My 4 year geek squad protection plan is great. I usually take care of my items when I buy them very very much but I know that if one day I slip up and make a mistake my amazing Geek Squad protection plan will have my back!

I've had this monitor for about 2 weeks. Replaced my other just because this one supports Hdmi 2.1 for my PS5. So far it goes black for about 20 sec when turning a game on. Then last night it started having lines all over the screen. All connections are good and intact. Just the monitor acting up
I would recommend this to a friend

DO NOT buy unless you plan on keeping this display.
My eyes aren’t the best so let’s get the text looking blurry out of the way. Its not perfect but trust me a few minutes jumping around and getting it set up etc? You won’t even notice.
I first bought the 27” ips ROG from BB and decided to grab this a month later. Paid the $280 difference didn’t buy any warranty (cause I wasn’t sure Id keep it, cost etc) I’m a plus member so I get 60 days to try units and see which is best etc. figured it would take me a few weeks to decide… NOPE!
I was blown away hands down got the same feeling when I upgraded from a 24” to a 28” display or like going from 1080p to 4k.
Just try it, but as title says, better be prepared to let loose off the $800 itll cost ya. Yes $800 cause you are crazy not to buy the 4 year protection. It’s an automatic upgrade if anything including burn in AKA pixel retention happens lol.
Only complaint I have is no HDMI 2.1
but it still achieves 120hz at 1440p. That’s limit for consoles as far as refresh goes so that’s really not a bad thing. It’s got full display port specs so PC gamers can get the full 240hz if you wanna nerd out I guess. But 120hz for a console and up to 240hz for pc gaming? Dudes that’s all you need.
So I’m gonna give this a high, high recommendation based on my 30 years spent in a pc customization, repair, sales career.
OLED of any kind needs some love, so no matter what any advertiser claims dont just leave static images on screen and ho on vacation lol. But seriously normal use shouldn’t be a problem but don’t t try to test your luck. (That’s what the 4 year geeksquad added cost is there for anyway lol)
So everybody does pro/con at the end of these reviews so here ya go:
PROs: glossy panel (increases brightness)
Refresh rate is acceptably great
Colors are fantastic and vivid
USB hub with 2 pass throughs
Text is no issue (see photos below)
CONs: price as always
Wish it had hdmi 2.1 but not a deal breaker by no means
gotta babysit and use extra care due to oled nature but again, no deal breaker

I always try to get the Geek Squad Warranties for electronic items I buy that are above $50 or so and they usually pay off quite nicely! They usually don't cost that much more to buy and are well worth the peace of mind in knowing that you're pretty much guaranteed a working product for the duration of the warranty and sometimes for years beyond. Being able to get a good warranty is the main reason that I still buy most of my electronics from Best Buy.
Every once in a while I get burned, like we all do some times though. My most recent was with the Cyber Power Gaming PC that I bought about the same time as this monitor (2020) - it completely died just a couple of months after the Geek Squad Warranty ran out & it barely had any use on it! Ughh! I paid over $2500 for that (now) huge paperweight, so that's extremely frustrating that the warranty didn't last longer (3 yrs for that expensive of a pc? Geesh!).
But I am trying to keep reminding myself that it was one bad experience - a very expensive, bad experience lol - out of many and I will keep buying & recommending Geek Squad Warranties for as long as they keep providing quality services for quality products.
