Having support from the Geek Squad is handy and if the labtop runs into problems i can contact or bring my labtop in so they can troubleshoot and correct the problem.

Bought a samsung 55inch tv which after 2 years it gave out and needed a mew screen... dont buy samsung tvs they suck.. luckily i had a 5 year service plan which granted me the purchase price towards a new tv. After a few days of waiting my credits were approved and i had a new tv delivered shirtly after.... only draw back is that you must go through geek sqaud to attemp to fix the item before they would give me the credits and that part sucked as i had the tv in store for them to check but i was turned away and told to make a appointment for in home care and that the repair people alone had the power to approve it!

I've had a good experience using the protection. Bought it on a headset that I use daily, and when it broke. The process was extremely easy and fast. I had a new one same day. This makes life stress-free.
Just read what's covered for the item you're buying. Some items aren't protected fully as you might assume. Like TVs for example, read the fine print.
But for most other items lots of time it's protected very well

Very helpful and answered my questions. When they recommended it would be best to add the two year warranty I asked them what would happen if the warranty ran out and the calculator stopped working right. They said that's why they would recommend a two year warranty just in case that was to happen, I could return it for a new one.

I'm so glad I bought access to the Geek Squad. The first antenna I purchased was not going to get me the channels I needed. It was explained to me that for $10 more, I could get what I wanted. He was right.

We have not needed to use Geek Squad service for the most current unit we purchased, but we have used it in the past for our Kitchenaid Range. Geek Squad service was excellent and gave us peace of mind.

I am hesitant to acknowledge that I am still using a Windows PC (I love my iMac). However as often as I have a problem with my Windows PC, the first step in solving the problem is to call on the experts at Geek Squad. I have had the Geek Squad called in at least eleven times within the past year to assist in getting my PC back to normal operating status, and each time the technician was able to resolve the problem(s). There has been no time limit as to how long they had to take to COMPLETELY resolve the issue, they take as much time as necessary to finish the job (unlike other computer "repair shops" , which just patch the problem and send you on your way. I highly recommend anyone purchasing anything at Best Buy when asked if they want to purchase Geek Squad protection, without a second thought to say "DEFINITELY - Y E S" ! The minimal cost of the protection outweighs the cost of having to replace the original purchased item.
