Let me just say, this review won’t have fancy tech lingo but the basics that I know. I bought this tv in November after doing (what I thought was) good research on tv’s. I decided on the Vizio because it looked good on the floor model and a friend of mine’s family owned one and I remember it looking good. It also happened to be $100 off when I was looking to buy.
I came home with the tv, ecstatic to go from my 42” to a 65” and loved it the first few weeks. But then I just didn’t. Every once in a while, the tv would just flicker off and on in the middle of a video game or show. I checked the plugs and they were all secure. It also had a feature that when you plugged in, in my case a Nintendo Switch, it would automatically change to that input. It was nice if you wanted to immediately play, but the tv would take so long to turn on that I would walk off and wouldn’t notice it eventually turn on and waste energy. It is something that can be turned off, just me being lazy. The SmartCast on the tv rarely worked, always showed a ‘Not Available!’ message and casting things to the tv wasn’t as fun as I hoped it would be.
The tv comes with a set few apps, like Netflix, Hulu, YouTube, Amazon Prime Video, but for things like Funimation, you’ll have to cast it. I think Disney+ was added sometime this month as an app, but don’t quote me on that. So, I didn’t *hate* the tv, but I also didn’t love it. And considering I was spending ~$500, I wanted something I’d love longer than a month.

Love this tv! Size and picture is perfect, also love the smart cast (I can literally cast any video on my phone to the tv (even in the apps themselves ~ sling tv ect). Only think I really dislike about this tv is there is no App Store. Cannot add/remove apps so it is missing some apps that I use.. a work around is to either just stream them with smart cast or get a fire stick.

I’ve had this tv for a little over a month. I was amazed at the difference between this and the old Samsung 60 HD inch I was using. The 4K UHD is really amazing. As long as it stands the rest of time.. I have absolutely zero complaints about this TV.
*i can’t vouch for the smart options and WiFi phone streaming options, as I use an Apple TV for that.

This is my third Vizio brand television. Again, Vizio is meeting/exceeding my expectations. It has the same look and feel of the other TVs. It is very clear with brilliant colors.

This 65" Vizio is a great buy for the price. I got it on sale for $399 and I have no regrets. The picture is great with a good 4k signal and cable. It has now attracted the attention of our cats which our old 50" 1080p screen did not. It is light weight and install was a breeze on our existing entertainment stand.
Setting up the software wasn't a great experience. The tv would be updating the software and without warning the screen would go black and unresponsive. I waited between 1-3 minutes between "updates" and ended up pulling the power plug as the remote had no response. This happened 3 times during setup and before it finally finished.
After everything was updated it acts pretty decent. A little slow on the responsiveness between clicking the remote and things actually moving but it isn't too noticable in daily use. When you turn on the TV, the menu loads up very quick and that is a huge plus for me.
Only other comment would be there are too many apps that I will never need and you can't remap the buttons on the remote. Hopefully it gets a crunchyroll app at some point in the future. I only use 2 apps currently and the others are just a waste of space. Sorry Vudu.

I bought it when it was on sale. It was a great value for a 65" Smart TV with 4k. It's real clear, easy to set up in your network, and you can even download the app to control your TV (like a remote control through your phone). It's quite handy if you're the type to misplace your remote.
The home screen is easy to manage and scroll through. The top apps I use (Netflix, Hulu, Prime Video, and VUDU) all have their dedicated button on the remote, so it makes it a lot easier to access them. Only thing missing is Disney+.
One thing I'm a bit put off by is that my TV randomly turns on. I turn it off before I go to bed, and when I wake up, it's on. I have a camera pointed near my entertainment area and I see that it would randomly turn on, without anyone touching the remote. And it's not on any timers or anything. Good thing it's an energy saver item.

Just got this set delivered for free on Saturday, with the guys removing my old dead 60" DLP TV. I was amazed at the picture and the ease of setup! This TV worked great with my programmable Logitech remote right from the start, and was soon into Netflix and their 4K offerings! The speakers are very nice indeed, and quite loud, but for really serious viewing I use my surround system, of course. The set has three HDMI inputs and the optical sound output to my receiver.
I am really glad that you get so much TV for so little money these days. I was a Sharp guy for the past two sets, but now I feel that Vizio is and excellent option! And Best Buy is the best place for these HD TV's!

After 9 years and 2 moves, my first edition 60 in Vizio called it quits. As all my other tvs are Vizio, it was a no brainer. It was a good deal since it was right after Christmas. This had all the items I wanted and since it was not the main tv, i went with the V series. Clarity is fine for me and with the dimmer feature on the brights works well in my bedroom. Since I was already familiar with the brand, set up was easy as I have the expanded remote with the QWERTY keyboard that works on all my tvs.

So far, I am very happy with my new 65" Vizio Smartcast TV. I was able to take advantage of one of Bestbuy's sales special and come out with a great bargain. Also, to my surprise the new TV actually came with a number of unexpected features which is a far upgrade from my last HD TV. I would recommend Bestbuy to anyone looking for great bargains for their purchases especially if they are shopping for electronic devices.

This was my first purchase of a large flatscreen. I read the reviews and compared Vizio, Samsung and TCL 65” TVs. All 3 brands were displayed at a store. I felt the Vizio offered all the features I needed. Set up was easy, however the system updates did take a while. It has great color with a crisp picture! This tv is in our living room and the sound is clear and loud. Only downside is the remote, wish it had backlit keys.

I purchased this TV to replace my 8-year-old 47” TV. The delivery team arrived precisely at the arranged time and were friendly and professional. They set up everything and made sure it worked properly before leaving. I love this TV! It’s easy to use, amazing picture quality and such a reasonable price. Highly recommend!

Before purchasing the TV, I watched the "how to" setup videos on Best Buy website so once i got the TV home setup was easy. When you open the box, right on top are the instructions on how to unpack. After mounting the TV to the wall and powering it up, the set up on the screen was also very easy with the remote. The TV found my wifi with no issues there, put in my password and the TV was hooked up to the internet for Netflix viewing, etc. Iv'e had the TV for about a month now and have no complaints. The color on the screen is very good. I did not have to adjust any of the settings, but you can if you choose. The remote is very easy to use.
If there was one thing I would change is that I would make the buttons on the remote larger and have them backlit so you could see the buttons when its dark in the room.

Great TV with amazing picture! The only issue is that the Smartcast is not always available. Sometimes you have to go into an app on the TV and then exit the app to get the Smartcast to come up. Other than that, love the TV.

I absolutely love the brand Vizio. It is the only tv brand that I buy the picture quality is brilliant. I love all the features. I will definitely be buying another one. Also I love how easy it was to remove the tv from the box.
