Geek squad is easy tonise sometimes. Well see how thos experience goes. It is nice to have some added protection.

After about a year and a half the laptop would not turn on unless plug directly to a charger. Also windows would not open properly and I would have to try to troubleshoot multiple times, and once I tried to hard reset it’s been loading for months now definetly get protection on any purchase

I was extremely disappointed to learn that i had to pay best buy to ship my pc to HP for repair while PC was still under warranty. It makes no sense when HP will send me a box and a shipping label to send it to
them for free! What sense does it make to add Geek Squad as a middle man when HP covers the shipping and does the repair? it’s an absolute waste of money to pay geek squad to do something that HP did for me directly for free!!

I’m writing this after a year of my repair. (At the time I was a month away from moving out of state.) I went to bestbuy geek squad to get my laptop battery fixed. It took them about 2 or 3 weeks to get it repaired. After I went back to pick it up, my charger was different and wasn’t the one that came with the laptop(which is Dell). I asked what happened to it and they didn’t know. So they gave another one which was from HP and not dell. At the time, I also notice that the right side of the pc near the track pad was a little bent. As if something was swollen or wouldn’t fit. Ever since that I’ve had many performance and battery problems. I CANT EVEM USE IT WITHOUT A POWER CABLE BECAUSE IT WONT RECOGNIZE THE BATTERY. I’m gonna try to get support again. I don’t think this is supposed to happen.
