

It is pretty good all around. The reason I gave it 4 instead of 5 star is due to sensitivity. I don't feel the mouse is very precise given it is touted as using laser for tracking. To me, it feels not as good as my Apple magic trackpad.

The Logitech Performance Mouse MX is an excellent mouse. Very comfortable and responsive. Well designed & high quality. Great for gaming too, Wish it had bluetooth support, but overall still very satisfied with it.

I got this mouse a few years back for my pc. Recently I got a Xidax laptop, so i found the need for a 2nd. Great response time. The recharge feature is great. No more batteries. I would highly recommend this mouse.

I love this mouse. Feels natural and the rechargeable feature makes it top! You can adapt any of the four extra macro buttons to how you like. Engineer's dream!

I've had the model before this one for over 6 years at my office and it still works like new. Decided to get this one for the house and I was not disappointed. Hopefully this one lasts as long as the other.

Good, but the battery life sucks. Eventhough the battery is rechargeable, one full charge barely lasts two weeks. I dont know why they are not improving the power consumption of this product. Logitech has to do something regarding this.

Best computer mouse I have ever owned. The mouse fits very well in a hand. Material quality, mouse size, how fits in hand - everything perfect.

Good mouse for work & play, especially if you like a durable mouse for gaming without too many buttons. If memorizing a ton of different buttons is your thing, then this mouse may not be for you.

As a web developer, I spend a lot of time using my mouse. This one is larger than your typical mouse, which means I can rest my hand on it as I use it. I like that about it. This is my go-to choice when I need to purchase a new mouse.
