I went in to purchase another washer which was no longer on sale. The salesman found this washer for me and I'm so glad he did. It's quiet, holds a huge load, and really gets the clothes clean. It's basic, just like I wanted. But gets the job done.

This Roper washer does a very good job. It's not fancy, but does have everything for most people's needs: three fill levels, three water temperatures, and casual, normal, and delicate speeds. I would give it five stars except that I don't like the mandatory door locking feature and the lack iof a buzzer when wash is completed. That said, I don't think I could have found a better washer at the Roper's low price.

I purchased as part of a set and my first new machines. I did a lot of research online and found these to suit my needs but was a little concerned about the agitator as I've never used one. This little machine cleans like some of the big boy machines I've used in the past. It's pretty quiet - I can barely hear anything after closing the laundry room door. I ended up declining the install as I didn't want to pay extra for something I could do myself. The install was super easy and I love my machines.

Decent but takes too long to wash a small load on the lightest setting. Also jumped away from the wall by half a foot the first time we used it. But it cleans well and gets more water out of the clothes after the spin cycle than most other washers I've used.

This washer works well. For the price I paid ($299.99), I was expecting much less. It has 9 different cycles (although I haven't tried all of them yet), and 3 different temperature settings. It is very easy to pause loads if you need to unlock it mid-cycle, which is something I've always had issues with in the past. Overall, it's a nice, standard washer.

Got this on sale for $299. I wouldn't pay more, but for that price it is a very good value. Only negative is that the timer runs even with the lid open, so you leave lid open too long and close it then it will wash for a few seconds and then empty. Close the door after filling and no problems.

I went back and forth between this machine and a HE Samsung for $399. After talking to a few individuals owned both machines I decided to purchase the Roper. If you want something that has all the Bells and Whistles this isn't the machine for you. If you need a basic machine and don't mind an agitator this gets the job.

Firstly- I have a short attention span. This washer has to be started with the lid down within 10 minutes of filling with water. Otherwise it drains all the wash water without starting the wash cycle. Big waste of water and detergent. So because I try to multi-task, I forget the washer lid needs shutting and here I go again starting the laundry. At least 4 times so far. I always go looking for those straggling socks and get distracted. Oh well. Other than that, fantastic.

This machine is great for those who need a new one and fast! Extremely easy to use. Not high efficiency but it's definitely the best non-HE machine I've owned.

The nine wash cycles are more than enough for my small family.
There are only two minor things I would like to improve. The tub fills a lot slower than our previous washer, and this washer does not include a fabric softener dispenser built in.

Roper is a very good product. I purchased this for my son and his family and they love both the washer and dryer. I have had my Roper set for 13 years and still going strong with no problems. Best buy also gave free delivery. Can't beat this deal!!

it is a cheap no frills washer. Purchased it just to bridge the gap between our old washer breaking down and getting a new one after a basement rehab. Fits the bill and is better than going to the laundry mat.
