Software work well. Don’t like the auto renew. Better to let it lapse and buy again in store

Norton 360 has always been a great product. I have never had a problem with any of their products. Utilizing this product has made me another satisfied consumer. As the product worked flawlessly on my PC. I downloaded the product and was able to start using it within minutes of downloading the software to my PC. I let the software run it's normal checks and it didn't find anything wrong which was suspected as it was a brand new PC. After utilizing the software for a week I final was able to get some sort of notification and that was when I was connecting to a public wifi and it stated that I needed a VPN. To which I allowed it to find one and it worked flawlessly. Overall I'm very happy with all of the Norton Products but I'm also very satisfied with this particular Norton product. It was very easy to use, easy to set up, and easy to continue to use without taking up a ton of memory or CPU usage. I highly recommend this product to anyone that needs a good PC product that will keep your computer safe.

    Good as-expected protection from Norton

I've been using Norton product since the mid-90's in college. Always the standard and complete protection on my Windows machines for years. This particular package has all the bells and whistles including VPN which was attractive to me. Since I use both Mac and Windows machines, and frankly never had used this on a Mac, I tried it on my MacBook first. Install was relatively easy. But I didn't like the request for all the additional permissions within the Mac security settings. Ran ok, but I did feel a bit of a slowdown during usage and especially web browsing. After testing a few days, I did a complete uninstall from the Mac which I felt ran bette without it. Installing onto my Windows 11 machine then, I felt it integrated and ran much better. More common and familiar, and to me at least I didn't notice as much restriction and slow down. Updates are easy, scans are good, and VPN toggle on/off is super easy. I'd certainly recommend this for Windows users, but for Mac, not so sure.

Virus protection and PC toolkit combo

This package is the way to go if you want both protection and special tools for looking under the hood for problems with your PC. The toolkit is based on the original Norton Utilities, which has been around almost as long as the PC has. Those tools are a lot less useful than they once were because of improvements in PC operating systems and background automation but if you really want to delve into whats going on behind the scenes, this will do the job. Just be careful when digging around in the registry or when deleting files Norton my suggest is junk. Making changes there could cause more harm than good since some of those files may be more necessary than Norton's housecleaning utilities suggest. Of course, most people are probably buying this for anti virus protection and Norton always does a decent job there. VPN is also available for those who want to protect their privacy. Just be aware some web sites may not work with VPN and others with passwords will require you to enter those even if you have save that info previously, since VPN makes you appear to be someone else. Also included is a password manager and Dark Web Monitoring, although you will have to provide a lot personal information in some cases, so they can check to see if any of it on the Dark Web. Given how many companies are hacked these days, that might give you pause but one would hope this is once company that should be able to secure that information . This is a pretty bloated package and will consume both PC resources and disk space. If you feel you need the protection, it may be well worth it. But built in security on Windows provides a good level of basic protection so this may not be necessary for some users.

Hi! We thank you for sharing your feedback with us. With regards to websites being blocked by Secure VPN, some websites may have geo-restricted content which do not load when it is accessed through VPN, or may not display the content if it detects any feature that blocks ad-tracking.

You can try connecting to a different region or unblock Ad-tracker feature in Norton Secure VPN. Please see link for guidance on how to https://support.norton.com/sp/en/ie/home/current/solutions/v132053419 Symantec

In this digital age, you really need all the security you can get. The Norton 360 is highly regarded for good reason. I personally am not a fan of the subscription model that EVERYTHING seems to be headed towards but the Norton 360 has good value with all that it offers. Setup was simple and straightforward. I think the app could be a bit more stream-lined but it was easy to use. The anti-malware works very well. It uses machine learning and constant updates to make sure you are protected. Meanwhile, it is the other utilities that come with the Norton 360 that make it more valuable. The dark-web monitoring is useful. I am a fan of the VPN. VPNs are almost a must-have in this world. It can really protect you and prevent tracking and theft of your digital data. Turning it on and off was very simple. It had great access to sites. I have used VPNs that did not have access to sites like Netflix. The Norton fortunately does work with Netflix (although not Disney+). There is a drop in speed that happens with VPNs. There was a speed drop with the Norton 360 but definitely tolerable and well worth it in my eyes for the extra security. I enjoyed the cleanup functionalities and I do think it helped keep my PC performing well. All in all, the Norton 360 is highly regarded and comprehensive. I think it provides good value and must-have functionalities in this digital age.

