Went to buy a different TV and picked this up instead. Very happy with the purchase. Set up is easy. I am using it with my Google Assistant and they work quite well together. The color is vibrant and crisp. I am enjoying Vizio’s new Watchfree. Comes with over 100 free channels! The sound is quite decent as well, however, I am also using an optical cable to connect the TV to Bose entertainment center for when I am watching movies.
The Smartcast is nice and I usually keep the TV in that mode mostly. I have also connected the TV with Apple TV to have a different interface.

I'm very satisfied with the purchase, however I recommend not having a flat panel TV shipped to your location. The screens are too vulnerable as with most flat screens. The picture is awesome. The features are numerous for this price range. The only question I have is in the set-up. I am trying to find out the difference between "living room" and "family room". They make a difference in the two in the viewing mode selection. Like most flat panels I also recommend purchasing a sound bar for more complete sound quality. I am 65 and have been a Sony fan my whole life. This purchase is one of the better ones.

This was my first 4K TV purchase, and I can’t complain about it at all. This TV is perfect for a living room where you have limited space. It has a perfect viewing area even if you want to sit up close to watch TV or play video games. Stunning colors, and the deep blacks are amazing. All can be adjusted to your liking. When I first started up the TV, the standard default picture was good as is. I only had to adjust the color temperature to a less cooler color output, almost natural. The “Cool” setting was a bit blue to my eyes. You can fine tune the color settings, but I won’t complain about the default settings. I play the PS4 and Xbox 360 on this TV, and it blows me away with the perfect 4K quality. Excellent TV for the money. It has close competition with upper end Samsung, Sony, and LG 4K TVs, but Vizio is more affordable.

Best choice for a great picture and features. Huge step up from my old 32" HP non-smart. Built-in cast features are awesome, If you have WiFi there's no need for a cable channel package from the provider. Hopefully this set lasts awhile, to soon to tell, but I'm more than satisfied so far.

Did a lot of research because i did not know much about TVs but wanted a smart tv that was 50 inches. Looked into LG, Samsung and Vizio and all similar models but i likes Vizio because it has Bluetooth/chrome cast/air play, great picture and sound is excellent!
Only issue was during set up- it wasn’t working properly until the software updated and then had issues with xfinity so unsure whose fault it was... but once set up, great!
I use it mostly for Netflix, cable and I connect my phones Spotify and peloton app to it as well. The chrome cast is really cool and easy and great for working out at home.
Great picture! I like the smart capabilities of this tv and the remote is easy also.

The purchase was quick and easy. This is the 3rd Vizio that I have Purchased in 15 years and they all still work. I purchased A Samsung last year and it broke 1 year after I bought it. It was a piece of junk.

I purchased this TV to use as a camera system monitor. The picture quality is great. Mounting the TV to the wall and setting up the TV was extremely easy.
The WiFi on the TV is pretty good as well. This TV is mounted in a warehouse office with metal walls and ceiling where the WiFi signal is not very strong. Even in this environment, the TV's WiFi adapter performed very well.

I bought this TV bc it was a great deal for the money! I love how it set up automatically with my iPhone and iPad. Picture is great, it could use a sound bar but maybe later. I had a Vizio before and liked the brand. For the money this is a good TV. I would recommend buying a Vizio bc it’s worth the money and good Quality.

I’ve used Vizio products for the last decade and had my 38” main tv go out. It lasted about 8 years and was about time for a large increase. This model is Vizio’s 2019 quantum tech package. Excellent viewing angles across the living room, rapid response when switching apps, and was able to be paired with my Amazon Echo. Very happy with the product for the price.

Great t.v. I didn’t have time to watch t.v. so I haven’t owned one in 7 years. It’s smaller than my last one and perfect for what I need. Since the pandemic and having to be quarantined I’ve gained 23 pounds. While working I can play WII and walk several miles with Leslie Sansone “walk to lose weight” videos with this t.v. and still be working.

