The Geek Squad warranty paid for itself when my tv had a row of pixels go out. Ended up with a much better TV because the original one was no longer made. The 5 year warranty is a no brained for modern electronics that are basically throw away.

Hi, I thought I had an issue with my player, however, I simply did not have it hooked up correctly. The tech was prompt, clean, and courteous. There were no issues with my product just bad documentation. I had redundant wiring issues. Basically all he had to do was unplug a bunch of wires.

Cameras, phones, electronics...I always purchase the extra Geek Squad protection...if they can't fix it..they will replace it....no hassles. Customer service is excellent....I have gone to multiple locations in the Bay Area for service and have had excellent results at all locations!

Bought this for my kid's blu ray player in his room. Fairly low price for the number of years and its longer than his last one survived (it was not abused or mishandled in any way, just quit reading discs after about 2 years). So I figure if this one lasts 50% longer, the extended warranty is worth it.

If you spend a decent amount of money on your Best Buy purchase, you should really think about buying Geek Squad protection. Best Buy is much easier to deal with than the manufacturer and they back up what they sell. It has really paid off for me in past purchases and I like the peace of mind.

I am a believer in buying additional warranty support/ replacement warranties. Technology isn’t perfect and occasionally you might get a dud after the warranty has expired, which can really suck. I personally feel yes, spring the extra few bucks for peace of mind, then I won’t worry about it. For those of us on a budget, even getting the lowest plan can be a good investment, if you know you’re going to be using the technology on a regular basis / heavy use.

I have actually used these warrenties 3 times with Best buy. Once for a printer, once for a computer component, and just lately for the panasonic blu-ray. I get the 4 year for $20 for small appliances. It;'s likd renting the items for 4 years, because they will replace it at the store for a simularly priced item.

I was able to exchange my 4K blu ray player twice after both players had the same issue of a static-y start up screen. I gave up hope with the player and because of my warranty here I was able to switch it out and purchased an Xbox one s. Very pleased with the service here and protection plans.

The last thing you want is to get a lemon product and have to deal with the manufactures warranty. GSP will make your exchange very easy and protects you for a longer time so that you can keep using your awesome equipment.

Any time I buy an appliance or technology product from Best Buy, I purchase the Geek Squad protection plan for items costing $80 or more. It is well worth the money. I had a Toshiba 1080p HDTV go out last year, and got the full purchase price back, which I then applied to a bigger better Samsung model.

Geek squad Always provides peace of Mind for Me On any Best Buy purchase. As a long time Best Buy customer this Plan has Paid for itself, it is Inexpensive solid protection for any item You buy. If Something goes wrong no questions asked it's taken care of. Don't buy without it.

Worth every penny to purchase these protection plans on anything electronic, at one point or another an electronic is going to fail and with this, you don't have to worry about it all! they take care of you very well and promptly and have even replaced my laptop hanks to this plan

Unfortunately, I have had to use a Geek Squad protection plan a time or two and each time it was no hassle got my refund to purchase a new that same transaction. I've always bought a plan on my bigger more expensive products it and it's been well worth it each time I've had to use!

Best Buy's protection plans are definitely worth the cost! I purchased a DVD player from another retailer a year ago without a purchase plan, and it just stopped working. The one I just bought is full 4K UHD.

Anytime you purchase technology it is wise to get the extra coverage. I only trust my purchases to Best Buy. They are local and I have the annual membership .

I highly recommended this for any and all electronics purchases. I returned equipment that failed and received a full refund. This is way better than dealing with similar warranty programs.

Was able to return malfunctioning old Sony 4K and put money towards upgrade 4K player. Best Buy was very helpful with my return and purchase. Always get the Geek squad protection, pays off in the long run.

A really good price for four years of coverage. Hopefully I won't ever need to use this but I know if I have to it will work out great. I've used Best Buys protection plan in the past and it has always been easy to use and worth the money for when things do go wrong.

I bought the 4 year protection on my 20 month 65" Sony TV and was glad I did! The power source went out and the geek squad repaired in my home free of charge. Plus if the problem persists, I get a new tv. So I also bought the coverage for my 4k player.

I always pick up the Geek Squad Protection on high dollar items just in case a year or so from now things go south with the product. I have always had a good experience with Best Buy when having to use this protection in the past!