I was looking for software to help protect my son's computer since he's still learning all of the dangers of the internet and this has been a great product to fit that bill so far. He doesn't always recognize the risks of being online so the online threat protection is welcomed and the messaging is easy enough to understand that he isn't thrown off if messaging appears. I'm not always a big fan of a Password Manager but feel much safer with him having one available on his computer since password recall is always a challenge for him. The other security features such as the device security and smart firewall are added protection that build my confidence that his computer is secure. Although I like to think that his information isn't out there enough to need the dark web monitoring and recognize that it's always a risk. It's great to know that we have him setup for his details also be be monitored in case any of it lands on the dark web. Overall, I'm a big fan of the software. I always dread setup and installation, but with this program it was a breeze.

    Can’t go wrong with Norton

I’ve had Norton on computers pretty much as long as I’ve had computers. They’ve been around a long time and in my experience, they just keep improving. In my time using Norton both past and present, their antivirus software has never failed to detect threats, and either block them or remove them from my computer. Over the years and with this current version of Norton 360, their dashboard makes using the software very simple. It runs regular scans in the background but also does more in-depth scans, and now they offer dark web monitoring as well. That part is a little scary simply because I have already gotten some alerts about my email address being out there, but if you know these things, at least you can take precautions. As far as getting the software on your computer, gone are the days of needing a CD to download it of course. You simply make the purchase and receive your product key and enter it on their website. The download starts immediately and it’s a pretty quick process. One of the newer features that I just recently found is their aggressive scan options. You can run scans of your whole computer, of individual files, and of various programs before or after you download them onto your computer. Norton scans for the more common things, which in their case is very thorough anyway. However, they now offer aggressive scans that can scrub your computer if you have any serious concerns about lingering threats. You do have to be careful with this because the software could potentially remove things you actually need or want to keep on your computer. But in most cases things like that can be download it again if needed, and this offers additional peace of mind. I’ve used other antivirus software (usually because it was free with a computer purchase or something) but always end up coming back to Norton. Highly recommend getting and sticking with them.

    Love It...Nothing Standard About It

I've been a fan of Norton for many years and used almost every iteration of their product. This year I am testing the Norton 360 standard edition which also comes with Norton Utilities ultimate. I think Norton may have under-sold this version by calling it standard. It is the full Norton 360. The wording standard doesn't mean you get less AV protection It just means you get one license. With that out of the way, some of the things I like about Norton are: It doesn't eat up my system resources. It doesn't try to scare me into buying other products It doesn't try to install unnecessary browser extensions It just works! As for Norton Utilities Ultimate. I like it. I thought I had a pretty clean and optimized computer. But I guess I didn't. Norton utilities found tons of temp files, old registry entries, startup programs and some hard drive optimizations I didn't even know were there. Remediating the optimizations was as simple as one click. The only thing I didn't like was having to give them my credit card information for future renewal. Otherwise, this is a great product and I highly recommend it.

Secure With A Touch Of Horror

It's secure. That's for sure. I like having my equipment safegaurded from mallicious sites and possible breaches, like the next fella, but there's always that one thing that gets me every time. The fear of smething being there when it's not. And this sofeware doesn't break the cycle. It will tell you that your software or information has been compromised or whatever to get you to click on the next tier of protection. I understand that my safety is important, but so is my sanity. I want feel secure without feeling threatened. Norton 360 iis a reallyy good program to protect my system with and I do like the extra peace of mind that comes with having the protection. But i just hatte the jump scares. Telling me that I'm not secure or that I've been attacked makes me feel like the software isn't doing is job. I don't to know everytime an issue accures. that's why I have the software to begin with. I don't want to know it's there. I just want safe feeling of being protected. If Norton and the security softwar companies can start doing that, I think It would be so must easier to swallow the pill of th purchase. And since it is security, I'll have to recommend it to my friends. Not everyone is as safe as I am. And even I can benifit from it. Simply put. Drop the jumpscare tactics and just secure the paremeter. If you feel like you need it, get it.
