I'm glad this product even exists. I already own multiple Xbox One and PS4 controllers and you're able to use it on the NS, saving you cash as well. My only gripe is that if you buy 2 like I did they both won't fit on the docking at the same time. I had to buy Usb extension cord for one of them so that they can fit.

Great little adapter that I use with my Playstation Classic. I am able to connect my Xbox and Switch Pro controllers without any issues. Be sure to check any YouTube videos out there that may help with some of the common issues you may face. Great little product!

A great adapter to allow you to connect different controlers to other consoles. Used with my switch dock to allow me to use my PS4 controler with it.

Works great with playstation classic and PS3 DualShock 3 or switch pro controller (only of the supported controllers I've tried). Connects fast, connection is solid and works great for me setting about 15ft away from TV/console. I would buy again and would definitely recommend

This never worked consistently for me and my Switch. I had to power cycle my Switch over and over.. go through the 8Bitdo setup process again and again and again and again in the hopes that it would connect my gamepads to the Switch. It normally took about 10 minutes of work every single time I wanted to play. I installed the 8Bitdo firmware version 1.32 and now it's stopped working. 8Bitdo customer service is nonresistant. This thing is a great idea but the reality is that it's trash.

I use this adapter for connecting an Xbox one controller to my Nintendo Switch, Connection was was pretty straight forward just simply connect the device and hold the button to connect. It remembers my controller so no need to pair it every time. It mapped all buttons according to their relative placement from the switch controller. This makes FIFA feel more natural since I can use a familiar controller instead of the joycons. The price is very reasonable considering it can also connect to many other devices. The design is nice and feels sturdy. My only wish is that it would have been a little more sleek so I could have connected it to the inside of the Switch dock since it doesn't allow enough space for the hdmi to connect right next to it.

The 8bitdo adapter is the most affordable answer to my problem. I've been wanting a Pro Controller for my Switch since I first got it but it's just way too expensive. I have a perfectly good 2nd PS4 controller just sitting inactive in my drawer. This little adapter has given my PS4 controller new purpose. I had to do some research to figure out how to update the firmware and set it up. I couldn't get it to connect with my controller, at first, but I had realized that I was not holding down the buttons on the PS4 controller long enough. And once I realized that, I was able to easily make a connection. The rumble works and I remapped the buttons to be like an Xbox controller so I wouldn't be confused using the PS4 controller. It works like a dream and I don't have to worry about drift. I'm really happy with my purchase!

One unexpected use, my SAMSUNG SMARTTV that accepts a USB 360 controller (and does not have bluetooth) works with this adapter. This effectively allows wireless controllers for apps like steam-link. If your primary usage of this adapter is for NES/SNES classic controllers, you can use them with a wiimote, but consider the 8BitDo gbros adapter so you don't require a wiimote and has an added gamecube adapter. Both options are great. All controllers work perfectly well. Xbox-One and PS4 dualshock on switch. 8BitDo controllers (tested SN30PRO and M30). Switch Pro easily working on windows without fiddling with driver software. This is even an easier way to get these controllers synced and working in linux (tested with debian elementaryOS manjaro)

It's pretty awesome. In addition to the 8bitdo dongle, I also have two Xbox wireless adapters. Both have pros and cons. The Xbox connector is far more seamless if all you use is Xbox controllers. It also lets you connect *multiple* controllers with one dongle. In addition, you can use voice chat. The 8bitdo dongle can connect to pretty much any bluetooth controller, like Wii, Wii U, Xbox, PS, etc. And I can use the 8bitdo with my Switch, PC, or other non Xbox device and use whatever combination controller with whichever console. The biggest drawback is that 1 dongle = 1 controller. If you want two players, you will need two dongles. But, you can use whatever controllers you want (pretty much).

Awesome device. Have some extra PS4/Xbox One S/X controllers lying around and want to save some cash? This adapter is an awesome alternative to the Nintendo Switch pro controller. I have used the pro controller and I like it but it's a bit of a steep price new, especially when there are other alternatives like this adapter. I noticed no input lag or control problems while using a PS4 controller on my Switch. It works wonderfully.

I use this mostly to quickly swap between my pc and my switch. I really recommend it for switching between devices quickly. Example, lets say you are playing in your living room, plug this baby in, boom done, ready to go. Oh no you forgot to talk to your animal crossing villagers, plug it in, boom done. I got this because my controller keep wanting to pair to the wrong devices. No more shall I suffer.

Easy set up. Easy to use. My son can now use his PlayStation Ds4 controller on his Nintendo Switch! Works great on PC as well. You'll need one for each controller you want to use. You'll also be have to purchase an adapter separately if you are using on a Switch while not docked. (only $10) Well worth it for an enjoyable Fortnite experience on the Switch. I bought this to use my Xbox one controller on my pc desktop that doesn’t have Bluetooth. I was aggravated at first because I could get it to pair to my controller but wouldn’t work to any of my games. With some research I found that it needed a firmware update. Once I went to 8BitDo’s website under support I found the most recent updated firmware and installed it. Works great after doing this. It it would have worked perfectly out of the box I would have given it 5 stars but with a firmware update it does work great.

This device is wonderful and works with diffrent controllers. I am able to use xbox controllers on my nintendo switch and playstation controllers on my pc. The software can be updated and its slick look make it ideal to carry around anywhere, definately a super mario feel with this one. the bad? it glitches, it disconnects, connecting can be a headache for some. Youre much better off with remapping software but if you dont like hassle and value easy setup, this is def the product for you
