Customers are impressed with the lightweight design, comfortable keyboard, and great performance of the 2-in-1 13.3" Touch-Screen Laptop. They appreciate the long battery life and affordable price point. However, some users have concerns about the fan noise, overheating issues, limited port selection, and poor camera quality.

1080p screen, 16gb of RAM, and 512gb SSD packed into a slim 2-in-1 chassis. Pretty great specs for only $1050.
Pros:
- The battery life is quite decent; i am a developer and can get around ~7 hours of work in before needing to plug in again.
- The keyboard layout is great and the key travel makes it not too bad to type on.
- The touchpad is very smooth and accurate; it is a windows precision touchpad so all the Windows 10 gestures will work fine.
- The 1080p IPS panel is decent and has bearable light bleeding.
- The speakers are actually quite good; they get pretty loud and do not distort much even at high volumes.
- The chassis does produce quite a bit of heat since the unit is so slim but it does not get uncomfortably hot when sitting on your lap. Using ThrottleStop, i was able to undervolt the CPU by 85mV which keeps the max temperature when under load to 75°C (tested using Aida64 to stress system and HWMonitor to capture system temps - without undervolt, the max temps under load reach a toasty 88°C).
Things i would've liked to see though are:
- Thunderbolt 3 USB type C ports (currently the left port is dedicated only for charging and the right port is a USB 3.1 for data and display out).
- A PCI SSD (there is a SATA SSD with ~500 read/write).
- A decent 1080p webcam for video conferences.
- An easy way to toggle the fn keys on/off without needing to go into the BIOS.
Overall, this is a great portable laptop for a very competitive price when compared to other 2-in-1s.

This is an unbelievable device for the price and possibly the most bang for the buck you can get. Intel i7 cpu? 16gb RAM? 512gb SSD? N-trig Stylus support? FHD Display? Two USB-C ports? Fingerprint Reader? Very impressive speakers? All metal build from high grade aluminum?
CHECK, CHECK, CHECK AND CHECK ALL THE WAY. THIS LAPTOP HAS EVERYTHING, AND THE PRICE? LESS THAN $900?. UNBELIEVABLE, BUT TRUE! GOOD JOB ASUS.

So far this razor thin, 2 in 1 computer is spectacular! Everything of the Surface Pro & more, but for 1/2 the price... fyi, I purchased the surface pen instead of the bamboo pen because I liked its features better... perfectly compatible!!

Purchased open box (like new) to replace my work Lenovo Yoga gen 2. The weight and size are perfect for travel and batter life is acceptable at ~5+ hour usable time during flights. Screen is crisp and vivid, audio is clear and camera seems to work great during Skype chats. The trackpad is excellent, fingerprint reader works most of the time.
There doesn't seem to be a dedicated graphics card so presumably some of the RAM is used for graphics. With 16GB available, I haven't noticed anything but also don't work with graphic intensive applications. The PC does get very hot when the CPU is in prolonged use and the fan noise is noticeable. The keyboard travel is also annoyingly shallow.
I typically charge the unit through a second monitor (HP) but am restricted to using the left "charging port". I still don't understand why both type C ports cannot be used to charge. I've also noticed that I have to start the PC before inserting the monitor/charging cable or it won't charge. At first, I drained the batter a few time even though the secondary monitor was working. From a design perspective, the back edge of the screen hits the desk and seems to raise the body of the PC by a few mm. This may be by design to help keep the CPU cool but may dent soft wood desk surfaces.
For the price, this PC is a great bargain and provides plenty of power and memory. I'm very happy with the purchase and slowly getting used to the keyboard.

As Close to a MacBook as I Could Get

I had been wanting a MacBook for a very long time. However, my work requires programs like Visio Pro, that will only work on a PC. So when I needed to replace my aging Thinkpad, I decided to see if I could get close to the specs of a MacBook. I did, and then some!
This Asus has a great screen (videos look amazing), it is light-weight, and it has a 512 GB solid state hard drive, which mean this machine is very zippy. Battery life is great too. Also, while having a touchscreen wasn't on my specs list going in, it turns out to be a nice plus. (For example, I use it with Spotify when I am practicing guitar. I just tap the screen to hit play/pause, or fast forward and reverse.)
The Asus customer service is very good. It so happened that my computer's back-liighting for the keyboard wasn't working. It turned out that this only needed a simple driver update to get it working, and this was quickly fixed with one call to Asus.

