This addition to my keychain allows me to remotely start my car from inside the house or on the way out from a store.

I went with this remote because I hate recharging rechargeable batteries all the time. Being a 1-way remote it does not give you feedback when the car is locked and unlocked. In other words it is like a normal car key fob. Tip: if the remote will make a beep if you pressed it correctly. Here are the pairing directions from the back transcribed by google lens :::: 1-Way Remote Control The following routine is used to pair this remote to a compatible system. Prepare the vehicle system to be Paired with a new remote 1. Open at least one vehicle door. 2. Turn the key to the ON position. 3. Within 5 seconds press and release the Control button on the Control Center one time. 4. Within 5 seconds, press and hold the Control button on the Control Center. The status LED begins flashing in single flash sequence and the siren or horn (if connected) sounds once to confirm the system is ready for remote pairing. Release the button. Pair the remote control with the system: 1. Press and hold the (F) button for 8 seconds. The transmit LED will come on solid. Release the f button. 2. Press and hold the (circle arrow) button until the transmit LED flashes 3 times then comes on solid. 3. Press the (LOCK) button. 4. Wait several seconds for feedback as the remote generates a security encryption and sends it to the Control Center. If pairing is successful, the siren or horn sounds, turn off the vehicle key to exit vehicle pairing. If pairing is not successful press and release the (F) button once and then repeat steps 2 & 3. To exit pairing mode on the remote: Press and release the (F) button once, then press and hold until the transmit LED shuts off or wait 30 seconds without pressing a button.

It has a remote start and I can turn my car on so it can cool of before I entry the battery in the control last a long time

This is a very affordable working viper remote. I lost my previous remote. What you would want to know about this one is that it only starts the car and does not report that it has started the car. This works a fair distance and through many walls. For the price you cant beat it.

Super easy to pair up. Package instructions stink, but there is a YouTube video that is hugely helpful. Took literally 1 minute. This is a 1way remote, I put this one on my spare set and upgraded my daily set to the 2way. Glad I did, it chirps at me as acknowledgement

Second car with rhe viper. Loved the first one so much on the sons car i wanted this too. First of all you should wait for a good deal, like on a holiday. The price drop is very significant, plus the free insall is handy. Second, the unit is very programable. You cant program it but a viper dealer installing the unit has the access. He can have the unit honk, flash, whatever you want. Lastly the app is very user friendly. You can even have multiple vehicles. Love this unit, would highly recommend it to anyone.

I bought this remote as an upgrade to the system I got that had a remote with only 1 button for all functions. This remote is definitely easier to use and is very light weight.

Works well and the shell lasted a really long time I recommend it especially with the remote start

The best car mod I've EVER done! I can't say enough positive about this system. This one is the one-way remote. I really strongly prefer the two-way, but bought this one for my wife who hardly ever drives my vehicle and doesn't care (the range on these things is absurd, but she still uses it like the shamefully-short-range factory remote, so in that case, it was worth saving the money on this one (this one still has the absurdly long range, I just mean she wouldn't pay attention to / care about the two-way part of the communication)

The staff was not very knowledgeable about this product. Some would tell me this is the product im looking for others would say no it wont work. Had to take it back in a number of times and even the geek squad couldnt figure out how to fix the problem of simply starting the car

Ii gave 5 stars because it works just like the original remote with the exception that it doesn't have a return. Which by the way is why it's called a one way instead of a two way remote. I new this when I bought it. I just needed a second remote. Glad I brought it. Works great and easy to program. Can be purchased cheaper at Amazon, I had Best Buy reward points to use up.

I had the hardest time trying to pair this with my challenger. My car came with a viper 2 way remote and all of a sudden after 3 years the remote started dying on me. I literally would put a battery in it and its dead the next day. Left it alone for a year and decided to look into it this winter. Went to bestbuy, explained my issue to a installer and he said get this. Its not two way but it should fix the issue. He said it shouldnt be anything wrong with the parts in the car since its just the remote dying so simply getting another remote should do the trick. I brought it on Thanksgiving 2021, been trying to pair it ever since. I get to the 4th and 5th steps and it does nothing. Luckily I had until the 15th of this month to take it back so I did. Want to just take my car up there and say hey can you show me how to pair it but afraid they may want to charge me for an install fee..

Remote has good range. So far has been reliable. Self explanatory easy to use.

My Viper Remote fob stopped working. Both of them in fact stopped working. I thought I was going to have to purchase another alarm system. Thankfully all I had to do was buy another fob and the car installation shopped programmed it and it worked!!!! Whew!!!!! Recommend Viper!!!