This is my first Vizio tv and I have to say this has been quite an interesting experience. I like the all black sleek design and had no problems setting it up. Inside the box comes the Tv, the stands (with included screws), the remote (with 2 AAA batteries) and QuickStart guide/ warranty. On the back of the tv on the right (if you are facing the screen) you’ll find the following ports, 4 HDMI, composite video input, Ethernet, USB, Audio and SPDIF output. The tv also comes with WIFI, through which its Chromecast feature expands functionality greatly.
The tv comes loaded streaming services such as YouTube, Pandora, Amazon Video, Netflix, Hulu Plus, Vudu, VIZIO Internet Apps Plus and VIZIO WatchFree. You can access most of these features form the simplified tv remote but additionally you can download the Vizio Smartcast app that you can use as a remote as well. Outside of these apps with the Smartcast feature and the built in Chromecast, you can mirror supported apps from your phone or tablet on to the TV. It also allows for digital audio, video and picture playback as well as video playbacks straight from the internet.
Now to talk about the picture quality… This must be one of the best Tv displays I have ever used personally in my life. I primarily use this tv for gaming and movies and it performs superbly. The overall clarity quality of the picture is tremendously improved compared to my previous HDTV I had for the last two years. The wide color gamut allows for colors that appear more true to life. I easily notice this since I use this tv mainly for gaming and was quite surprised to find that this tv had HDR. Colors seems to pop off the screen with visual effects looking so lifelike. Bodies of water, sunlight, shadows, fire, smoke (I am currently playing Days Gone and God of War) look amazingly realistic and definitely helps to get you immersed in whatever media you are consuming.
This is an amazing Tv and I am sure the other M series are just the same, just in a larger size. It has many features that makes it future proof and it performs and looks spectacular. I would recommend it to anyone looking into a buying a 4k Smart tv.

When I purchase this tv I was exited to get home and set it up with my home theater to watch my fast action movies because I’m familiar with the technology since I owned a 40” tv that is 120hz refresh rate and just wanted a bigger one so this 50” looked like a good choice at the time.
I can’t begin to say how disappointed I was when I turn the “ clear motion” feature on and my movie was looking horrible and could not tell what was going on, I did a in deep research and even though the owners manual reads that is a 120 Hz refresh rate I learn that M- series are 60 Hz, do not buy this tv if you are expecting clear motion and to make things worse for me I can’t return this incompetent misled product because my spouse threw away the box.

I purchased the Vizio 50" M507-G1 TV on 7-25-19. I have had the TV for about 1 month now. For the most part I am satisfied with the TV. I was able to purchase it on sale for $399 plus tax.
I picked up the unit and went thru the setup procedure for basic operation without any problems.
The first small problem I ran into was the speakers are on the back of the TV (no room on the front). In some cases when the person speaking had a low voice I was not able to correctly hear the words being said. So I went back to the store and purchased a sound bar (Vizio 2.0 Channel Sound bar with Blue tooth $108.99) As soon as I did that the problem went away. I have it mounted on a entertainment stand, if you are wall mounting this TV I would definitely suggest that you also purchase a sound bar with it.
This TV operating system is called "SmartCast". I was surprised to find out that this "SmartCast" system will not connect to my network computer. I normally stream video from it. Yes I know about the mirror function but this is not what I'm talking about. My dvd player is over 3 years old and it will allow me to view my hard drives on the computer and to stream movies from it. I guess "SmartCast" it a bit behind the times. What this TV does have is a USB port. I am able to plug in an external hard drive docking system and watch movies from it. I do not know what the size limit is on the hard drive ( not stated in the specifications) but so far my 2TB drives are working fine. A better option would be to use a NAS drive on you network system but once again "SmartCast" falls short.
The remote is basic but works.
I do not plan on returning this TV and I would recommend it to anyone noting the minor but annoying problems stated above.

I’ve owned many television sets and have used many more but this was my first reliable TV with such a large screen that was HD and wifi compatible. My experience with it has been fairly positive so far; the only complaints I can think of is that the operating system on the TV is a little slow sometimes and occasionally it can become unresponsive and requires physically unplugging it from the power source to become operational again. Despite that, though, it has been a solid television for the most part, unlike the last Vizio I owned where the power supply board failed within a month of purchasing. It could use a more intuitive UI with faster processing but if you’re looking for an affordable and dependable option, you can’t go wrong with this one.