Super Light and Great Battery Life

I researched laptops for about three weeks before I decided on the Q325.
Needed something for school that was ultraportable, lightweight and thin.
My price range was $1000-$1500 and included a lot of different laptops-- Spectre, the Yoga, MSI, MacBook, Samsung, etc. Basically looking for the thinnest, lightest laptop with the best specs. Spec wise, this laptop has the highest ratings in the price range (and was available without having to wait for a week).
I've had the Q325 for about three weeks now and I love this thing. The battery life is phenomenal (right now, I'm at 58% capacity and have 6.25 hours left with battery saver on). This laptop is thinner than a deck of cards and VERY light.
A couple of things to note:
1. Keyboard is backlit (just realized this yesterday, two weeks after I bought it haha).
2. You must power cable on the USBC plug on the left, the right does not work.
3. This is NOT a gaming rig. Even running Hearthstone will make this laptop run very warm and nuke your battery.
4. Very surprisingly, there was essentially no bloatware when I purchased.
5. With the screen up, the laptop rests on the hinges on the back- you might want to put something on them to protect them (they are shiny metal).
6. The fingerprint log in is very easy and fast to use.
7. No moving parts!!! Instant start up and load times. Laptop is totally silent when fan is off. The fan is barely audible when it is on.
The screen is not 4k, but with a laptop this small I'm not sure it's necessary. Besides, 4k uses battery power much faster than 1080p.
Overall, I would recommend this laptop if you need something ultraportable without having to sacrifice too much. The battery life is great (if managed appropriately), the laptop is super thin and very light weight, and the matte gray finish is nice and resists most smudges. This was a very good purchase and I have no second doubts after having it for a little over two weeks.

I personally said I wouldn’t buy another ASUS laptop after my last one I returned. Though this one caught my eye.
Screen: The display while small, is very color rich and sharp. I enjoy watching movies and browsing online with it. Very easy to read and clear. Very rigid especially when opening and closing the lid. The touchscreen is ACCURATE. The Bamboo windows ink pen is VERY precise and a compliment. Worth every penny to get it. Since ASUS doesn’t include it and theirs costs more.
Keyboard: VERY Nice. It has great travel (way better than apples new one) and it has tactile feedback. The Keys are click and a tad loud but nothing like my Logitech G105 non mechanical keyboard. Spacious and spread out well.
Speakers: Very surprised. The array is untraditional. There are 2 woofers and two mid/high range speakers. They are very clear and precise. DO NOT expect subwoofer bass but will play lower than most. They are not super loud, which helps retain them from distorting.
Track pad: It’s precise just a tag glitch which I think the drivers cause. Or maybe my finger placement. It is moth and clean. No issues to point out.
Design: I do prefer the previous model but the sharper design of this one keeps my happy. Its light, balanced well, which is shocking since 70% of the weight is battery on the right side.
Heat Dissipation: It could use a bit more ventilation. Though I think better thermal compound should help. It truly never gets too hot. I can’t really hear the fan unless in a dead silent room. Sometimes I don’t even think it turns on. The keyboard never gets hot. Warmish but not hot. The bottom plate can get hot but not to the point of burning your skin. You will feel it through your jeans or shorts etc. Nothing major.
Ports: Very limited but versatile. I do not use them often. The included adaptor is helpful. Wish I had SD card but I have other ways to use those. USB C works well with AND USB converter or cable.
Performance: Startup is smooth, fast and resuming windows after sleeping the computer is not bad. The sign in tine is less than 1 second from sleep. A few from login via password. Smooth loading, Chrome doesn’t like it but that’s due to not having 1703 installed. Edge is great for a quick use (yea its Internet explorer de-bloated) works very well for quick information.
SSD: The SSD is truly only SATA 3. It is NOT NVME which I would prefer, but upgrading is EASY. Removing the case lets you install a PCI-E OR NVME. The port takes them all. Very pleased with that. I want to put a 960 Pro in one day. Potentially 1TB.
Battery: I can go a full day using it. I have gone 2 days with it lightly using it for Spotify, FB, Word, and Netflix etc. I am not doing insane amounts of work on it. The battery is 9 hours SOLID. 11.5 hours with just basic browsing and no streaming. No complaints as my MacBook pro I had before was rated at 9 and never made it over 6 hours. Only thing they could do better is letting the battery life be shown easier.
Overall: I give it a 9.9 out of 10. Mainly due to the charger cable being non-extendable. It’s a stationary 2 prong plug to USB C. This is a completely Solid performer. Light, Portable and well rounded.

For the price, this is one of the best computers on the market right now. Unlike the Surface line from Microsoft, the HP Envy or any of the Dells, polarized lenses in your glasses will not interfere with your view of the screen. It's extraordinarily light and entirely metal so it's tough, though I did manage to scratch the powder coat on the lid accidentally. The keyboard is very nice with good travel and the finger print reader just works. It's on par for speed and accuracy with Touch ID on Apple products. It's stupid fast and boot up is less than 15 seconds. It comes with a port replicator in the box which inexplicitly does not have a slot for memory cards. It does have regular USB 3 and HDMI though. If memory cards aren't and issue for you, the included port replicator will save you money. The computer itself has two USB C ports and nothing else. Only the left one is powered and that is also the only one the port replicator works on. Charging the tablet is thru that port and the port replicator has a pass thru for the charger. All in all, a great computer as long as you can work around the limitations of only having two USB C ports. There is nothing else remotely as good for any where near the price of admission.

Prior to buying this laptop i did my research and it was between this and the hp spectre x360. I decided on this machine because the specs were pretty much identical to the spectre but at a better price. The build quality is great, very sturdy. The display is good, it is 1080p but its nice and crisp. The keyboard is fine, once you get used to it typing is a breeze. The trackpad is my favorite since it is windows precision and allows for all sorts of gestures in windows 10. Most importantly, performance is great. I use this for work a lot and it handles anything i throw at it. Browsing the web and watching movies on this is a pleasure. I dont really use tablet mode or tent mode too often but it is there and thats nice.

Both myself and my other half were in the market for new computers. I wanted something light that I could travel with. He wanted performance. This laptop is thin, lightweight and performs at lightening speed. I can easily download movies and stream with ease. We read where it can overheat but have not experienced this. We both are happy with our selection. It doesn’t have USB ports but comes with an adapter and we each got another so it makes it so easy to use. Love it!

Asus Q325UA is a Very good laptop. Its fast and very light weight.
Its priced the same as Lenovo or HP for 2x the config.
Advantages: Light weight, fast and quick boot with Windows 10.
Disadvantages: Only 2 USB- C available. Need extender to connect USB or HDMI etc
But if you can live with the disadvantage; its a very good laptop.
I rate 4.5.
Thanks

Got this computer for my wife's stand up desk. I like that it has great speed, nice picture and is very light. I'm not a huge fan of the USB C connection though. I needed to use it to connect to a docking station for monitor, keyboard and mouse and other USB connections. The computer by itself doesn't have USB 2 or 3 ports. That's my main reason for only giving it 4 stars. While it does come with a USB C to HDMI and USB 3.0 port, that's not enough by itself to make this laptop great. Overall, I would recommend it if you want to travel light or use the cloud for file storage.

This laptop was purchased for work with my customers in client's new datacenters. I am completely satisfied after nearly a year of use.
Pros
Hardware configuration (no performance issues)
Weight.
Battery and autonomy - about 7-8 hours "at full throttle" on battery
Screen (FullHD - enough for 13.3").
Contra
Sometimes I need to use a wired network connection. There is no such device in the kit. Such dongle are present on the market at a fairly reasonable price. Even the ASUStech has one, but it isn't in this kit. :(

I have had this laptop for over a month, and I have had few problems at all. I love this computer so much! Here are some of the problems I had with the computer. The webcam camera is sufficient for video recording, but it is not that good quality compared to other computer's cameras. The computer does get a little loud with the fan, and it does get a little bit hot, but this does not happen frequently. Sometimes, it takes the computer a couple of times to recognize my fingerprint.
Cons:
Charger only works on left side of computer
Not enough ports (when you plug in the dongle that comes with the computer, you only have one usb a port)
Does collect fingerprint smudges, so you have to clean it
No thunderbolt port
Pros:
Keyboard and touchpad (some people mentioned the touchpad as bad, but I find it to be very responsive. The touchpad feels very nice and smooth too. Also, the touchpad has window gestures)
Backlit keyboard (has different levels of brightness too)
Battery life
Very fast (SSD makes startup easy)
Convenient 2 in 1 design
Lightweight - 2.4 lbs
Overall, it is a great computer. It looks and performs really well!
P.S. If you want a stylus with this computer, the Wacom bamboo ink stylus CS321AK works well with it!

I needed power and portability

I needed something powerful that could run all my programs for the entirety of my degree, while also being 100% portable and easy for lengthy reading jobs. I use software and programs that are taxing and this computer has kept up. It's been 2 years and only downside is I have no idea how to clean the fan as my laptop gets quite hot where the power cord inserts. I use an air duster but that's a very temporary fix. Think eventually I'll have to take it in to be serviced which is not what I expected.
The other thing is the annoying glare but I got a screen protector to be able to use my fingers on tablet mode and it helped tremendously.
Overall, I love this laptop. Asus makes great equipment and I'm banking on this purchase lasting me through most of my adult life. It's processor is something comparable to my old Asus computer, that's a pretty sweet deal in such a slim piece of machinery.

I purchased this to replace the previous year's laptop from Asus. This one is a little larger (and heavier) but includes a touch screen (windows ink) and a much better fingerprint reader. Out of the box the system would not boot. Apparently you need to plug it in. Unlike previous models the power is on the left, not the right, even though there are two USB C ports. The system itself is responsive, the display is crystal clear, and there was not too much bloatware installed. Overall, a great purchase.

Bought this after testing a 15.6" Lenovo 2 in 1 - just too heavy and large for taking on the road all the time. Lots of Surface recommendations, but I just couldn't spend the $$. This laptop is lightweight and has enough hard drive and RAM to last a long time as technology advances and requirements increase. Is it as stylish as a Surface? No. But it's not ugly - and I'll take the i7 processor and 16GB RAM over Surface specs any day. Great touch - responsive touchpad - the only reason it isn't five stars is the lack of traditional USB ports. Only USB-C with an included dongle. It works ok - it's just another step and a hassle. I can live without a CD/DVD drive, but living without a resident USB is an adjustment. The price you pay for a thinner, lighter, sexier laptop.
